Professional and very human.
5/5

The guide was very professional and took charge of my daughter upon her arrival because my flight had been cancelled. She looked after her and started the safari with her and the driver. Both were excellent company throughout the stay and offered very good advice. The trip was very well organized and everything was perfect. I highly recommend Aurelia for her professionalism. Anderson, the driver, is passionate and loves to share his knowledge about the animals, the country, etc. Their company is very pleasant. I recommend them.

Memorable
4/5

Our tour guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the national park and its animals. Our drivers were also incredibly nice and fun and showed us beautiful landscapes and game viewings. We sometimes felt uncomfortable about how many jeeps were in close distance to an animal, but we communicated that with our guides and stayed a bit further away. It was all super well organized, reliable and smooth. We really enjoyed our time on the safari - super memorable experience, very grateful!

Good communication, understanding and knowledgable
5/5

First time I coming to Kenya and I heard great things about the Masai Mara. I connected with Ezekiel through WhatsApp and his communication was very good. We agreed a $900 USD to the Masai Mara which included a ballon ride - 3 days, 2 nights. It was a lot of money to spend so I was hopeful it would be worth the money. I did a group tour and I shared a jeep with 6 other tourists. It was a long 6 hr ride to the Masai Mara and had a few stops along the way for bathroom, food and shopping. The last 2 hours are extremely bumpy so be prepared. Our accommodation situation was tented and I shared with another guy from Korea. It was very basic accommodation but the food was fine and I slept well, just don’t expect 5 star rooms. The Masai Mara itself was fantastic and we saw every animal apart from the Rhino. The hot air balloon trip was just over an hour with a beautiful breakfast laid out after. Without doubt the staff make the trip special as the Kenyan people are very kind hearted and nice. Food was good quality. The final day we visited a Masai Village which was a beautiful experience fe to learn more about the Masai people and their way of life. They were kind and appreciative. My only advice to people to to bring a few warm layers as mornings can be chilly and don’t pack too heavy either as you’re pretty much wearing the same clothes the hole time. Bring shampoo too, sunscreen and if you are a photographer bring a lens that can zoom in a lot.

Delivered to the maximum
5/5

The Nature path travels is an overbound experience from booking to the safari itself. The interests in understanding what the tourists wants to achieve at the end of the safari through out the planning was key. Loved the communication in each and every detail. Allan was amazing in keeping intouch through out the booking. Along side communication, we had options on what we could chose from and Jambo mara was a good selection for us. Value for money in every aspect and very reliable even on time management which was quite a big issue that could have made the experience memorable or even not worth it but all ways way over my expectation. The Tour driver was really amazing Shout out to Dan we were able to manouver and experience more than what the eye could meet. The interaction was top notch and every talk made it feel like home. Private safari any day all times.

Professional, friendly, and passionate — they made our safari unforgettable.
5/5

We want to thank Alan and Andy for giving us such an amazing experience! We never imagined a safari could be so special. They were incredibly helpful with everything we asked for, showed us the best spots, and really explored the park with us instead of just following other cars. Their knowledge about the animals and the environment made every moment exciting and educational. Everything was perfectly organized, communication was smooth, and we always felt well taken care of. Highly recommend Nature Path Travels for anyone looking for a personal and authentic safari adventure!

Reagan is caring and responsive; James and Steve are both professional safari drivers
5/5

For people who might be looking for a local travel guide for a private safari in Kenya and/or Tanzania, I recommend contacting Reagan from Nature Path Travels. My overall travel experience has been so smooth, and Reagan is caring and responsive to different personalized inquiries. Also, the drivers he selected for the safari (James from Kenya; Steve from Tanzania) were both very professional (let the professionals search for the wild animals for you is the best choice you have while in a safari). I managed to see all the big fives and some very rare animals in short distance (while I heard some other travelers led by other travel guide could barely see a lion in a long distance...)

The best!!! Amazing!
5/5

Our safari through Kenya this week was a dream come true, and we owe so much of it to the incredible team who organized and guided us every step of the way. From the very first moment, everything was handled with such professionalism, care, and genuine warmth. Every detail — from the transfers and lodges to the game drives and local experiences — was perfectly planned and flawlessly executed.

Our guides were not only deeply knowledgeable about the wildlife, nature, and culture of Kenya, but also passionate, kind, and always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and safe. Thanks to them, we saw breathtaking landscapes, countless animals (including the Big Five!), and learned so much about this beautiful country.

The organization was beyond excellent — always on time, always available, always smiling. We truly felt cared for like family, not clients. Kenya stole our hearts, but this company made us fall in love with the entire experience.

We can’t recommend them enough — if you want to experience Kenya in the most authentic, magical, and worry-free way, this is the team you need. Thank you for a week we will never forget! ❤️

Unforgettable and personal
5/5

Super thankful to the amazing team! We had an unforgettable experience with Nature Path Travels when we did a 14-hour layover in Nairobi. Ezekiel, Ann and Daniel met us at the airport and immediately made us feel welcome and well taken care of in a country we had never been before (I hadn’t even been on the continent). Mama Ann and Daniel guided us throughout the day with Safari by jeep in Nairobi National park (and an exciting walk with a lovely Masai man who also guided us well), an elephant orphanage and a giraffe sanctuary where we got to feed the giraffes. They also took us to a lovely lunch with local food! We saw 4/5 of the big five that day and were very happy with getting to learn more about the animals and are thankful for Daniel’s long experience and passion about them! For example, now we know how to spot the difference between black and white rhinos (it’s not about color) and we know more about different types of giraffes. We appreciated the spontanouesly requested Swahili lessons from Mama Ann and how she was attentive to our needs and wants during the day (our energy levels were shifting due to the long flight before). The team were also very humble and requested feedback to improve their services and the only constructive feedback we had and gave was regarding some details of the elephant orphanage presentation (not by Nature Path Travels but the orphanage organisation). All in all, we felt the team at NPT were so generous with their experience, sharing information and stories that we were curious about, attentive to us and we would definitely recommend this experience and would use NPTs services again in the future! Hope that our paths cross again Mama Ann, Daniel, Ezekiel and the beautiful country of Kenya!

Mixed feelings
4/5

I would say we were happy with the service and that we had a good time. BUT I was in contact with the agency long time before our arrival in Kenya. We talked and planned everything to the perfect point. The only issue was when we were told couple of days before our arrival that we will have a slight change of the plan for the FIRST DAY ONLY, which was not true. It totally ruined the first day of the safari, because it was only 2 hrs in Masai Mara and we still had to pay the full price to entry the park which was very disappointing. First day gone, we weren't happy at all I wish the tour guide told us that it's not worth to do the first day(arrival day at Masai Mara) and just cancel it. The second day was great, we were really happy that day - it was full day safari at Masai Mara which was worth the money. Then the next day we headed to another national park and the plan was to leave early so we can arrive there early and start the game drive as soon as possible so we have more time at the park, that was the AGREED plan between the agency and us. It didn't happen. We only had another 2 hrs in the park and we still had to pay the full price for that day. I totally understand that the road is long drive but I wish the tour guide told us that the plan we are making is not possible to fully enjoy. When we were talking everything was agreed and we were expecting to STICK to the plan but it didn't happen at all. So day 1 - disappointment, day 2 - great, day 3 - disappointment. Day 4 - we headed to another national park but before that we did another game drive for 2 hrs because we told them that we are upset for the day 3, because we didn't have enough time at the park at all. They decided to offer us another 2 hrs morning drive the next day at the same park which we agreed, but we weren't told that we won't have enough time for the third park we are going on the day 4. Then on day 4 we arrived at the third park spend another 2 hrs at the park, which was "kind" of the plan, wish it was longer. The BIGGEST issue was that on day 5, which was INCLUDED in the package I paid for another game drive in the morning before we leave to Diani Beach, I had to pay another park fee(120$ for two) and to the driver(200$) which was total disappointment as this was supposed to be INCLUDED in the plan. I WISH we were told that the plan we are making is NOT possible since the driving hours and long distance between the National parks but we weren't told. That was the biggest issue. Miscommunication. If we were told that is not possible to do this and that for the time we have, we would have made another plan so we can enjoy the game drives for more hours, instead of only 2 hrs per game drive. You PAY THE FULL PRICE BUT YOU DON'T GET THE FULL EXPERIENCE. Thankfully we saw all the animals for that short amount of time in the parks and I would say we are happy with the tour guide and the driver. The issue was misleading communication.

In short the plan was to be picked very early in the morning from the airport and drive to Masai Mara on first day. We were told that it's possible and there is no issues for the pick up time. We were late like 3 hrs before we drive to Masai Mara. Then after we arrived we didn't start the game drive right away and as I said we only had like 2 hrs at the park for which you have to pay(400$ for park fees for two and another 200-250$ to the driver). Not cool. We would have cancelled the first day for sure if we knew that. We are not very experienced with safaris so I wish we were told that the plan we make is not possible because of the long distances. Didn't happen.

Second day Masai Mara full day - an amazing experience and great day.

Third day - Lake Nakuru, we arrived early there but didn't start the game drive until it was too late. We had like 2 hrs which was kind of okay, but we expected to spend more time there. Then on the fourth day we were offered to spend another 2 hrs in the park so we can "fully" enjoy. I would say we were happy with that.

Immediately after the game drive we drove to Amboseli which is very far and we arrived and thankfully we started the game drive immediately. We spend another 2 hrs there and it was good. The next day we were supposed to do game drive in the morning at Amboseli but we were told that the package includes only one game drive which was on the arrival day. So basically they told us that we are paying so much money just to spend 2 hrs afternoon game drive at Amboseli. The next day they said we are heading to Diani Beach without any game drive. THE PLAN was to do another game drive in the morning at Amboseli and then drive to Diani. They disagreed that was the plan so I had to pay another (120$ for 2 ppl for the park) and also 200$ to the driver so he can drive us around the park for like 3-4 hrs. We had to agree to pay that because obviously we came so far and to only spend 2 hrs in Amboseli was not enough.

After the game drive we drove to Diani and we were dropped of.

Don't get me wrong tour guide and the driver were good, but the communication was so bad and we didn't stick to the plan at all. The only day we fully enjoyed was the second day - full day in Mara. The rest of the time - not so good and we had to pay more than the agreement we had. Not cool. We had a good experience but expected way more. We left Kenya with mixed feelings about the agency.

4 start I would say...
