Dan was flexible, knowledgeable, personable (knew everyone in the space), and overall fantastic!
Would definitely recommend Ways of Africa to other travelers! We appreciated Janet meeting us at our hotel and our gift bags. They worked to change our itinerary on one day's notice and it ended up being a much better logistical set-up. We were able to customize excursions based on our preferences and have everything booked prior to arrival. Communication leading up the trip was OK (there was one hotel that was not responsive and delayed our final itinerary but mostly out of Ways of Africa's control), but the value is really when you arrive. Our guide Dan was excellent and one of the highlights of our trip. We saw lots of wildlife having a private jeep that was flexible to our schedules was greatly appreciated. You will not be disappointed when you arrive with Ways of Africa, truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Best value for your money!
We had a wonderful Safari experience in Kenya - thanks to 'Ways of Africa'. Our tour covered Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara over 6 days. The arrangements made by Paul Sanare were impeccable and we had a very comfortable trip, despite the hectic schedule. We picked the mid-level tour package, but it felt like a luxury tour. Starting with the personal greeting by Paul and his wife Janet in Nairobi to the warm sendoff over dinner at the end of the trip, we couldn't have asked for more.
A special shout-out to our tour guide and driver, Paul Kimane. He was friendly, courteous and flexible to our schedule. His experience helped us enjoy the safari at each of the parks and we are elated for the full safari experience we had. Not only did we get to see all the wild life listed in brochures, we even got to see a lion hunt as well as a cheetah hunt in action! The wilderbeast migration and river crossing was another highlight.
We would highly recommend booking your tour with Ways of Africa - your perfect hosts in Kenya and Tanzania. I believe they are expanding to neighboring countries as well - watch out for them there as well.

Incredible experience, everything I'd hoped for.
I had an excellent time on my solo safari with Ways of Africa. Making the initial arrangements for the trip was very easy, and Paul was readily available to answer any questions I had and make changes to the planned itinerary as needed. Once I arrived in Kenya, they made sure I knew where to go, and communication was very clear at every point in the trip. The safari itself was fantastic; my guides Paul and Parsaloi were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions I had. During the game drives, they were constantly in touch with other drivers to know where the best animal sightings were, and as a result I got to see some truly incredible sights, including a lion kill, elephants crossing the road by our vehicle, and rhinos right outside the car window. They were also very responsive to my interests when I wanted to pause to look closer at a particular animal or take a photo. During the trip, I was further able to easily customize my itinerary, including adding on a balloon safari in Masai Mara and, upon arriving in Nairobi on the last day and still having hours before my flight, visiting the Giraffe Centre. Additionally, the lodgings were great with a lot of amenities, and the trip as a whole was a great value for the cost. Overall an A+ experience.

Excellent safari, professional and v experienced
I compared a few quotes when deciding where to go on safari, Ways of Africa stood out as more well-organized and better value for money than the other providers. We booked a mid-range safari with private game drives. Janet was very easy to communicate with and all arrangements worked without a hitch. Our guide Paul was excellent, taking great care of us and making sure we had a great experience.
We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, seeing all of the big five, all kinds of wildlife, and Mt Kilimanjaro. Truly a trip of a lifetime experience!

Dream trip with the most organised tour operator
When I Selected Ways of Africa as our 10 days trip to Kenya one year back, I had no Idea about their service . I selected manly for nice itinerary with a reasonable cost.
But when the time came, I realised I selected one of the best one.
Got a big car at Nairobi airport, checked in our hotel, where Paul, the owner was waiting. He explained the trip and handed over nice gift pack, containing water bottle, hat, a blanket etc. Unfortunately,on the day of travelling to Masaimara, there was some protests and Paul rightly suggested to had an early start at 2-30am.
Our driver cum guide came before 2-30am and we crossed Nairobi before morning and faced to issue.
The safari zeep was very good, there was some minor roof auto closing issue, but otherwise the car was very healthy. It crossed many uneven pathways, waded through water during jungle safaries and never had an issue.
The gem of the trip was Mr Khan, who drove us many miles very safely. He had an immense knowledge on animals, birds, roads and many more.
We travelled in safari geep for 8 days including 3 days in Masaimara, 1 day eachin Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha,2 days in Amboseli park and one day return to airport.
We have seen all the animals except Leopard. We witnessed Lion on 4 days, Cheetah for 2 days, many elephants, Raino, Topic, many birds and many more, much better then expectations.
The hotels as selected by ways of Africa were very good with good and tasty foods, which were all inclusive.
Overall, it was one of the best trip in my life.

Perfectly Safari
It was my amazing 7 days visit of Kenya and perfectly managed by WOA. Mr Paul who has made my itinerary so perfect and always there for me to assist during my entire stay in Kenya. I would like to mention Mr James here who was my guide and driver through out my all safaries. He is so brilliant on his job that he made me see all the best shots of my Safari. James is so humble and friendly and have full knowledge of all the routes and tracks of all the jungles which includes Mara, Nakuru & Ambasoli. Best choice for our honeymoon
From the moment we started planning our trip, communication with Paul was incredibly smooth. He was very attentive to every detail, from itinerary adjustments and recommendations to finer aspects of our trip. We communicated via email and WhatsApp, and his responses were always prompt and direct, which we really appreciated.
After arriving at the airport and transferring to our hotel, we met Paul for a full briefing before starting our journey. The accommodations he recommended in Amboseli, Naivasha, and Maasai Mara were absolutely fantastic—I would give them 11 out of 10!
I also have to mention our guides (now our brothers), Collins and Peter. They were true safari experts and helped us see all the animals we wanted to spot. Thanks to them, our trip was truly unforgettable. We were so satisfied with this experience that my wife and I promised to return in 10–15 years with our future children.
