Adventure of a Lifetime!
We just came back from a safari with Williamson Adventures and had an amazing time! William, who helped us with planning the Safari was incredibly responsive, quick to help us customize our trip and offered very competitive pricing. The tour guide we had, Tom, was also fantastic. Tom was very knowledgable about the animals and surrounding habitat. He also helped us to tailor our safari trip to best match our interests. At the end of each day we planned out the next day and he gave us various options!

Our safari in Tanzania was a journey of discovery and which will be in memory forever
Our safari was the perfect blend of adventure and safety. Our guide Tom was well trained, and the company adhered to all safety protocols, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without worry. Beyond the wildlife, Williamson Adventures included visits to local Tanzanian communities, offering a rich cultural experience. We appreciated the opportunity to learn about and engage with local traditions. Memorable cultural experiences with Williamson team.

Extraordinary safari experience in Tanzania.
Our 6 days safari experience in Tanzania. The team was very flexible with scheduling and they maintained excellent communication. Guide (Tom) he was awesome, friendly and a lot of experienced about wildlife. We had the privilege of seeing all of the Big Five, lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos up close in their natural habitats. The sight of the Serengeti bathed in golden light, with zebras, gazelles, and giraffes all peacefully grazing together, left us speechless. It was as if we had stepped into a nature documentary, but this time, we were living it. The adventure felt like a true immersion into the natural world rather than a touristy, commercialized experience. We really felt connected to the environment. Given the quality of the experience, We felt like us got excellent value for my money. The level of service, equipment, and guidance provided was well worth the price. This journey was more than just a safari it was a chance to connect as a family and immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of Tanzania. Thank you, Williamson Adventures and Tom, for an experience we will treasure forever.

Professional and comprehensive viewing of all the animals you want to see
Very professional, took us to see all the animals, including the Big Five and the Ugly Five. The guide has a keen observation ability to ensure that we can see a variety of animals. He is also very warm and friendly. It was a very happy trip, worthwhile

This journey is fantastic!
We went on a 7-day safari in Tanzania, and it was a perfect trip. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our guide, Ibrahim. He has eyes like an eagle, constantly searching for animals on the savannah for us. We saw all the Big Five, including leopards, cheetahs, lions, and an elephant that passed right in front of us. Moreover, he was very conscientious and attentive, making our experience very comfortable. All the accommodation experiences were also perfect. The unique tent accommodation allowed us to rest well. At the end of the trip, William arranged for a driver to take us shopping and sightseeing in Arusha, and he treated us to local delicacies. Overall, Williamson Company is an excellent safari company. Following them, you will have a perfect safari trip. Also, they offer Kilimanjaro climbing programs. I think I will choose this company again to take me climbing next time.

Bad Experience
We booked 8 days custom luxury safari. Out of 8 days, one day spent sitting in a hotel room Picnic food was frozen rice, salad without dressing salt or paper, frozen fruit, Chapati with Guacamole that was turning brown. I ate but requested luxury as your stated. Moving forward, initial three days none of the five big one was seen. Other tourists were able to see so they were there. But our driver took us to far remote areas where no other safari drivers cars were going. He never used the radio to communicate with other safari drivers When I questioned and stated him about wasting our precious vacation days, he literally threatened me. Remember Serengeti means endless, large area. They can take you to remote areas where and drop you, no one will ever find you And that is what his threat meant to me. I have copy of the chat to prove it. Horrible and expensive experience. Buyers beware!

Posted on Jul 8, 2025Dear Safari Booking Team,
We genuinely value all our clients’ experiences and remain fully committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and fulfilling safari with us. However, we would like to provide some important context regarding the concerns these particular clients have raised.
1. Itinerary Changes:
We understand that flexibility is sometimes desired during a safari, but significant changes to the agreed-upon itinerary can affect not only the guest experience but also our logistical planning and operations. The original plan — including 2 nights in Ndutu and 1 night in Central Serengeti — was carefully crafted to maximize wildlife sightings, particularly the migration, which is a highlight for many travelers. Although we accommodated the clients’ last-minute request to spend more nights in Central Serengeti, we did advise that this might reduce their chances of witnessing the migration. Such sudden changes inevitably create operational challenges for our guides and other travelers.
2. Payment Terms:
As stated in the contract, the final payment was due 30 days before the safari start date. Unfortunately, when this payment was not received on time, we were placed in a difficult position — especially since, in the past, we have faced fraudulent situations that resulted in significant losses. Despite this, we allowed the safari to proceed in good faith, hoping to resolve the matter amicably. However, by the third day, we had no choice but to request payment to continue the safari, as these funds are vital for covering operational costs and ensuring the quality of service for all our clients.
3. Food and Lunch Arrangements:
To maximize guests’ time on game drives and avoid missing key wildlife sightings, we normally provide picnic lunch boxes or, where feasible, a hot lunch (sometimes at an extra cost, depending on the accommodation). This arrangement allows travelers to spend more time exploring the park rather than returning to the lodge for meals. In this case, the clients insisted on driving directly to the Serengeti for a hot lunch, which required a 3-hour break in the middle of the day. While we always try to respect our guests’ preferences, this decision significantly impacted the day’s plan and reduced valuable time for game viewing, which is the highlight of any safari.
4. Operational Challenges and Stress:
Our team works diligently to ensure each safari runs smoothly. However, last-minute itinerary changes, payment delays, and deviations from agreed plans create considerable stress for our management, guides, and other clients. We always do our utmost to balance individual preferences with the overall quality of the experience for everyone involved.
We genuinely regret that this experience did not meet the clients’ expectations and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. At the same time, we hope you can understand the challenges we faced in managing these last-minute changes and requests.
Follow-up and Resolution:
We have already met and discussed this issue with Mart during the Kili Fair, where we thoroughly addressed the complaint and presented evidence supporting our position. We remain committed to resolving this matter professionally and transparently, and we kindly request that you consider removing this review, as it does not fairly represent the circumstances.
We are always open to further discussion if needed. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Williamson Adventures is a professional customer-focused tour operator with exceptional service.
My mother and I had the most incredible 4-day safari with Williamson Adventures, and we cannot recommend them highly enough!
We started planning this safari a year in advance, and the communication and planning were all we could ask for. We went back and forth with decision-making, but William really met our needs with this tailored safari.
From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. We explored the breathtaking Serengeti, the stunning Ndutu region, and the iconic Ngorongoro Crater—each destination offering unique and unforgettable encounters with nature.
Our guide, Didas, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly friendly. He had a deep understanding of the wildlife and landscapes, making every moment of the journey exciting and educational. He spotted animals long before we even noticed them and made sure we could get a bit closer to see them with our own eyes. He also maintained great contact over the radio, allowing us to see the Big 5, the migration, and so much more.
As we handpicked our lodges with William, we knew we had chosen amazing accommodations: Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge and Lake Masek Tented Lodge. But nothing prepared us for how beautiful these accommodations would be in real life—not to mention the outstanding service. It was truly everything we could have wished for.
The only thing I regret is not doing a longer safari, so I will be back!
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and we are so grateful to William and Didas for making it so special. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, look no further—this is the team you want!
