Thoughtful, attentive, and highly experienced.
Going on an African safari has been a dream of mine since childhood. I did a lot of research beforehand and felt quite nervous before the trip. Thank you to Loren African Safari, especially my guide Gela, for helping me realize this dream so perfectly. Gela is highly experienced and very knowledgeable about wildlife, especially birds. As a new birdwatching enthusiast, I was amazed at how he helped me spot a wide variety of bird species, which made the entire journey even more enjoyable and fascinating.
Even after returning to China, I am still reliving those unforgettable days. This has been one of the most beautiful memories of my life. I will never forget you. And please continue to make good use of “my bird book” — greetings from Elsa.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! Better than we could have hoped for.
Our trip was 10x better than we could have ever imagined. Do yourself a favor, and book with Loren's safari's and just go to Tanzania! We compared tours, agenda's prices to a bunch of places and it's all competitive. There is true magic in Tanzania....
Planning was a breeze with Ben's quick responses and willingness to work at late hours to accommodate US time zones. We ended up with an 8 day itinerary with Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Ndutu. All are worth it, unique in their own way.
Our guide, Simon, aka 'Safari Monster' was a ROCKSTAR and the reason our trip was such a success!!! A good guide makes or breaks a trip like this. He is very experienced (8+years guiding and driving--not all drivers are guides and vice versa). He not only was able to find us all the animals and views and special spots, he is also a fantastic driver and person. His car was in excellent shape and was able to withstand the bumpy roads and muddy holes that are inevitable parts of this journey.
Thank you so much for an amazing trip Simon. We hope to return again one day soon!

Unforgettable 10-Day Safari Experience - We Saw the Big Five and More!
My family and I just completed an incredible 10-day northern Tanzania safari with Loren African Safaris, and it was truly a trip of a lifetime!
A huge shoutout to our amazing guides, Ali and Simon. They were exceptionally professional, responsible, and had an eagle eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, we successfully checked off the Big Five!
The wildlife sightings were beyond our expectations:
Action-packed Moments: We were thrilled to witness lions, cheetahs, and even a leopard in the middle of a hunt – a rare and breathtaking sight!
Ndutu Calving Season: Visiting Ndutu during the calving season was magical. We saw countless wildebeest calves, zebra foals, and even adorable lion cubs. It was heartwarming to see so much new life on the plains.
Ngorongoro Crater: The crater floor was teeming with animals. We were lucky enough to see the rare black rhino and witnessed an intense standoff between a pride of lions and a group of spotted hyenas.
The entire itinerary was well-planned, from the baobabs of Tarangire to the endless plains of the Serengeti. The accommodations recommended by the team were top-notch and offered stunning views.

An Unforgettable 9 Days with Loren African Safari – Above and Beyond!
We just completed a 9 day trip with Loren African Safaris and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
Mr. Loren was incredibly helpful during the booking process, he answered every single question we had and his response time was never beyond 10 minutes. This made organizing everything super easy and stress-free.
Everything went exactly as planned, but what really stood out was how far they went to help when one of our bags got misplaced by the airline. We had already started the safari, and Mr. Loren personally drove from Arusha all the way to Tarangire just to deliver the bag to us the next day. That kind of service really blew us away.
Our guide, Ally, was amazing too. He was always early, knew the savannah inside out, and made sure we got the perfect view of the animals in action. He drove us for the game drives tirelessly, sometimes for up to 12 hours, and always made sure we were comfortable, and had the best spot to watch the animals. He also made sure our dietary needs were communicated to the lodges. On top of all that, he helped organize a surprise birthday celebration during the trip, which honestly became one of the highlights.
Overall, it was a memorable experience. Huge thanks to the whole Loren African Safaris team!

Holiday of a Lifetime
My wife and I booked a safari and beach holiday through Loren. We brought our 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter. The whole trip really was an incedible experience and Loren made the whole holiday run so smoothly. He put togther a really tailer made trip for us. Offering a rang of budget to mid to high range options we could then choose according to our budget.
The safari itself was a wonderfull experience. Ally, our guide, picked us up from our hotel in a jeep decked out for safari trips. Individual seats in the back, roof that opened up for viewing the wildlife all the better. We all loved him straight away. He was really great with the kids and helped us recover a lost bag in the airport on the way to the first park. Nothing was too much hassle for him. He was also a really safe driver which was important for us with young kids. He was also a very skilled off road driver too which is also pretty important when your driving around the parks.
We did a 4 day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro conservation area. We saw the big 5 and much more. Ally was very good at spotting animals and seemed to have a nack for parking in the perfect spot. A pride of lions walked right across the front of our jeep one day which was really something.
The food on the safari is really worth noting. It was traditional Tanazanian food and some of the nicest food I ate on the trip. There was no shortage of drinks in the jeep and wine to enjoy with our lunch.
We really enjoyed the trip. I would highly recommend Loren for a safari tour. I would also recommend using Loren for arranging your trip to Zanzibar. He had everything organised so seemlessly and it's nice to know he's there for you if you have any issues along the way.

A memorable safari!
I’m writing this just after finishing our safari, tired but happy after a beautiful experience in Tarangire, Ndutu, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. From the day we first contacted Loren, we were met with friendliness and professionalism; Loren answered all our questions very quickly to make sure we were booking the right safari. Our guide, Ally, was equally good. He had studied wildlife management and so had plenty of facts about all the parks and animals, and he was very good at spotting them from a distance. It was clear that he really wanted to give us a good experience - and he did! The highlight of the trip by far was seeing a cheetah hunt, but we also saw all of the big 5, plus many many other animals. Each park has very different landscapes and animals so each day was unique, but Ndutu was particularly special and where we saw the most animals. Thank you to Loren and Ally for a wonderful trip!

Wonderful Family Safari Experience
We had an excellent experience with Loren African Safaris. From the very beginning, Loren was highly responsive and attentive to our needs while planning the trip. We enjoyed a fantastic four-day safari, with outstanding accommodation and delicious food throughout our stay.
Our guide, Ally, was exceptional—extremely knowledgeable, a safe and confident driver, and especially kind and patient with our two young children, which meant a great deal to us as a family. Thanks to him, we were fortunate to see all of the Big Five, along with many other incredible wildlife encounters.

4 days with friends Manyara - Serengeti - Ngorongoro
This is my second trip to Tanzania and the first for my friends. There were five of us women, and we were lucky enough to go on safari with Gela from Loren's agency. During those four days, we visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
We don't even know how to thank Gela enough for his kindness, his thoughtfulness, and all the knowledge he shared with us. It was a truly memorable experience. Thank you all!

Wonderful experience
We did a four day Safari and it was great. They always responded quickly and took care of everything, from meals to places to stay and other fees. We visited Taraguire, Serengeti and Ngorongo and our driver was superb. He was always assisting us with explaining and teaching us about every animal we found. He was also really good at spotting hidden animals that we would have otherwise missed and always stopped the apropriate time to appreciate the nature and animals. Thanks to him we spotted and took photos of the big five and much more. Overall it was great and I really recommend to newly wedded couples like us.
