Amazing!!

Magical tour, expertly organised
Myself and my 2 children did a 3 night / 4 day Safari, organised and provided by Mellivora.
The trip was amazing. We visited Tarangire National Park, spend 2 days in the Serengeti (including a dawn balloon ride on the second day) and finished with a day in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Our guide was polite, courteous and diligent in showing us the best that the reserves had to offer and was very good with my children, making sure that they felt included in everything that we did and the places we visited. He was always on time, from collecting us at the airport when we arrived to being ready to set off each morning during the trip.
The accommodation organised by Fransisca was lovely and she took great care in making sure that this was a magical trip for us.
I would gladly recommend this company.

Excellent service from start to finish
From the moment I made my initial enquiry Fransisca was so attentive and responded to all my emails very quickly. The price of the tour was extremely competitive and you can easily change the itinerary subject to budget
We had the pleasure of Dominic being our driver for five days - he was extremely knowledgable of all the Safari regions we visited and always made our comfort and safety a priority
Even though I didn’t know this company before I trip I would 100 percent recommend them to anyone who was planning a Safari to Tanzania

He is the best at his job!
My wife and I booked a safari with Fransisca Evance through Mellivora African Travels for our honeymoon and I’m so glad we did. It was an incredible experience! Our guide Bryson was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the animals we encountered and Tanzanian culture. He ensured that we were able to see as many animals as we could! We added on a hot air balloon tour, which was absolutely incredible, worth every penny. The lodging and the food was also excellent. I would highly recommend booking with Mellivora African Travels!

Amazing, i just wished that we booked a longer trip.
The trip for us from Zanzibar was amazing. The whole organization was so good from Fransisca. Even tough you are on the other side of the world and don’t really have control, this amazing person just fixed everything for us. So we left our luggage at Zanzibar as it is not convenient to haul all bags with you crossing the African terrain. The driver to picked us up from our hotel and dropped us of after the trip was done, very friendly.
After flying a very cool flight in a small plane that was just sweeping and gave us some amazing views over the African savannah we landed and met our super friendly guide, Adam. The knowledge and good sense of humor made the trip a lot better.
The housing on the trip was satisfactory al the way through, just imagine to eat your breakfast while looking at the hippos doing there thing.
So the only thing that I might do differently is to do the 5-day trip instead of the 3-day trip as we did. Really amazing.

Perfect organized Safari with an awesome guide
Eyerything was perfect. The booking was very easy and flexible. We saw so many different animals because our tour guide was awesome. The lodge they chose was a dream. Nice view and very good food. We can recommend doing a tour and are very happy that we found Mellivora African Travels.

Mellivora African Travels is highly professional and well organized
My husband and I booked our 5 day 4 night safari adventure by flying into Serengeti airport from Zanzibar via Arusha and flew back to Zanzibar through Arusha (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire). During the booking stage Francesca has been super helpful and informative every step of the way, every email, every question/ concerns was answered promptly. We were able to customize our safari booking such as make changes to the lodges we were staying at, to adding hot air balloon experience to our itinerary, Fran was nothing short on assisting and ensuring that we were happy. At the start of our safari in Serengeti, we were met with our safari guide Ludo and the first thing he said to us was "We will be family for the next 5 days, so anything you need please let me know", he did in fact deliver an exceptional safari experience, he was super friendly, warm, very attentive to our needs and our own pace. Ludo is a very experienced guide (very informative) driver and he knew the all parks very well, we actually seen other drivers stuck in mud holes but he had no issues navigating around it. He also ensured that after each game drive the truck was clean for the next day, he definitely made this Safari experience a memorable one!! The hot meals that was provided during the game drives was also very delicious as we had dietary restrictions (Gluten allergy).
One more thing to point out is that this company also arranged for our flights and pick up and drop offs to and from the airports. Abdul our driver was super helpful and friendly, he found us easily and ensured we were on time for our flight and he was also on time for our pick ups from the airport.
Overall, we could not be more pleased with this company and the service that Fran and her team provided. I would highly recommend Mellivora to anyone that is looking to plan their Safari adventure.

Fantastic trip
Our trip to Tanzania was fantastic. Every aspect of the trip was on-time and went according to plan. Fransisca was constantly in touch to ensure the trip was meeting our expectations and our guide Ephanda was amazing. We saw 4 of the big 5 (no panthers), had excellent accomodations and good food. It was an exceptionally good value for the money. I wouldn't hestitate to use their services again.

Private Tour to Northern Tanzania
Fransisca, Gordi, Jordan, and Agostino were amazing. This tour was everything I was hoping for and more!
Fransisca spent weeks working with me to refine the itinerary to something that would suit my tastes and desires, offering various options for locations, and types of stays. I ultimately decided to do a camping option as wanted to be close to the action and as 'real' as possible. The camp sites we used were excellent, and the facilities as expected for this type of trip - so as far as I was concerned it was perfect!
Gordi managed the Arusha elements of the trip with airport pick up, Arusha tour, and tours around Kilimanjaro. Was on time, friendly, knew his stuff, and was clearly friendly with everyone we met along the way - excellent source of local knowledge!
Jordan (driver and guide) and Agostino (cook) were a pleasure to be around, knew their stuff, managed the day-to-day perfectly and over fed me with delicious food for every meal. Jordan understood what I was hoping to see each day, and made sure we were able to get the best out of every photographic opportunity.
I have no hesitation in recommending Mellivora and look forward to coming back to Tanzania and travelling with the team again!
