Fantastic and adventurous
5/5

When we first looked at the price we were very iffy.
When we first met our tourguide (john) he was extremely exited to meet us and we went on. Our tourguide was happily bringing us around and happy to explain everything.
We saw the big 5 including the baby versions which was very nice.
We had breakfast every morning from 6-8 and the shef was also very kind and we had delicious food.
In the end I would say that it is completely worth it, John was the best and I give it a 5/5!!

Very communicative and sorted everything we could need.

We as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 7 year old) took a 5 day safari with Mountain Warriors with John as our guide covering the serengeti, Tarangire National Park Tanzania, ngorongoro crater and lake manyara.

This was a trip of a lifetime made even more memorable by John our guide, I highly suggest choosing the camping on the serengeti and negoragora crater as they for me were one of the higlihjts of the trip. I cannot recommend mountain warriors and John in particular to take your safari with. We got to see all the Big 5 and Ugly 5 and the knowledge passed on by John was great the serengeti is huge so there will be periods of time you will see no animals but even during those times the ambeaunce is amazing and you will soak it all in. One piece of advice, don't leave things hanging to dry outside your tent because the buffalo or hyenas will eat them 😂😂

The Most Amazing Safari Experience with Mountain Warriors, John & Miriam

We had the most unforgettable 5-day safari with John from Mountain Warriors—it was truly beyond anything we could have imagined! We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater, and every day was packed with amazing landscapes & adventure.

Our absolute favourites were the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We were incredibly lucky to see the Big Five, including lion cubs, leopard cubs, a cheetah family, and the wildebeest migration. The amount of wildlife we saw—zebras, gazelles, elephants, hippos, and more—was just incredible.

The safari vehicle was very comfortable, and John was an exceptional guide. His knowledge, patience, and determination to find animals made the whole experience so special.

We spent two nights camping and two nights in a lodge. The camping experiences were something we’ll never forget—especially at Ngorongoro, where we shared the camp with buffalos and zebras roaming freely around tents. It was surreal how calm and peaceful they were, even just between the tents & next to people.

Tips for future travellers:
* Bring a good torch/flashlight—there’s a lot of action at night you won’t want to miss!
* Don’t leave clothes or shoes outside your tent—buffalos chewed up my daughter’s towel!
* Pack very warm clothes for the Ngorongoro area—nights get cold!
* And don’t worry if you’re nervous about camping—the tents were very clean and fully waterproof.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime. We can’t recommend Mountain Warriors and John enough—thank you for an extraordinary adventure!
Huge thanks to Miriam for our delicious, freshly cooked food everyday: pancakes & swahilli food meals. It was really special!
