What an adventure!
We went on a 14 day safari to Uganda primarily to see the big apes. Through a friend who is a seasoned traveler around Africa, we contcted Mandela Safari Holidays. Right from their communication, we knew we had made a right choice. Our excursion involved rhino trekking, murchison falls, chimpanzee trekking, queen elizabeth, gorilla trekking, golden monkey trekking, and lake bunyonyi. The guide Joseph was very patient, friendly and informative. We want to thank Daniel ffor arranging us such an unforgettable tour.

They are very friendly and professional operators.
I was looking to go on a wildlife safari and i found Mandela safari holidayss. they really helped my and my family to make wonderful memories. we saw so many animals and i was very happy to see the gorillas. Daniel was to good we never had issue with him he was always on time and was professional. i would definitely recommend them and use them again.

My 9days primate safari in Uganda was a better experience with Mandela Safari Holidays,the hotels in the etinery were extraordinary on a budget , Mr Robert my guide was very organised that I didn't miss any activity as the etinery stayed and everything was done on time, wish to travel back to Uganda and enjoy some of their other tour packages

Knowledgable and great guide
I booked a 10days Uganda safari with Daniel from Mandela Safari holidays and we wanted to do two chimpanzee tracking but on a low budget so we asked if it was possible and he really advised us on how to do it and it fitted well in our budget .
Our dream of trackingchimpanzees two times was achieved and we are so happy about it. I highly recommend Mandela Safari holidays!!

We were looking for a trip to Uganda for our family—three adult children and their partners—making us a group of eight. We wanted to book with a Ugandan-based organization, which led us to Mandela Safari Holidays.
Communication was excellent from the very beginning (we started planning in April 2025). Of the four quotes we requested, Mandela’s was the clearest and most comprehensive, as well as the best in terms of price. The 15-day trip we took covered everything. Our itinerary included Entebbe, Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest (chimpanzee trekking), Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (gorilla tracking), and Lake Mburo National Park.
We saw the "Big Five" and many other magnificent animals up close. We experienced amazing moments in the parks—the kind you usually only see on TV.
We had the best guide we could have wished for: Steven. He showed us everything and shared his extensive knowledge of Uganda, its culture, and its wildlife. He took care of every detail, safely driving us over 3,000 km in his van and showing us this beautiful country. He knew every road and route by heart, without ever needing a map.
If you are considering visiting Uganda after reading this review, you definitely should. It is a fantastic, unspoiled country with stunning landscapes. I highly recommend requesting information from this organization; I am convinced you will end up booking with them (they are affiliated with VZR Garant).
