WOW! Excellent experience beginning to end!
Ben and Olena at Glimpse of Tanzania were wonderful at helping us create the most amazing and memorable trip to Tanzania, that fit our schedule and budget. Not only did they organize a 5 day safari for us that included Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, they also set up a day visit to the Serval Wildlife Reserve, a day hike on Mt. Kilimanjaro, a hike to the Materuni Waterfalls and swim in the natural hotsprings of Chemka. It was truly the bucket list trip of a lifetime! For eight days, everything went smoothly and was seamless from the moment our guide, Kombo, picked us up at the airport to when he brought us back. We felt so fortunate to have Kombo as our guide, as he was so knowledgeable and experienced, personable and friendly, we truly enjoyed our time spent with him. Kombo paired us up with our fantastic guide Juma, for our Mt. Kilimanjaro day hike and Adam for the Materuni Watherfall hike. Again, both were very knowledgeable and personable, making our time hiking with them even more enjoyable. We also learned a lot about the area we were in from each of them. While we had a "mid-range" budget, we were very impressed with all of the accommodations and meals that Ben and Olena set up for us. We would highly recommend Glimpse of Tanzania Safaris to anyone thinking of planning an African adventure!

I was amazed by the richness of the wildlife and the raw beauty of the landscapes. Thanks to the experience of our guide—calm and passionate—we were able to get very close to the lions without ever causing fear, either for them or for ourselves. The lions appeared completely at ease, resting peacefully just a few meters from the vehicle, as if we were not part of their world.
The elephants, majestic and impressive, sometimes moved alone and sometimes in family groups, and observing them in their natural environment was a deeply moving experience. Crocodiles, motionless and silent, blended almost perfectly into their surroundings along the rivers and watering holes, adding an even more wild and authentic dimension to the adventure.
All around us, animal life was omnipresent. Many other animals lived in groups: zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, and many other species shared this natural space in perfect harmony. Each sighting was unique, giving the feeling of being immersed in a living documentary. This true immersion in the wild will remain etched in my memory as one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.

Along with the safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, we had special request to spent one day at Lake Natron, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. We couldn’t thank Ally more for making the whole trip comfortable and pleasant!

Our 4 day safari experience in Tanzania's Serengeti was an absolute dream come true, and it wouldn't have been the same without our incredible guide, Ally! Ally’s calm and kind demeanor made every moment on the safari extraordinary. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the BEST experience, sharing his wealth of knowledge about the wildlife and the ecosystem.
Our Serengeti safari was a wildlife wonderland! Giraffes, lions, elephants, hyenas, rhino (from a distance), hippos, flamingos, zebras, wildebeest, and cheetahs graced us with their presence. A mesmerizing adventure, leaving us in awe of nature's grandeur.
The accommodation exceeded all expectations—truly top-tier. The lodging was comfortable, blending seamlessly with the natural beauty of the Serengeti. The people at the camp radiated a warm and positive energy, making our stay even more delightful.
One of the most memorable parts of the trip was when we all gathered around the campfire under the vast African night sky, dancing and singing. It was a joyful evening that added a special touch to our adventure.

Great Tanzania Safari Company
We had a wonderful safari experience in July 2023, the whole package was organised by AGA Tours (UK) who put us with Ben @ Glimpse Safaris they are a fairly new company with great hospitality, vision, with huge investment and scaling plans for the business. We flew to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania for a 4-day safari package, which started with Tarangire National Park for a game drive, Dinner and overnight at Country Lodge in Karatu Hotel lots to see and great dinner. Then early wake up with a good breakfast. Before starting our en-route journey through Ngorongoro Area to Karatu - Serengeti National Park (2 days) with Overnight and dinner at Embalakai Tented Camp run by the Masai who were splendid hosts with 4star tents with king sized beds and quality food local and international. Would recommend waking early to see the amazing sunrise along with lots of wild life, with a good driver the Serengeti has many chances to see most/ all of the top 5 and lots more. Our last Safari Day 4 we spent in a great wonder of the world the Ngorongoro Crater and its wild life, all a must see for anyone visiting Tanzania. Glimpse Safari even personally handle our airport collections, pickups and return to the airport with a driver holding named collection plaque, which made our journeys smooth and easy. We then flew to Zanzibar for the second part a dream beach holiday (total 14 days), Zanzibar is a must for anyone wanting great mix of hospitable local people, historic places to see, quality local seafood restaurants and fine hotels. Finally, we would give the GOLD STAR stand out person AWARD to our Glimpse Safari personal driver Hamisi Ramadhani who throughout the 4 days was so knowledgeable, informative about the animal groups and birdlife, the best routes/ places to spots the Big 5 and he even fixed our vehicle door overnight himself, all good the next day - a really great chaperone (host). We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Glimpse Safaris for anything Tanzania, forgot to mention they are multi-lingual! Also, AGA Tours (for Africa Group or Single Holiday package deals).

The best!
The team were amazing! I made some life long friends, learnt a tiny part of new language, we laughed and sometimes cried. The journey up Kilimanjaro was like nothing I'll ever experience again. Very well organised, I felt safe and well looked after. The food was lovely, I was never hungry. I learnt alot about how not to rush up the climb. Lots of memories made. Just glad I made it to the top. This team will get you there. Thank you so much for the best experience guys. X

Absolutely amazing and unforgettable
We had such an amazing time with a very knowledgeable guide. He knew where to find the animals we were looking for, had always informations for us about them and was very entertaining. We were even so lucky that we saw a river crossing at Mara river. It was insane to see in live what you usually only see in TV. Camping and food was very basic but all you needed for an amazing trip.
Can highly recommend booking with this company as I had an amazing time and they looked really good after us. They were even helpful for advises outside of the Safari.

Kombo and his team are amazing
Being an amputee I needed to book with a company who I felt confident they would support me when needed. Kombo at Safari bookings is not only the most kindest, happy and fun person he is super professional and knows the ‘ins and outs’ of trekking in Tanzania. Kombo knows everything you’d need to know allowing you to feel safe at all times whist having the best time ever.
