An Unforgettable Honeymoon Safari!
My wife and I booked a 3-day fly-in safari from Zanzibar with Mountain Warrior Tours and Safaris, visiting the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire as part of our honeymoon. What an incredible experience!
From my first enquiry, Evaline was fantastic. So helpful, attentive and professional, tailoring everything to what we wanted without ever being pushy.
Our guide Augustine was an absolute star! Friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. We had some great conversations throughout, and his ability to spot wildlife was amazing. We saw all of the Big Five, including a rhino, leopard and prides of lions, plus an extremely rare sighting of a cheetah with her three cubs! His knowledge of the animals made the experience even more special.
A huge shout-out to Warriors Luxury Tented Lodge in the Serengeti! What an incredible place! Hearing wildlife outside our luxury tent at night was unforgettable. The staff were amazing, singing for us and decorating our room for our honeymoon. Such a warm welcome and fantastic food. We honestly wished we'd stayed longer! Our next mountain lodge near Ngorongoro Crater was also lovely, welcoming and comfortable, but Warriors Luxury Tented Lodge was definitely our favourite!
Everything was perfectly organised, from flights and transport to all meals, drinks and delicious lunches along the way.
We made memories we'll treasure forever. Cannot recommend this company enough! A massive thank you to Evaline, Augustine and all the wonderful staff for making our honeymoon so special!

Amazing safaris tour
I searched and found Mountain Warriors on Google. I was checking another 2-3 tour companies that recommended by some friends but no company having better price and hotel rooms and services than Mountain Warriors. The sales lady (Ruth) replied my texts and responded to my request very quick when I needed her most. Then step by step all the program was done exactly as the plan mentioned in the quote she offered us making us happy and trust her more… thanks to Ruth and Mountain Warriors team, we had amazing trip in Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park that we could never forget, all the best to Ruth and your company team.

Efficient, supportive and kind.
My husband and I booked a five-day safari with Mountain Warriors, visiting Tarangire, the Serengeti for two days, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.
Our experienced driver, Michael, took great care of us throughout the trip. He made sure we had everything we needed and helped us feel safe, even on the bumpiest roads.

Ask for Innocent, the driver. He made our trip.
My review is largely based on the driver, as it’s the driver you get that will make or break your trip.
Our safari with Mountain Warriors was exceptional, and the single biggest reason was our driver and guide, Innocent. He was above and beyond from the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off. He helped with our bags, suggested the best places to stop, and kept the whole trip focused on what we actually wanted to see and do. He has about a decade of experience and it shows in everything he does.
He told us the Serengeti was a second home for him, and he wasn't joking. His ability to spot animals was remarkable. Something would look like a rock from a kilometre away and he'd say "do you see that animal over there." He once heard a cheetah hidden in the distance and knew exactly where to drive to find it. A lot of guides watch for other vehicles and drive over to see what someone else has found. Innocent was the one finding those spots first. He answered every question we had about the wildlife, the land, and the country, and he was respectful and well spoken throughout.
During the northern Serengeti portion he knew exactly where to wait for a crossing and we were the first vehicle there. As other vehicles started piling up, he told us that if they parked too close the animals wouldn't cross at that point. He radioed the other drivers to move back. None of them listened and the herd moved to another location, exactly as he said it would. He read the animals' behaviour before it happened, which is the kind of knowledge you can't fake. Plenty of people say they had the best guide. Innocent proved it over and over.
One moment sums him up. We made a joke about wanting to skip the second night in the north and go back to central Serengeti. He actually reached out to Mountain Warriors and arranged it at no extra cost, even though it meant an extra four hours of driving for him that day. He's also an excellent driver. He knows the roads and routes, plans the day so you arrive on time, and still maximizes the time spent with the wildlife, all while driving safely.
Mountain Warriors as a company were excellent too. They facilitated every request, checked that we were happy throughout, and didn't hesitate to make the trip special. They picked us up and dropped us off at our requested locations, roughly two hours in each direction from their usual points, at no additional cost.
Two things to flag. On arrival we were told the tipping guidelines had been updated at the start of the year, but the website still shows the old figures. We wanted to tip Innocent properly under the new guidelines and couldn't, because we hadn't brought enough cash for it. That needs to be updated online or communicated before arrival, because as it stands it's the driver who loses out. Also, the vehicle has fans but no air conditioning, so it got very hot at times. On the plus side there's a cooler with cold drinks and a power outlet for charging devices.

Experience of a Lifetime!
What an exceptional experience with Mountain Warriors, especially thanks to our guide, Isaya, and our representative, Helena!
From the beginning, Helena was extremely responsive, and even after payments were made, she continued to respond immediately to any questions I had. Upon arrival, Helena was there to greet us and make sure we had a smooth transition to our safari. Our trip was logistically challenging, including flights to and from Zanzibar, multiple hotels and locations over a short period, and all with two small children in tow. Helena handled these challenges perfectly, all while maintaining the kindest personality. Not only that, but the luxury hotels she selected for our package did NOT disappoint!
They say your guide can make or break your entire safari, and Isaya really made ours. He was wonderful to our family, a great and safe driver, and incredibly informative. Not only was he able to tell us so much about the animals and the land, but he also had eagle eyes, spotting even the smallest African hare hiding in the bush while driving along.
While we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five in just a three-day safari, we understand these are wild animals and would never have held it against our guide or safari company if we had missed any of them. However, our guide knew where to look and how to find the animals so well that I'm certain it's partially thanks to Isaya that we finally saw the elusive leopard on our last day! I used binoculars to see it, then couldn't find it again when I put them down. I actually had to look through the binoculars once more just to identify which tree my bare eyes needed to focus on to see the leopard sitting completely still. Isaya spotted it with the naked eye!
In addition, Isaya worked incredibly hard to make our trip unforgettable, putting in early mornings, driving all day, and making sure everything was in order each evening so the following day would be smooth sailing. I didn't realize that after these long days, he would also be cleaning the jeep, but sure enough, every morning we woke up to find it all tidy again. We also never had to wait long at the park gates, as we saw some others doing, because our guide was always on top of everything.
Above all of Isaya's efforts, hard work, 20/20 vision (I would have to assume!), and extensive knowledge of Tanzania, he had the most wonderful personality. Spending 12 hours a day with someone for multiple days can certainly test your patience, but there was absolutely nothing annoying or unpleasant about Isaya. Quite the opposite, in fact. I genuinely hope we've made a couple of lifelong friends in Helena and Isaya thanks to this trip.

Knowledgeable and Experienced
Literally look no further! This was the absolute perfect Safari. From the time of booking with Evaline to the end of our Safari with our guide Abdi it was stress free and seamless. I have a million questions when I book and Evaline was super patient with me and went through the entire itinerary with me before booking.
Our guide, Abdi, was absolutely perfect for us. We had a private safari and hit all of the major parks. We saw FOUR leopards. We bypassed seeing some lions (we had spent hrs already with them earlier that day) bc of a baby leopard he had heard over the radio and we were literally feet from it. Wow - it was an amazing experience. We really took into account what we wanted to see and made it happen. We had so many questions about the animals and he was so knowledgeable. We made a couple of pit stops per our request like the gift store and a pharmacy and he worked it into our itinerary for the day. You can tell Abdi takes pride in being a guide and loves what he does and is always safe! We are so so so appreciative of him! We went for our honeymoon and every accommodation was perfect. The picnic lunches were a highlight of our trips. Thank you Mountain Warriors! We hope to be back when we start a family.

Booked this tour and was provided with excellent service. Victor was the best safari guide we could have asked for. Detailed Knowledge and so professional, he provided exceptional service and wish him all the best. Warriors tented luxury lodge- the staff made the evening enjoyable and the food was delicious. Exceptional service from the whole team there!
We were booked into a 4 star hotel outside Ngorongoro crater and loved the experience. The last lodge was a bit of a let down but still a decent experience overall. Only area to improve would be communication- explaining when the tickets for flights would be booked. Thanks to Ruth for organising everything so well. Wish her all the very best. Would highly recommend these guys as the service provided is exceptional.

An Absolutely Incredible Safari Experience in Tanzania – Highly Recommended!
We had an absolutely amazing experience on our seven-night safari in Tanzania, and I cannot recommend this safari company highly enough. From the very beginning of the planning process right through to the end of our trip, everything was exceptionally well organized, and we were looked after so well. The entire experience exceeded our expectations and gave us memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.
A special thank you to Rosemary, who was instrumental in planning our trip from the very beginning. She took the time to understand what we were looking for, helped put together our itinerary, and made sure everything was carefully planned and organized. Her communication, professionalism, and attention to detail gave us great confidence even before we arrived in Tanzania.
When we arrived, Ruth took over and continued to look after us wonderfully while Rosemary was away on holiday. The transition was seamless, and we felt completely taken care of throughout our trip. Ruth was helpful, attentive, and ensured that everything ran smoothly. It was reassuring to know that we had such a wonderful team supporting us, and we truly appreciated the care and effort both Rosemary and Ruth put into making our holiday so special.
A particularly special mention must go to our safari guide, Innocent, who accompanied us throughout all seven nights. He was absolutely fantastic and played a huge part in making our safari such an unforgettable experience. His knowledge of the wildlife, animals, birds, and the surrounding environment was impressive, and his passion for what he does really shone through. He was always happy to explain things, answer our questions, and share his knowledge, which made every game drive both exciting and educational.
Beyond his knowledge, what really stood out was his personality and professionalism. Innocent was extremely respectful, friendly, patient, and approachable. He was always punctual, well prepared, and attentive to our needs. Everything was handled in such an organized and professional manner that we could simply relax, enjoy the experience, and appreciate the incredible beauty of Tanzania without having to worry about anything. His dedication, calm nature, and genuine care made a real difference to our trip.
Spending seven nights on safari with the same guide means that the guide becomes a very important part of the overall experience, and we honestly could not have asked for a better person than Innocent. We are very grateful for everything he did for us and for the effort he put into making each day special.
Overall, the entire safari was fantastic. The planning, communication, organization, hospitality, and personal attention we received were excellent from start to finish. It was clear that the team genuinely cared about ensuring we had the best possible experience, rather than simply providing a service.

The BEST experience!
Our guide, Mali, was amazing! He knew his stuff which made for a highly informed safari for us. We got to see The Big 5 up close & personal! Communication with Mary was outstanding! Our favorite stay was at the Warrior Luxury Camp….so beautiful & the service was to die for!!! STAY HERE!!!! The manager here, Sudi, was a phenomenal leader! We’d go again just to stay here! We did have several vehicle problems but Mali was an outstanding mechanic as well! Highly recommend this tour camp!
