Operator that delivers personalized, unforgettable experiences with passionate local guides
5/5

We had an outstanding experience with Savannah Adventures during our stay in Victoria Falls. Conveniently based at the N1 Hotel, where we were staying, they made organizing our activities and airport transfers seamless and stress-free.

We booked all our excursions through them (extended private 1-day Chobe safari + Quadripoint, Livingstone +Mukumi village, airport transfers), and every detail was handled with professionalism and care. The absolute highlight was our extended private Chobe safari—yes, it’s on the pricier side, but worth every penny. From start to finish, the day was unforgettable.

Our driver Eddie got us to the border smoothly, and then Richard, our safari guide, took over with incredible energy and expertise. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw as many animals as possible, and his passion for the bush truly made our first safari magical. KK led the water safari portion with equal enthusiasm, rounding out a day that felt both adventurous and personal.

Savannah Adventures combines local knowledge with top-tier service. If you’re visiting Victoria Falls and want a hassle-free, memorable safari experience, this is the team to trust.

Chobe River Safari: Super convenient booking, excellent service, enjoyable game viewing
5/5

We booked a 1/2 day river Chobe River safari via Savannah Adventures. The booking was made barely 2 days before the trip and we were not sure whether we would be able to get the safari in. Savvanah's team was great in terms of coordinating the booking and making sure we got to go.

On the morning of our safari, we were picked up by Taf from our hotel in Victoria Falls on time in a clean and comfortable van and driven to the Botswana border, where Taf helped us with immigration formalities and then to find our transport to Chobe River. Our boat driver and guide, Mike, was very friendly and super knowledgeable and helped us see hippos, elephants, buffalos and other game and birds. We had an especially memorable elephant sighting with a herd of more than 50 elephants barely 50 feet from our boat.

The ride back was on time, quick and comfortable and we were left with several hours of sunlight to enjoy other activities in Victoria Falls.

Since we had a few clothes and shoes to donate to a local orphanage that Savannah Adventures supports in Victoria Falls, one of their team came to pick us up the next morning so we could go visit the children staying there and give them the items we had with us. This added experience was invaluable for us.

Many thanks Matthias and Taf for making our time in Victoria Falls so much richer.

overall great experience
5/5

We can absolutely recommend this safari with Mthabisi; a sustainable, heartfelt and unforgettable experience! we were staying at the Jollyboys Hostel in Livingstone, Zambia, and spontaneously decided to do another safari in Zimbabwe. That's how we came across this company, and it was a fantastic decision! We contacted them via WhatsApp; we found their number on their website. It was straightforward, and the staff were very helpful. Payment was also seamless. Crossing the border was easy, and from the border crossing, it was just a short walk to the N1 Hotel, where our afternoon safari began.

The tour took place in Zambezi National Park and was an absolute highlight of our trip. Our tour guide, Mthabisi, was incredibly friendly and helpful, explaining a lot to us and making sure we saw as many animals as possible.

We especially appreciated that the animals were treated with great respect and not disturbed unnecessarily. The denser bushes at the moment meant we had to look a little more carefully, but that's precisely what made the safari so authentic. The scenery was breathtaking, and we still saw a huge number of animals!

At the end, they even drove us back to the border, which was a really great and helpful service.
