An unforgettable safari with incredible wildlife
We had the most amazing two-day safari with Plex Safari and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We saw so many incredible animals and the whole trip was truly unforgettable. The sunset river cruise was also fantastic and a wonderful added touch.
A special mention must go to our guide, Joseph, who was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire experience even more special. His knowledge of the wildlife and his ability to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout were exceptional. He really went above and beyond to make our safari memorable and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide.
Thank you Joseph for such an incredible experience and thank you Plex Safari for organising such a fantastic trip. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly memorable safari.

Kilian and Charles were great, they explained a lot and really fun.
Communication via WhatsApp was easy, when there were issues they found a Solution. Overall I had a really great time and saw a lot of animals. I would recommend a Tour with Plex Africa Safaris, especially with Kilian and Charles.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience, well worth the money and effort!
The game drives were incredible. We saw nearly every animal we could have hoped for, including a leopard. Our guides, Chenga and Witness, were amazing throughout the trip. They were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive, always looking out for us, helping whenever needed, and keeping an eye out for the next wildlife sighting. They really made the experience something special.
We managed to see ALL the animals var the Wild Dog!
The boat safari was a pleasant addition, offering a different perspective on the wildlife, although the game drives were definitely the highlight.
Only downside was that the hotel accommodations weren't up to standard. Although the staff was accommodating, the floor in the room wasn't clean and we had to use shoes or slippers, and the water was very "rusty" so sleeping and washing our hands wasn't fully comfortable.
Overall, the safari and our guides deserve a perfect score. Despite the accommodation leaving something to be desired, I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Plex Safaris Tanzania!
We had the most incredible safari experience with Plex Safaris Tanzania and honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough! We were lucky enough to see every animal we had hoped for, including the most amazing sighting of a leopard. It was truly an experience we will never forget.
A huge thank you to Shukran, our guide, who was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge of the wildlife and the park was incredible, but what really amazed us was his ability to spot animals hidden deep in the bush that we would never have seen ourselves! He genuinely seemed to have super-powered eyesight. His passion, expertise and enthusiasm made the whole experience even more special, and we learnt so much from him.
Shaban, our driver, was equally fantastic. He was so kind, welcoming and professional, and clearly knew the park inside out. His love and respect for the animals were so evident, and it was wonderful to see how much he genuinely cared about the wildlife and sharing this incredible environment with us.
Both Shukran and Shaban went above and beyond to make our safari special. Their combined knowledge, skills and passion made all the difference, and we felt incredibly lucky to have them looking after us.
If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, we would wholeheartedly recommend Plex Safaris. The experience exceeded all our expectations, and the memories we’ve made will stay with us forever.

Where do we even begin? These were two of the most incredible days of our lives, and we honestly couldn't have wished for a better experience. If you're considering booking a safari with Plex Africa Safaris, DO IT! And most importantly: Ask for Kilian as your guide and Charles as your driver. Trust us, you couldn't be in better hands!
From our very first contact with Plex Africa Safaris, everything was absolutely flawless. Communication was incredibly fast, professional and friendly, and even our special request for a German-speaking guide was accommodated without any problems.
Our adventure started at 4 AM with a perfectly punctual pickup from our rather hidden hotel in Zanzibar. The friendly transfer team helped with our luggage, safely drove us to the airport and made sure we knew exactly where to go. After an exciting flight in a tiny 14-seater aircraft to mainland Tanzania, we were warmly welcomed by Kilian and Charles – and that's when the real magic began!
From the very first moment, these two were simply AMAZING.
Charles is an absolutely outstanding safari driver! Always alert, incredibly attentive and with an amazing instinct for finding wildlife. He knew exactly where to go, when to stop and how to position the jeep for the best possible views. Thanks to his experience and excellent communication with other drivers, we had countless breathtaking wildlife encounters.
And Kilian – what an incredible guide and wonderful person! His knowledge of wildlife, plants, animal behavior and the fascinating connections within nature was truly impressive. He explained everything with so much passion and enthusiasm and always had an answer to every single question we asked. He didn't just show us animals – he helped us truly understand and appreciate the incredible world around us.
Together, Kilian and Charles are an unbeatable dream team! Their teamwork was absolutely perfect, and their warmth, dedication and genuine enthusiasm made every single moment special.
We explored the breathtaking landscapes of Nyerere National Park, from dense bushland to endless open plains, rivers and lakes. The diversity was incredible! And the best part? The park was wonderfully peaceful and never felt overcrowded. Even during an extraordinary leopard sighting, there were only four safari jeeps around!
And the wildlife? Absolutely spectacular! We saw lions, a leopard, elephants, giraffes, zebras, African wild dogs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs, baboons, impalas and countless beautiful birds – and probably many more animals we've already forgotten to mention!
Everything was perfectly organized, including the food. Delicious breakfast snacks, fantastic coffee (honestly the best coffee of our entire holiday!), wonderful hot lunches and cold drinks throughout the day. We couldn't have asked for more.
After our first exciting day, Kilian and Charles brought us to our beautiful lodge. Our room was incredibly spacious, spotless and comfortable, with a private veranda. We enjoyed a delicious three-course dinner served right on our veranda, and the lodge even had a swimming pool. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. We felt completely at home and had absolutely nothing to complain about.
The next morning, after a wonderful night's sleep, our adventure continued at 6 AM with a fantastic boat safari. We observed hippos, crocodiles and numerous bird species along the riverbanks, accompanied by another excellent guide who shared fascinating information with us. Afterwards, we continued our game drive with Kilian and Charles, discovering even more wildlife and enjoying every single moment.
After another relaxing night, Kilian and Charles personally took us back to the airport. And this is where things became emotional.
Saying goodbye to these two wonderful people was genuinely difficult. In just two days, they had given us so many unforgettable memories and made us feel so welcome, comfortable and cared for. They were so much more than just our guide and driver.
Back in Zanzibar, our transfer team was already waiting with our luggage and safely brought us back to our hotel. Once again, everything worked perfectly from beginning to end.
We cannot recommend Plex Africa Safaris highly enough. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism and genuine hospitality. We felt completely safe, relaxed and perfectly looked after throughout the entire experience.
And to everyone reading this review: PLEASE ask for Kilian and Charles when booking your safari! We truly believe these two made all the difference. Their knowledge, dedication, kindness and incredible teamwork turned an already amazing safari into something we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
If we ever return to Tanzania for another safari, there is absolutely no question who we will book with – and who we would want by our side again.

An amazing day
The guide, Sebastien, welcomed us at the airfield strip and gave us a great day. He proved to be very knowledge and great English.
We saw many animals, lions, elephants, hyppos, giraffes, zebras, gnus, and others. We managed to get best pictures. Even saw an elephant family taking a bath in a pond.
There was a lunch at an hotel close to the air stripe, included in the tour, and was very welcome.
The tour services only ended after making sure we boarded the plane safe and sound.
