Peak Seasons is a professional, helpful and efficient tour operator
We had a 4-day tour of the Maasai Mara with a tour guide called Elmada Songe..
Songe was an outstanding tour guide, who delivered the ultimate Safari experience. He was very knowledgeable, patient and had a great sense of humour. He knew exactly where to locate the Big 5! We were spoilt for choice. From cheetahs to lions to buffaloes, to elephants to baboons to leopards to crocodiles to zebras to giraffes to hippos to elands to topis to thousands of wildebeest and zebras !!! …….
Seeing all these animals in the wild was simply breathtaking.
We wrapped this up with a visit to a traditional Maasai village.
Our safari was nothing short of Amazing!

Our Safari Adventure: A Trip to Remember
Just got back from our safari, and wow—it was an experience we’ll never forget. Early mornings, sipping coffee while the sun rises, and then hopping into our Land Cruiser to explore the wild. We barely got started before we were up close with elephants, lions chilling in the shade, and giraffes casually strolling by.
Our guide was fantastic—super knowledgeable and made everything feel personal. The accommodations were perfect too: cozy, peaceful, and just what we needed after a day of adventure. Each night, we’d sit under the stars, talking about the incredible sights we saw that day.
It wasn’t just a trip—it felt like a real adventure. The kind of experience that makes you feel connected to nature in a way nothing else can. If you’re looking for an unforgettable getaway, a safari is the way to go!

Perfectly planned and executed tour
We were super happy with our safari tour! Steve, the organizer, was always available in advance and responded to our questions within minutes. We were then picked up on time at the hotel by our wonderful driver and guide Daniel.
We spent eight wonderful days with him and enjoyed them very much! Daniel was always extremely friendly, caring, punctual and really enriched our safari! We were very happy to have him as our guide. He showed us all the wonderful animals, guided us safely over even the most unpleasant roads and always had a smile on his face. He explained the animal world to us and we learned a lot! We always felt safe with him! the tour was very well organized all in all, even when we had a small problem, Daniel was able to help us out immediately. Steve kept asking how things were going, so we felt very well taken care of and in retrospect we are very happy with this wonderful experience!

First time on safari and very happy
We spent 4 nights in total — 2 in Masai Mara, 1 in Naivasha, and 1 in Amboseli — and we were lucky enough to see all of the BIG 5 within just the first two nights in Masai Mara.
The team was absolutely amazing. Huge thanks to everyone!

Our tour was outstanding, hassle free and smooth experience - Highly recommend
We just returned from an 8-day, 7-night safari in Kenya (2 adults and our 5-year-old), and it was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. Kenya is everything you imagine—breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife, and warm, welcoming people
From the start, Stephen, our trip coordinator, was incredible. His response time was unbelievably fast, never more than an hour, and he helped us fully customize our itinerary. We could choose everything from accommodations to the type of vehicle (highly recommend a Jeep over a van for comfort on the bumpy roads), and even how many days to spend in Nairobi before heading out.
Upon arrival, Stephen personally picked us up from the airport and ensured we were settled in our Nairobi hotel before the adventure began. We then got Felix (our guides WhatsApp), we arranged pickup timing and details for the next day. Everything was smooth.
So Felix was our guide, which and in my opinion is the most important part of any safari. Felix is a local from the Masai Mara, born and raised in one of the villages, and his knowledge of the landscape, wildlife, and culture was unmatched. He was with us from start to finish, always ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of, while also sharing fascinating facts about the animals and environment. As a talented photographer himself, he positioned us perfectly for some of the most amazing photos we’ve ever taken.
We did do some optional extras (like a boat ride and Masai village visit), but if we didnt want to, there was never any pressure to do them - it was always completely up to us. Traveling with a 5-year-old, we also appreciated how flexible Felix was with stops for shopping or toilet breaks along the way. His vehicle was spacious, clean, comfortable, had a fridge for drinks, and even international plugs to keep our phones charged during long drives.
A few tips for future travelers:
Things get dusty, and the rides can be bumpy—Jeep is absolutely worth it.
June weather was great but keep layers handy—it’s hot during the day and chilly at night.
Wear whatever you’re comfortable in; you don’t have to stick to only neutral colors.
There is a tipping culture in Kenya for guides and accomodation staff.

Very responsive, accommodating and heartwarming.
We had to make last-minute travel plans to Kenya and contacted Stephen with only one week left before our expected arrival.
He responded extremely quickly, secured accommodation at the peak of the Great Migration (n.b., they were all clean and well maintained), and planned our trip so we could fit in all our preferences (i.e., visit Amboseli, Naivasha, and Maasai Mara and do the boat safari and balloon safari — btw, this is a must-do activity which I strongly recommend). He even pushed back when we tried to remove Nakuru from the itinerary and insisted we visit — we ended up going and had an amazing experience seeing active lions up close and even white rhinos from a distance!! We were also lucky enough to see a group of flamingos too.
All this was possible because of our incredible guide/driver Tom. He always made us feel safe and was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. He was flexible on our requests to visit the Giraffe Centre when we were in Nairobi and always made sure we were happy. Our biggest highlight was being able to see the river crossing of wildebeests at Maasai Mara. Tom managed to pick a spot where we got a front-row view from his experience (he used to be stationed at Maasai Mara and knew the place inside out).
We were extremely happy with the services provided and strongly recommend this operator! Happy gaming!!
