To our wonderful cook, Bariki — thank you for preparing such delicious, hot meals every day, even with such limited resources. After hours of climbing, sitting down to a warm and delicious meal was something we looked forward to every day. Your hard work truly kept us going. Cha Ku nee Kee ta mou!
And to our 22 amazing porters — I don't even have enough words to express my gratitude. Without you, we could not have done this. Each of you carried incredibly heavy loads, some up to 30 kg, and somehow you still managed to climb ahead of us, set up our tents, prepare everything, and have our meals ready when we arrived. The strength, dedication, and hard work you put in every single day were beyond my comprehension.
You carried much more than our belongings — you carried a huge part of our dream of reaching the summit.

I had an excellent experience with this safari tour company. They were incredibly professional, consistently prompt in their responses, and very accommodative when we requested an additional stop during our itinerary. 10/10 safari and beach honeymoon!!
We had an amazing 10 day honeymoon with Loren African Safaris! It was a 6 day safari and 4 days in Zanzibar. Loren gave us the best quote with an amazing itinerary. Booking and communication was super easy and Loren was always reachable via WhatsApp if we had any questions leading up to the trip and during. We loved every moment of the safari and appreciated our guide, Ally, so much! He was amazing and knowledgeable about the areas and animals. We also had a great time having lunch with him every day and getting to know more about him. We miss you Ally!!!!!
Some highlights were getting to see a female lion dragging food back to her babies in the Serengeti, a sleepy lion in a tree in Tarangire and seeing a group of white rhinos in the ngorongoro crater. We also LOVED the hot air balloon ride and breakfast. Our favorite accommodation was at the Tukaone camps and hearing lions and hyenas at night!! Everything was so cool and it was truly a special experience that was catered to me & my husbands needs in an authentic way. Zanzibar was the best way to wrap up a packed safari and we enjoyed going to stone town and seeing the giant tortoises on Prison Island. I hope to go again some day!! I highly recommend Loren African Safaris to everyone!

We had a great 6 day safari with Mark as our driver. We were able to customize the trip to our specific needs and we did in fact see the Big 5 within the first 5 days! No unexpected fees besides the tips and we were very glad we went with a local company.

Our safari with Loren Safaris was truly amazing! We did an 8 day safari through the Masai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania. Loren worked with us from the beginning in a timely and professional manner to design a safari itinerary that was perfect and accommodating for us. The vehicles were very clean and comfortable for the safari. Our guides Ally and Aron were excellent, with lots of experience and great eyes for spotting wildlife! I would highly recommend booking with this Tanzanian-owned and operated safari company. I would also recommend requesting Ally or Aron as your guide!

Amazing guy- knowledgeable & great communication!
WOW. We have been on 4 safaris previously but this one takes the cake! From start to finish Ben and colleague Ally were truly amazing. Ben, the owner, was so attentive from the moment I emailed him a year in advance! His communication was spot on. After my initial inquiry Ben sent me a phenomenal itinerary and guide with everything I needed to know. I was able to adjust the itinerary to our needs and what we wanted. He had plenty of options and we went with mid-range which was perfect for my family of 3! Everything was taken care of from airport pickup at the beginning to airport drop off at the end! Ben arranged all accommodation and everything that went with it. Every meal was taken care of, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Ben & Ally were both so great and patient with my family including my 5 year old daughter! The safari itself was truly unparalleled, the sightings were so amazing. Both Ben & Ally were so knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we had. Truly this was one of the best trips of my life and it was so nice because I didn’t have to plan any of it! Ben took care of it all. I would highly recommend Loren African Safari to anyone (including families with kids!) for a safari in Tanzania. We will be talking about this trip for years to come!

Our safari with Loren Africa Safari was an unforgettable experience, and I can confidently say it would have been impossible to fulfill our dreams without their expert guidance. Every part of our itinerary was executed flawlessly, making each day seamless and enjoyable. Every game drive was thrilling, and our guide, Ally, was exceptional—his knowledge and mastery of the routes made us feel completely safe and engaged throughout the safari. We ended up with an 8-day itinerary with Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar All are worth it, unique in their own way.
We saw things we never would have noticed on our own— lion, Cheetah, leopards, Buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, rare birds, all the characters of 'lion king', all thanks to his deep knowledge. We also spotted the rhino, all thanks to Ally's observation one of the 74 rhinos in the whole of Ngorongoro! Thanks to Ally's effort, we were able to witness the Big Five in the wild—truly a highlight of our trip.
We were like a family which added a personal touch to the experience. It is rare to find someone so consistently punctual, honest, and polite. He was always there with a smile before our scheduled departure, and his integrity made us feel at ease throughout the journey. Ally also took care of my parents, who have limited mobility, ensuring we could enjoy the trip without any worries. The team took meticulous care of our food and accommodation, ensuring our comfort at all times. Their polite and kind behavior stood out, and they even assisted us seamlessly during a flight delay, removing any stress from our journey.
After the safari, we extended our trip to Zanzibar and Benjamin organized everything perfectly—from accommodations and transfers to planning activities. Loren African Safaris delivered exactly what they promised.

Best photography trip ever
Excellent trip. I went for a photography trip and had the best time. My guide, Toshi, was the best. I've done Kenya and had 3 different guides, Toshi was the best one I had as a photography focused traveler. He is a birder and does photography too so he really helped get me into the best positions and see the best behaviors. I saw two hunts (one successful), three babies, one birth, all the cats, lions fighting, leopard with prey, so much more. If you go, I highly recommend the modified photography truck.

* Expert Spotting Skills: Our guide had a legendary "eagle eye." We saw things we never would have noticed on our own—camouflaged leopards, distant prides, and rare birds—all thanks to his deep knowledge of the terrain and animal behavior. We also spotted the black rhino, an endangered species, all thanks to Ally's observation amidst a hundred zebras surrounding one of the 74 rhinos in the whole of Serengeti!
* Safety & Comfort: Driving conditions in the bush can be challenging, but we always felt completely secure. He was an exceptionally skilled driver—smooth, steady, and mindful of our comfort over every bump, not only in the jungles but also across towns and main roads.
* Professionalism & Character: It is rare to find someone so consistently punctual, honest, and polite. He was always there with a smile before our scheduled departure, and his integrity made us feel at ease throughout the journey. A good conversationalist, Ally made it easier for us to enjoy his company on everyday matters as well as our many questions which he answered very patiently.
* The "Extra Mile": He didn't just drive us from point A to point B; he anticipated our needs. Whether it was finding the perfect shade for a bush lunch or adjusting the itinerary to ensure we were in the best position for a sighting, his dedication to our experience was unmatched.
