Excellent Crisis Management & Integrity - Highly Recommended
I had a safari booked with Rocktrek, but unfortunately, my trip was disrupted at the very last minute due to the sudden closure of airspace and regional security developments.
I cannot praise Mr. Silas Lodenyo enough for his professionalism and honesty during this incredibly stressful time. Despite the 'Force Majeure' circumstances, Silas was highly responsive and acted as a true advocate for me. He worked closely with the Sarova Hotels management to ensure that my deposit was not lost, successfully securing a 12-month credit for me to utilize for a future trip.
In an industry that can be difficult to navigate during a crisis, Silas showed genuine transparency and integrity. I highly recommend Rocktrek for their excellent communication and commitment to their clients. I look forward to finally going on my safari with them next year!

Kenya safari
It was wonderful experience. We had very good driver guide Linus. He provided excellent driving and sighting experience. Could see Big 5 and Ugly 5. Sillas accomodated all our requests and offered us a tailor made compititive Tour Package.

An experience of a lifetime!
We went on a safari to Masai Mara with Rocktrek and had the experience of a lifetime we will never forget, which we will talk about for the rest of our lives. Our driver, Linus, was incredibly knowledgable. We had so much fun with him and he made the experience what it was. He knew all the right spots to see certain animals and covered so much of Masai Mara so we could see the beauty of it. The overwhelming and blissful feeling of our 4 days here left us not wanting to leave! The whole process of booking with Rocktrek was simple from start to finish, and was tailored specifically to our preferences to make the most of our trip to Masai Mara. We would without a doubt book a tour to Masai Mara with Rocktrek again, specifically with Linus as he made us feel welcome, comfortable and went out of his way to ensure we had the most amazing experience. They have even gone out of their way to arrange sending a forgotten bag of things we left in Masai Mara back to the UK for us, which we are so appreciative of. 10/10 from us.

RockTrek Rocked our Safari!
Our safari adventure was superb! We had a large group with 3 vehicles, and the team from RockTrek led us from Nairobi to Masai Mara, then on several excursions into the reserve where we had amazing views of the animals, from cheetahs to wildebeasts, lions to gazelles, elephants, zebras, and more. The drivers were so knowledgeable and helpful, the vistas breathtaking, and the lodge excellent. I cannot recommend RockTrek enough; when we return with another group next year, we will most certainly be in contact with them again!

My safari with Rocktrek Safaris was everything I hoped for and more. The guides’ passion for wildlife and storytelling made every drive special. The accommodations were charming and comfortable, with great views. I loved the personalized touches, like sundowners in the bush and visits to local villages arranged by Rocktrek. Very friendly and well organised tour operator
I had an amazing safari experience in Amboseli Nationalpark - everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The guide (Linus) was very professional and thoughtful, and the entire trip ran smoothly.
The drive itself was comfortable and felt very safe at all times. What impressed me most was how well Linus knew the animals. He always seemed to know exactly where to find them, and thanks to his expertise, we were able to see so many different species up close. He also shared detailed and fascinating information about each animal we encountered.
A real highlight was the beautiful lunch at a stunning lodge, where I could watch elephant herds right from the terrace. The food was delicious, and the setting was simply breathtaking.
All in all, it was a truly memorable day – I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Great game drive in Maasai Mara
This is my first time visiting Kenya. I was on a business trip and only took another two days off for a break, so at first I didn’t think I could do a safari. Then I found safaribookings, requesting 3 quotes. All of the travel agents were very nice and replied swiftly, but Silas was the only one giving me a phone call, so I chose Rocktrek. And it turned out to be pretty nice. My driver and guide, Linus, managed to let me see the 4 of big five, 3 of ugly five and surely a bunch of different antelopes, giraffes, hippos, cheetahs etc. in Maasai Mara. Though May is not yet a season to spot Great Migration, it is neither a bad time to take a safari trip here. I enjoyed a great game drive.
