Swift, responsive and effective
We were wary about visiting Africa for the first time. We were not familiar at all with the region and thanks to Phinora everything went perfectly. We had zero setbacks on our trip.
She made sure we always had a guide available, she was always available to clarify questions we had throughout the trip.
We told Phinora what we were looking for in our vacation and she provided great ideas. All accommodations, commutes, guides, even food was greatly planned.
Thanks to that the trip went smoothly and we had an amazing experience.

Phinorah took care of every single detail of our journey, transforming it into an experience we will never forget. She truly understood our wishes and needs, going far beyond the expectations of her role. Thanks to her, we didn’t just see Kenya – we lived it from the inside.
The tour itself: We had the chance to explore five incredible natural areas – Naivasha, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Amboseli, and Tsavo East – some of which are far apart and connected by roads that can be rough or unpaved. It’s worth noting that many bookings are made up to a year in advance (which wasn’t possible for us), so hotel availability can be limited.
Our safari was done in a van with a pop-up roof. Pros: Traveling slowly through the parks gave us more time to spot and enjoy the wildlife (while jeeps often rush by). Cons: Jeeps can access areas that vans cannot. In addition, our van, though very well maintained and mechanically sound, was quite old and not the most comfortable for long distances

Reliable, trustful and efficient
We had Rochar organised our whole trip based on our requirements such as travelling days, our focus etc. we had great experience and our driver and tour guide were amazing (Dan and Symon). The only thing I might change for my itinerary would be finding an accommodation inside or closer to Amboseli National Park, and I might stay a few nights more in Masai Mara instead of traveling to Tsavo, bit too long way, I would split the trip to Tsavo for another seperate south area trip which can include Mombasa. But overall my family and I really enjoyed Rochar’s trip plan. Also they are very easy to approach to assist us when needed during the trip.
9 incredible Safari days in Kenya for the all family
9 days of great Safari for our family with 6 boys. Phinorah helped to organise the right tour with the good level of accommodation. Thanks for her patience, her availability, good advices and understanding of our needs and expectations. We also had with David, the best guide for our family: friendly with the Safari boys, very knowledgeable about the animals and the country, always able to find the hunting Cheetah or Lions and the Leopards, or organise a soccer game with Masai.
Every one of us really enjoyed the trip! It was a great way to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Thank you

Jonathan is the best Safari guide in Kenya!
Rochar did and excellent job of customizing a 5 day private safari for our 50th wedding anniversary. Experienced with Kenya group safaris, we were looking for a unique experience with an excellent trained and personable guide. We could not have been happier than we were with Jonathan, who group up on the Maasai Mara, attended guide school and clearly has a passion for the land and animals, his tribal heritage and his growing family. With many prior safaris previously, we expecially appreciated that he could easily see and identify the most obscurely hidden animal, plant or bird, providing the characteristics my bird-loving husband especially enjoyed. Without great effort he found all the big animals but had the patience to let us just sit quietly watching even smaller animals or listening to the wind througout the 4 parks we visited. The 5 days will never be forgotten as our best safari ever. The Rochar Office Staff planner provided excellent communication and rapid response. Outstanding Safari experience with excellent tour operator.
Rochar Africa made our trip so easy and stress-free. They arranged everything, hotel, safari, and even a special dinner in Nairobi. Communication was excellent; it was always easy to reach Phinorah, who responded quickly and kindly to any questions or concerns. Our safari guide Jonathan was outstanding, knowledgeable, reliable, and a great driver. He was such a great driver that other tour guide asked him for helps when their cars were stuck in the mud. He went above and beyond, even surprising us with roasted corn along the road on our way back, which was such a special touch. This was truly the best experience ever. If I return to Kenya for safari, I will definitely book again with Rochar Africa.
