The perfect experience
5/5

We booked the 8 days tour including Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. And it was incredible. First, Stephen was a very friendly and helpful contact person who was always available for questions and he organised the entire tour so perfectly.
We've never thought to be that close to the animals and be save at the same time. Our guide Mike had so much knowledge and passion about the animals and entire environment and knew exactly when we had to be patient and where was the best location for watching and observing. The hotels that were booked were very nice, clean and offered a wide range of food options.
We enjoyed every day of our tour and can highly recommend Peak Season Africa!

Exceptional Safari Experience – Truly Unforgettable!

We recently returned from a family safari with Peak Season Africa Safaris, and I can’t say enough about how incredible the experience was. From start to finish, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.

The entire trip was seamless – from transfers to luxurious lodges and expertly guided game drives. The team clearly takes pride in offering not just a safari, but a world-class experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and passionate, making each game drive both exciting and educational for the whole family.

The accommodations were top-tier, blending comfort and luxury with stunning views and warm hospitality. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and we felt pampered throughout our stay. The food was also outstanding – a true culinary treat in the heart of the wild!

Traveling as a family, we appreciated how well they catered to all ages. The kids were engaged and safe, while the adults were able to fully relax and enjoy the beauty and thrill of the safari.

Highly recommend Peak Season Africa Safaris to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable safari experience. Thanks to them we made lifelong memories!

Customer centric tour operator for African Safari
5/5

From start to finish, the service was outstanding and truly made our experience unforgettable. Steve went above and beyond by personally ensuring our lost luggage was delivered to one of our safari destinations—a clear reflection of their dedication to customer care. All the safari guides assigned to us shared the same commitment to our safety and enjoyment. Gideon, Aziz, and Erasim were exceptional throughout. I highly recommend their services. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Well arranged safari with superb driver Denis. Caring, friendly and reliable for solo traveler.
5/5

As a female solo traveler who came the 1st time to Afica, Stephen as the tour coordinator is very reponsive and patient, and Denis as the driver is the key man to fulfill all my dream and made the whole tour wonderful and fun.

Stephen always reply my requests and questions promptly, no matter it's related to the tour or about the safty issue. He Even texted me to care my flight, accomodation and everything readiness before and after safari tour. Even later i found the optional activity price such as balloon safari, Boat drive in Lake Naivasha was quoted much higher than other travel agency, the tour experience was still satisfying.

The driver and tour guide Denis is very friendly, caring and professional. He delitently introduce the animal trait, habits, so as the culture, language, and whater we passed by during the road trip. I can feel his sincere love to the animals and the land which make me feel so much warm. Everyday he will confirm with me for tour schedule next day, and is very flexible if i have extra request to adjust. He is always on time with very clean vehicle every morning, as we know it's super dusty even muddy whenever going through a safari.
He is friendly and generous to share everything with me including his wifi, binocular, snack and soda :D he is more like a true friend instead of just a tour guide. i bet everyone will like him very much if you have trip with him.

What a ride! Spectacular experience in my life.
5/5

This trip changed my life! Huge thanks to Peter for crafting such a perfect itinerary, and to our phenomenal guides Nickson and Johnathan. Because of their deep expertise and amazing eyes, we saw the Big Five—yes, ALL of them! But the tour wasn’t just about animals. They also taught us so much about Maasai culture, language, and life. It was like a moving classroom with endless fun. Every moment was exciting, educational, and unforgettable.

We flew from Nairobi to Maasai Mara by Cessna, and I highly recommend this option—it was smooth, quick, and scenic. No long drives, just straight into the heart of the wild!

To be honest, I can’t imagine my life without this experience. I’m truly grateful I met Peter, Nickson, and Johnathan. You guys gave us something beyond words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I love you guys!

Tom (in Kenya) and Vincent (In Tanzania) are the best drivers & guides for Safari Game drives
5/5

My wife and I went for 26 days of safari in Kenya and Tanzania national parks.

Planning: All planning was done with Stehen. Stphen had proposed an itinerary that covered visits in 10 national parks, and other activities in Nairobi. Steve and I had continuous conversation from April 24 through May 25 to adjust the plan to fit out preferences, including some last-minute changes. Steve had always responded and accommodated my requests with polite and clear communications.

execution: We were assigned with the best guides- Tom in Kenya and Vincent in Tanzania. Both were driving safely and with concern to our comfort (this is no easy task taking into account the lack of quality to roads in Kenya and Tanzania, negotiating unmanaged and unpaved roads, damaged by rain fall, and with multiple speed bumps. Both provided us with background information related to the roads we took, Animal we saw, and other type of information. Tom and Vincent h worked hard taking us to multiple game drives and were able to locate the different wildlife animals. This was not an easy task since animals were hidden in tall grass and bushes.

We were able to see multiple animals of all kinds. it was much more interesting to see them in nature, compared to seeing them in a zoo.
We were luck to see Chitas hunting Gazzels from the point of planning an attack to its completion (i.e. seeing the Chetas eat their catch).

One note. Not all nation parks are equal as to the possibility of seeing wild life, especially cats.

We had good luck in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, as well as in Masai Mara and Serengeti National Parks.

Not such luck in other National Parks, like east & west Tsavo, and Tarangire National parks. Although we were able to see some Elephants and Zebras, other animals were not to be found. The guides worked hard to locate wild life, but, one cannot squeeze water out of a rock.
The one wildlife we met with in these parks were the Tsetse flies, that were attacking us inside the vehicle, forcing the closing of windows and observation top. Not fun.
It would it better if we could skip these parks.

This travel agency is very cost-effective, the tour guide is very good and enthusiastic, and I am very satisfied with the itinerary
5/5

The price-performance ratio is very high. I saw the Big Five of Africa. The price is the cheapest without any pitfalls. The hotels I stayed in were all very good. The hotels are all within the scenic area and very safe. The tour guide Kevin is very responsible and the time arrangement is very reasonable. I hope more Chinese people can read this review

An excellent introduction to the great safaris in Kenya!
5/5

We are a family of 3 looking for a good experience being the first time in Africa, and we got a great one instead!

Stephen as the trip coordinator was patient, understanding and responsive to our numerous questions (vaccines, where to visit, what to wear etc). After discussions, we decided on a 6-night package (excluding Nairobi which was separate) being 2 nights each at Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Ol Pejeta Conservancy (2), all with the Wilder Group at Entim Camp, The Cliff, and the The River Camp, respectively. During the trip, Stephen greeted us on arrival and departure to the airport, went over the plans was available via mobile / WhatsApp when we needed help with the guide and the tented camps.

While the tented camps may have been relatively pricey, it was worth the while being a great compliment to the Safari experience, each being excellent in their unique (morning wake-up calls with tea and biscuits, rolling up curtain blinds) as well as their specific ways:
1. Entim's location at the Mara river was excellent and unfenced, giving you a sense of adventure while Chef Joseph culinary skills were the best of the trip. On departure day, witnessing 2 male hippos fighting for dominance within the common area was unforgettable.
2. The Cliff sunset / sunrise views above Lake Nakuru, expansive grounds with well-appointed and large rooms provided a premium experience, with regular greetings from hyraxes, baboons and eagles throughout the day.
3. The River Camp had the largest rooms, a private and serene location and Chef’s Gideon inventive cuisine (ask for the pina colada sorbet). Being next to the Ngobit river, it offered a great bonus with various animals visiting the watering hole on the opposite side (Giraffe, Elephant, Rhino, Bushbuck).

On to the tour, Tom exceeded expectations of being a great and knowledgeable guide that made the safari alive. Firstly, he was always early and in between safaris, he made sure there were appropriate stops for bio breaks, mealtimes and viewpoints / experiences (Rift Valley Escarpment, Masai village, Kenya/Tanzania balcony, Lion hill, Thomson Falls and the Equator line). He was clear in his communication on start / end times yet adaptable / accommodating to our needs being a private safari.

During the Safari, Kenya’s plentiful wildlife was the reason to be here. Additionally, Tom made the drives relaxed and was eagled-eyed in spotting the wildlife that were hidden, from afar, and even behind!
1. At Masai, while it wasn’t crossing season, we spotted the Big 4 easily (Rhinos were not present) including Lions (twice, once with a kill), Cheetah (thrice, once with a kill) and Leopards (once, 2 of them hidden on the trees with a kill). Each safari route was different ensuing we have a variety of viewings such as the riverbanks with large Nile crocodiles, large hippos and baboons atop the riverbanks.
2. At Nakuru, Tom gave us an account of the flooding that resulted a change of environment. We spotted Rhinos from afar, a pride of lion and lioness walking across our paths and a host of birds and land animals.
3 At Naivasha, the boat and walking Safari was an extra charge which was equally excellent, allowing to be even closer to the wildlife. Although Tom wasn’t the guide, he ensured we had ample time for the visit, and we never got hungry.
4. At Ol Pejeta, Tom continued with his excellent drive and spotting, being close as possible while keeping us safe, such as when a male elephant decided we were too close, and Tom’s quick thinking ensured we were easily out of harm’s way. We enjoyed spending time with Baraka and took 2 additional tours at an extra charge for memorable visits to the Northern White Rhinos and feeding time with the Chimpanzees.

Nothing is perfect and likewise with the tour. The Masai village tour was educational but could have done away with the hard sell, the Wilder Group properties seemed geared towards “wilder” and couples providing less privacy in showers/toilets, climate change resulting in reduced flamingo sightings (just 2 were spotted). However, this and other areas of improvement were minor compared to the excellent experiences that we truly enjoyed.

In summary, it was an excellent introduction to the great safari for our family, and we fully recommend Peak Season Africa Safaris and the selected properties and experiences.

Even before we departed, we were wondering when our next safari in Kenya would be!
