Excellent
As a solo traveler Magwar Escapades went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect to my comfort. The driver, Kennedy and Ephie who helped me in consultations were of importance. I was able to see the “Big 5” and everything else I dreamt of. The up close experience was surreal. Adding the hot air balloon took the adventure to another level. I did the 6 day tour, stayed in midrange accommodations, and visited most of the reserves/parks in Kenya. I wish I would have added on Tanzania. Reliable and Experienced Tour Operator
A friend of mine and I booked a safari tour to Masai Mara through Magwar Escapades Ltd at the last minute, just in the late afternoon the day before the safari trip began the following morning. We found this tour operator through internet searching and decided to book through them after reading good reviews from fellow travelers. Like those reviews, we were satisfied with their service and professionalism.
We traveled in a 4WD open-rooftop Land Cruiser jeep with 5 other travelers, so there were 7 travelers altogether plus a driver named James. We were picked from Nairobi town where we were advised earlier to be the meeting point.
The safari tour itself was awesome and exciting. James, our driver, is a very nice person, friendly, and patient. He is an experienced and safe driver. He is also very informative and knowledgeable about animals found in the Masai Mara National Reserve. He explained to us characteristics of the animals and how to differentiate male and female giraffes or zebras, for instance. He also understands that we, travelers, would be excited if we could be as close as possible to the animals. He managed to get our jeep stop so close to the animals, the closest among other vehicles doing the same safari trip.
As this was my first safari trip, I found it very interesting and exciting. We were also blessed with good weather when we were there doing the safari trip. We had bright and sunny days the whole three days with only small showers in the evening that did not last long.
In sum, we had a good time in Masai Mara and enjoyed the safari trip that we had with Magwar Escapades. We would certainly recommend this tour operator to you who want to experience the safari trip.

Unforgettable and good customer care
I and my sisters took a safari with Magwar Escapades in March and we had an amazing experience! Our guide Moses was so kind and comical that we enjoyed every bit of the safari. We saw all the big five and several other animals.
The food and the accomodations were top notch! Ephie who helped plan the safari was always responsive and swift. She incorporated our ideas in planning and executing our safari. Thank you so much Team Magwar Escapades, you are the best! I would highly Recommend you.

A memorable safari with Magwar escapades
Itinerary was well organized. Nonstop game drive the tour guide/driver made sure we all got the information about the wilds and able to see the Big 5. We witnessed the incredible wildebeest migration. Masai Mara River was magical, the tour was the lifetime dream. I would highly recommend Magwar Escapades

It was excellent
Booked this safari early August and it was my first safari. Ephie was amazing from start of the safari to the end. She answered my questions right away and they were very informative.

It was enjoyable and I had good experience
I booked this safari last minute. And as this was my first safari, I felt I wasn’t sure I knew what I was doing. Ephie was amazing from start to finish. He answered all my questions right away.

Reasonably priced, Experienced and great communication
My family enjoyed a great few days in Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara. Daniel, our guide was very knowledgeable and we saw loads of animals. Communication with Ephie beforehand was great - eye responsive and polite. Good value too. I Highly recommend Magwar Escapades!.

Best Tour, Best Choice
Magwar Escapades helped us plan as well as execute our family trip.
Right from the onset they were very proactive in communication and in planning which helped us customize our itinerary exactly how we wanted it.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we were met at the arrivals by our guide Joe who accompanied us throughout and helped us navigate through the itinerary with patience, knowledge and humour.
We spotted the Big 5 multiple times across Masai Maara, Amboseli as well as a sea of Flamingos in Nakuru.
The Camps/Lodges recommended for stay by Magwar Escapades were very luxurious and well equipped to handle any request. Overall a very satisfying trip.
