An outstanding trip from start to finish.
5/5

Before our trip, Peter, who was responsible for planning and coordinating the itinerary, told us that this journey would be exceptional—and it truly was.

Peter is always quick to respond, patient, attentive, and highly professional. When our flight schedule changed during the trip, he promptly adjusted our itinerary and successfully secured reservations at all the hotels we had hoped to stay in.

Our guide, Songe, is the best. He is experienced, reliable, and knowledgeable. Every day, he arrived well in advance of our departure time and always kept the vehicle clean and comfortable. His excellent driving skills, deep understanding of the roads, and extensive knowledge of animal behavior made our safari experience truly memorable. Thanks to Songe, we were able to see large prides of lions, as well as rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and zebras passing right before our eyes. He also guided us to witness large predators feeding on their prey. Remarkable.

Overall, this was an outstanding trip from start to finish. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone planning a safari adventure.

An extremely professional driver‑guide good at spotting wildlife
5/5

I have just finished my unforgettable safari trip in Kenya, and I cannot help writing this sincere review to express my great gratitude to our driver‑guide Mr.Songe. This journey has become one of the most precious travel experiences I have ever had, all thanks to his outstanding professionalism.

First of all, I would like to speak highly of his great professionalism. Whether we were travelling on the long‑distance roads or staying inside the wildlife parks, he performed perfectly. He knew the whole reserve extremely well. With rich experience, he could efficiently locate different kinds of wild animals for us. Thanks to his sharp observation and deep knowledge of animal habits, we spotted plenty of wildlife that we hoped to see within a short time during our game‑viewing drives. Meanwhile, he drove safely and smoothly on rough country roads throughout the whole journey.

Besides his excellent wildlife‑finding skills, his tour service was absolutely impeccable and considerate all through the trip. He was always patient, warm‑hearted and responsible. He arranged our daily itinerary properly, reminded us of safety rules ahead of time, and tried his best to satisfy our reasonable demands. In addition, he introduced local culture as well as facts about wild animals, enriching our safari experience greatly.

Overall, this was a fantastic trip. I strongly recommend this travel agency and their well‑trained driver‑guides to anyone planning a visit to Kenya. I will recommend them to my relatives and friends without hesitation.

All you could have hoped for in an intense week of Safari
5/5

Travel dates: 15.-22.06.2026
Pax: 2
Driver / Guide: Sebastian
Hotels we stayed in:
Amboseli - Kibo camp 2 nights
Lake Naivasha - Sopa Resort 1 night
Lake Nakuru - Sarova Lion game hill 1 night
Maasai Mara - Sarova Mara Club suites 3 nights

Kibo Camp and Sarova Mara outstanding, Sopa resort ok, Sarova Lion Game hill is under construction and was a disappointment for us.

It was a well organized trip, Amboseli is great to start with, Lake Naivasha is best for bird spotters (which I am not), Lake Nakuru is small and beautiful and Maasai Mara is the absolute best!

We were very blessed to have Sebastian as our assigned guide and driver! He is smart, pleasant, experienced and absolutely customer-focused! If you can, make sure to have him as your guide. We have met other guests and their drivers and were so lucky! Sebastian always knew where to go, fought for the best spot around a picture-worthy location, rearranged the car and made it an unforgettable experience for my sister and I.
The food was good throughout, the choices are plenty and suitable for all preferences. The packed lunches are simple but enough to keep you going when you’re out for a full days game drive.
If you need the loo, find a tree or use the washrooms in the parks if you are nearby.
Pack max. 50% of what you plan to bring, you won’t need it.
Mornings and evenings can be chilly - a jumper is recommended.
Bring a UK adapter and a powerbank, mosquito spray comes in handy at night.
We had an e Sim which worked well (Holafly).
We didn’t bring any US dollars but drew Kenya Shilling from ATMs.
Overall we were very happy with our operator Steve, who organized the trip for us. Very friendly, always responsive and also helpful when we had a few issues with the Sarova Lion Hill hotel.
We booked the private tour, so only my sister and I in the car, which was lovely.
Would definitely recommend to book here - we had no major issues at all!

Very good operator
5/5

We highly recommend Peak Season Africas Safari, and especially Japheth, our guide throughout the safari. We had six extraordinary days exploring Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru, and the Masai Mara.
Japheth proved to be an exceptional guide: attentive, passionate, and always dedicated to providing us with the best possible experience. His driving was safe, and his vast knowledge of wildlife allowed us to observe numerous animals while learning a great deal about their behavior and environment.
Regarding the safari organization, we communicated with Steven, who was extremely responsive and reassuring at every stage of the planning process. His availability and professionalism greatly contributed to the success of our trip. We leave Kenya with hearts full of unforgettable memories thanks to these six days of safari.

Very good value for money, especially considering we were there during the off-season.

Enjoyable safari, but there was a clear gap between promises and reality.
3/5

Overall, we had a great safari experience and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We had some incredible wildlife sightings, the lodges were excellent, and our guide, Denis, was knowledgeable and made sure we had a memorable time. However, there were a few very noticeable issues that did not match the expectations set during the booking process.

1. Airport transfer vehicle: The vehicle provided for the airport-to-hotel transfer was far below the standard expected. It was a small car with very limited space for passengers and luggage.

2. Safari vehicle: The safari vehicle provided was completely different from what was shown during the booking process. The advertised Land Cruiser had proper seat covers, a dedicated fridge, charging ports, and much better interiors. Since we spent most of our safari inside the vehicle, this was not a minor difference—it had a significant impact on our overall experience. If a different vehicle is going to be provided, it should be communicated honestly instead of showing a better one during booking.

3. Guide experience: Denis was a good guide and did his job well. However, we were specifically promised a guide with over 10 years of experience, and that commitment was not fulfilled.

4. Itinerary: The itinerary seemed unnecessarily rushed just to make the package look more attractive. Early morning game drives were scheduled in both Amboseli and Lake Nakuru, but we deliberately skipped both because they would have left us exhausted with virtually no time to rest. We would have preferred a more realistic and balanced itinerary rather than one packed with activities that we ultimately had to skip.

5. Lunch on the return journey: The lunch stop on the way back to Nairobi was simply pathetic and nowhere near the standard of the rest of the trip. It was a disappointing way to end an otherwise enjoyable safari.

An unforgettable and awesome experience
5/5

Our safari in Kenya, visiting four different national parks, was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Steve planned everything perfectly and organized an unforgettable Safari experience.

Also a huge part of that awesome experience was thanks to our driver and guide, Sebastian.

His incredible experience, deep knowledge of wildlife, and exceptional ability to spot animals made every game drive exciting. Time and again, Sebastian found animals that we would never have noticed ourselves—and sometimes even before other guides had seen them. Thanks to his sharp eye, we were able to witness countless amazing moments in nature.

What made the experience even better was his talent for positioning the vehicle perfectly. Sebastian always seemed to know the best angle for viewing and photographing wildlife, allowing us to take fantastic pictures while fully enjoying every encounter.

Throughout the entire safari, we felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. His professionalism, patience, and passion for his work were evident every single day and truly elevated our trip from great to exceptional.

Thank you, Sebastian, for making this safari such a unique and memorable adventure. Your dedication and expertise are deeply appreciated. We would return anytime for another safari in Kenya—as long as you are our driver and guide
