Desorganised
2/5

Very disorganized company that spoiled the safari experience. We had taken a group safari: non-compliance with the program initially announced, change several times of safari groups, driver and plans, announced excursions of a one-day duration that ultimately lasts only 5 hours.. you return to the lodge at 2 p.m. then you have all afternoon doing nothing. And what a lodge.... More than miserable: no hot water, no equipment, really unhealthy conditions. We were entitled to 2 guides, one very professional and the second null, gives no explanation, doesn't cares about customers, just wants us to go back to the lodge early, really no communication and didn't even make the effort to look for animals. Finally, we are warned the night before late that there is a minimum amount of tips to give per day to the driver and the cook when we had not planned so much cash for these additional expenses; the other companies warn in advance of the amount of these fees. In short, bad experience, company to flee!!

We did Serengeti + Ngorogoro crater. It was a beautiful experience, luckly the view was stunning as where the animals. Unfortunately, our guide couldn't give us any information about the animals nor the bush, he was more our driver then our guide. At some point I asked questions and he just stopped answering. I was there with my partner, and we were with another couple that booked the "budget camping" as accommodation, whilst we booked the option "luxury safari". And I have to admit, the places we slept where beautiful. But on the first night, our "guide" that clearly didn't know the Serengeti, was lost and it was almost nighttime. We asked him to look at our google maps but he was to stubborn and would only do it his way. We ended up riding in the middle of the safari in the dark for more then 1 hour. We finally arrived at nighttime in our first accommodation, the other couple had to drive one more hour in the dark to their tents. The next day we arrived at our second accommodation, which was once again beautiful. We agreed with our "guide" to wake up in the morning and leave at 7am after breakfast. But the next morning they woke us up shouting in front of our tent at 5AM, telling us we had 5minutes to rush and leave our accommodation. It was still dark when we left our accommodation, and we didn't get our breakfast with the sunrise that we booked in this beautiful place. We were told it was because our flight was at 1PM in Arusha, that they booked the day before (it was planned when we booked that they would provide a flight for us in the evening). We then arrived to the accommodation of the other couple to get them, they were still in their tents when we arrived. We then had to wait in a dirty kitchen to eat the breakfast of the budget camping (One fruit and one egg). We asked why we couldn't have breakfast in our initial accommodation like planned (which we btw payed 900$/night according to google), they said that it was to make sure we had more time to visit the crater since we had our flight at 1PM. We ended up waiting for one hour at this camping with backpakers. We then went to Ngorogoro and received a call saying they changed our flight from 1PM to 8pm. It was a really poor organisation. We left the crater for the airport at 3
4PM. When we did leave our "guide" quickly asked the other couple to come and have a private discussion. They talked for 20min in front of us "secretly". Later on we found out it was because the operator wanted to offer them something in exchange for their patience with the poor organisation. We didn't receive any offers. When we left for the airport the driver told us it was a 4h drive. We asked how we were supposed to get our flight, he started driving really dangerously in order to get us to the airport on time. Really dangerous. After 3 hours driving, the driver goes in a little street in Arusha that looked completely abandoned. We asked what he was doing, he told us he had to get "something from his office", we said we were afraid and we didn't like it, he stopped responding. We drove through a gate that 3 Masai men closed after us. We were trapped in a parking in Arusha surrounded by 5 men. Our driver still didn't talk and proceed to step out of the car. Then one person opened our door and told us they didn't receive our money transaction for the safari. They threatened us. We showed the proof that the money left our bank account and was send to theirs, and the fact that they didn't received it could be because international transactions can take up to 3 days. (It was the second day). After threatening us they let us go. The next day we received a text saying they did well receive the money and that they were wishing us a very merry Christmas.

We were happy with the operator, Rehema was very helpful and always accessible over the phone/what's app, when we needed her.
One of the drivers was not too engaged, Jessie. The other one, Kissamo, was perfect, he told us a lot and was spotting animals before we see them. We had an amazing 2 days safari trip to the crater and one of the parks. The crator is must go, we highly recommend.

We went on a two day safari in March to Tarangire and Ngorongoro and had the best time almost seeing all of the big five! Our guide was sharing interesting facts about every animal we have seen and we also managed to see at least all of the ugly five. Funny guide, would recommend. All in all, great experience and fair price in comparison to others!

Great safari experience
4/5

The pros: Overall safari was a great experience. We were able to see many animals throughout the serengeti, ngorogoro crater, and tarangire national park. The accommodation booked was also fantastic and of high quality. Rehema was always quick to respond to any questions we had on whatsapp and was very responsive.

Improvements: Some of the planning leading up to the safari could have been better. We had a hiccup with our accommodation bookings (which the company ultimately helped us resolve). We ended up staying at different places than originally planned but they were just as nice, if not better. Briefing and timing of briefing meeting was also a bit confusing leading up to our departure. Nothing major but a few small things to improve.

Thanks for a great time!

The communication with the two drivers was very good. The tour itself was not cheap but the price was lower than the competitors. Plus they made a very good choice of Hotels and Camps.

Unforgettable 3-Day Safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Mecky
4/5

Our 3-day safari experience in Serengeti and Ngorongoro was nothing short of magical. The landscapes were breathtaking, the wildlife encounters surreal, and our accommodations exceeded expectations with their comfort, stunning views, and warm hospitality.

While we did face some initial misunderstandings with the safari company regarding logistics, our guide, Mecky, truly turned things around. From the moment we met him, his humor, kindness, and deep knowledge about the animals and the ecosystem put us at ease. Mecky not only ensured we had an incredible wildlife experience but also made every moment enjoyable with his stories and positive energy.

The Serengeti delivered iconic scenes of lions lounging in the sun, elephants strolling majestically, and endless herds of wildebeest crossing the plains. Ngorongoro Crater, on the other hand, felt like stepping into a lost world – an awe-inspiring concentration of animals surrounded by dramatic crater walls.

Despite the initial hiccup, this safari became an unforgettable adventure, largely thanks to Mecky’s dedication and charisma. We wholeheartedly recommend this experience – just make sure you have someone like Mecky by your side!

The safari was very beautiful and intense, the guide was kind and the landscapes and animals seen were unforgettable. The only flaw of the Tour Operator was that they changed the accommodations after booking the tour

Amazing tour and costumer focus for two days safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro
4/5

We have bought 2-day safari from and to Zanzibar by flight. Rehema has welcomed us in Arusha Airport and given a short brifing about the tour. Then, our driver picked us up. He's very experienced person and good and safe at drive, and also a very good guide. He has explained all animals specs. We were comfortable in the jeep during the safari thanks to him. First day Tarangire National Park and second day Ngorongoro Crater where we have visited. We had the chance to catch the opportunity to see very closely all big fives thanks to our driver. We had a picnic lunch for each day. The hotel we stayed was amazing and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were very delicious and open buffet. Even if coming back to the airport took five hours and tiring, that was worth it . We have very good memories. I recommend all of you to visit Ngorongoro which is unique in the world.
