Went above and beyond.
This is my second trip to Kenya using Imara destinations Africa. This trip was even better than the last. Ephriam is so thoughtful , and respectful of the animals and others. He is so knowledgeable about all aspects of Kenya. The culture , history. Wildlife. Etc. I learned so much during my trips. I took a few trips using Imara and it was so reasonably priced. He arranged everything I requested. I felt so safe he is a very experienced driver. Also has a great sense of humour. He genuinely cared for all of the guests he was dealing woth. I will definitely be back. Using Imara destinations. This reputable company will not disappoint.

They were so reliable and specially Muri our tour leader and driver ,I broke my bag zipper and he help me to fix the bag .I want to appreciate them all

A DREAM COME TRUE!
My wife and I had been intending to visit Kenya for a safari for several years. Covid and subsequent health issues put paid to that, but last month we finally achieved our dream, and what a dream it was! We chose Imara Destinations following the recommendation of friends who said what a fantastic time they'd had with them. Word of mouth from those you trust is the best endorsement.
My wife is not a confident traveller but fortunately Ephraim dispelled any anxieties. The very warm welcome we received from helpful and friendly staff heralded the beginning of the trip of a lifetime. We were delighted to find our travelling vehicle was immaculate and extremely comfortable. Water was provided daily and there's a refrigerator in the Land Cruiser, which we didn't expect but we were very pleased with it.
As for our Guide Ephraim, what a Gentleman. His knowledge of the area and the various wildlife was excellent. What we didn't expect was being introduced to local communities. What a joy that was! Genuinely friendly and interested people and that added so much pleasure to our experience. We both love wildlife and we were not disappointed. Having not seen wild Elephants (our favourites) before, this was simply wonderful and, I'm not ashamed to say, very emotional for us both. Our companions were fabulous company and we have made some lifelong friends. We were sorry to leave but what an unforgettable experience we had, and one that has enriched both our lives. Sincere Thanks to Ephraim and all the wonderful staff. I must also mention how impressed and grateful we were for the attention paid to the small, but important, details. We can highly recommend Imara Destinations Africa.

An experience of a life time!
Imara tours was the best tour I have taken to date in the Mara. I have been here a few times but nothing would beat the hospitality and knowledge of the land. I will be coming back here in the future with my kids to show them what Africa is really is. Communication was top notch with the company and we got exactly what we asked for. Don't be afraid to ask, they will find a way to make this memorable for you!

Ephraim was awesome!
Having lived in Zambia, South Central Africa, I have been on several safaris but this was by far one of my best experiences.
Accommodation, food, the tour was excellent.
Best of all was our guide, Ephraim, was amazing. He is very knowledgeable of all the wildlife we encountered. It was hot warming to see that he truly enjoyed his work and cared for the land and the animals that we were fortunate to view in their natural habitat. His care extended to us to ensure that we were kept safe and felt very comfortable. Looking forward to do another trip with my extended family soon.

One of the best trips in my life
Visiting Africa is always a little nervous thing to do. You hear a lot of disturbing stuff, that they would cheat you, take your money and disappear, that the timing is something next to non-existing, you'll lose a lot of your precious time arguing with the driver and so on... And most of it is true, but not with Mureithi Ephraim. He is one of the most reliable and precise person I've ever met. During our trip to Kenia everithing went exactly as we agreed, we saw all the parks, the car was there for us every morning, clean and with a supply of water. No extra charges. Mureithi himself knows a lot about the animals which can not be over-esteemated during a safari trip. We parted as best friends and still keep contact ib Facebook.
His company is the best choice for you in Kenia! And trust me, I know what I'm talking about as in Tanzania we missed Ngoro-Ngoro completely just because of an unprofessional driver. We missed Mureithi so much...

Fantastic experience
I was so pleased with all aspects of my trip. Ephraim was so knowledgeable of the animals we saw. I am a nervous traveller , but he made me feel so at ease I soon forgot my fears. He is a safe driver and has a great sense of humour. I will definitely be going back soon. I was very pleased with the cost of this trip. Well worth every penny.

THE BEST YET!
Having undertaken several safaris in various locations in Africa, I have to say none has bettered this one. Everything - accommodation, food etc - was superb & excellent value for money.
Our Tour Guide, Ephraim, was awesome. His knowledge of, & respect for, all the wildlife we encountered was superb. This is not just "his job"; it's clearly a labour of love. He genuinely cares about all the many animals we were blessed to see. We were treated with care and respect and we felt entirely comfortable & safe. A trip of a lifetime, we will be returning as soon as we can. Highly Recommended - 10/10!

Jambo, excellent tour of Nairobi National Park, the wildlife is stunning… From the airport pickup to the accommodations, everything was smooth and comfortable.
