Professionalism and genuine care
5/5

We had an excellent experience working with Unveiled Tanzania Safaris. Irene supported us with multiple tailored itineraries, always patient, responsive, and incredibly helpful with her recommendations. Although we ultimately didn’t travel, we were impressed by her professionalism and genuine care. If we decide to go to Tanzania in the future, we will definitely choose this agency.

My first trip to Africa and I loved every minute of it. Would totally recommend Unveiled Tanzania.
5/5

Communications: Irene at Unveiled was my point of contact. She was exceptionally thorough and quick with all her response times on the lead up to and during the safari itself. I remember sending her a message on a Sunday weeks before the safari and she responded that day which was totally unexpected.
Service: Irene's service was exceptional as was the service provided by our safari guide (King David). David's knowledge of Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara areas was fantastic. He made the whole trip lots of fun and went out of his way to look after us. Special mention to Richard (our chef) during the safari time. he cooked delicious breakfast, lunch and dinners for our group - looking at the other tour groups, we were definitely the best fed around.
Value for Money: Great value for money. Once the tour was paid for, there was very little costs incurred during the whole safari period.

I thorougly enjoyed my experience in Tanzania and feel that Irene and David were a large part of why my experience was so good. I hope to return in the future and they would be my number one choices to work with on my return.

Unveiled Tanzania Safaris are a trustworthy and reliable company providing economic safaris.

We booked a 9 day safari and really enjoyed ourselves, and as this was our 7th safari we had high expectations. Considering what a great price we had they deliver an amazing experience. Lulu the operational Manager was professional and proficient, always responsive to any questions we had. All the guides were friendly, reliable and extremely hard working, driving and guiding through long days. You will be well looked after, just sit back and relax - a special shout out here to our guide in the Serengeti Joseph! Food was delicious and plentiful, we even had some wine with our picnic lunches. After dinner each night we would be briefed on the following days details. The hotels were what I’d call 3 star, adequate, comfy beds, you can of course pay more for more luxury if you wish. We had a half day bicycle tour of a small town and another day tour to a waterfall and coffee plantation, providing the opportunity to meet people and learn about their lives and finished with delicious lunches. The amount of wildlife we experienced was good and we were pleasantly surprised how many animals there were at Lake Manyara and Tangarie park. It’s also a good idea to visit them first, as you have 2 easy days before continuing to the great finale Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We loved the camping at Dik Dik camp in the Serengeti, giraffes and an elephant came past/into the camp and I came face to face with a Genet cat. Be prepared that camping at the public camp site was basic, cool shower, tent, bedding, mattress, with great meals provided and overall a great experience. I would recommend Unveiled Tanzania Safaris to provide a good value well coordinated Safari.

Excellent Trip and Superb Service
5/5

Irene coordinated my entire trip. From the moment I arrived until I left she took care of everything. I would call it a red carpet experience. The Safari was amazing and the hotels were truly superb. The rooms and food were some of the best I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Highly recommended.

Great assistance during all planning process
5/5

I had several exchanges with Irene from Unveiled Tanzania Safaris during March and April. She was of great assistance and always willing to provide support and help us finding the most suitable solution to meet our budget and schedule constraints.
We unfortunately had to change our plans and postpone our travel to a later moment, but I surely will contact her again when the time will come.
Thank you again for your kindness and reactivity all along!

Title: A Chance Encounter with the Green Serengeti and Ancient Craters at the End of the Rainy Season – A Tribute to Unveiled Tanzania and Boaz

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Travel Agency: Unveiled Tanzania Safaris

Travel Dates: May 14 - May 20, 2026

This 7-day northern safari was less of a safari and more of a deep dialogue with nature. Special thanks to Irene for her meticulous arrangements and our top guide, Boaz. He deciphered the secrets of this land for us amidst the dust of the late dry season.

Day 1 (May 14): Arusha - Greenside Hotel

Upon landing in Arusha, Irene personally picked us up and confirmed the itinerary details. Dinner at the Greenside Hotel was authentic, setting the stage for the adventure.

Day 2 (May 15): Tarangire National Park - Tarangire Sopa Lodge

The stay at Tarangire Sopa Lodge, located within the park, was exceptional. The dry season allowed the elephants' skins to gleam in the sun, and herds roamed peacefully beneath the massive baobab trees. Boaz's driving skills remained steady even on bumpy roads. The night safari after dark was the highlight; the chirping of insects in the darkness and the distant roars of lions sent chills down our spines.

Day 3 (May 16): Western Serengeti Corridor - Mgunga Serengeti Camp

After a long trek, we arrived at Mgunga Serengeti Camp. This camp is situated on the plains, offering breathtaking views right outside the door. In the afternoon, Boaz led us to a leopard perched on a dead tree. At that moment, time seemed to stand still, with only the sound of the wind rustling through the grass.

Day 4 (May 17): Western Serengeti Full Day - Mgunga Serengeti Camp

The advantage of staying two nights in a row was that we didn't have to pack our luggage. Although there was a lot of rain at this time, the grasslands were lush and green, and the large herds of animals had not yet migrated here, which gave us a reason to "slow down." We saw a lazy pride of lions resting on the rich, tender grass along the Grumeti River. Although we didn't see wildebeest crossing, this tranquil grassland time was a luxury.

D5 (May 18): Central Serengeti → Ngorongoro Highlands - Ngorongoro Wild Camp

We saw cheetahs in the central Serengeti in the morning, and then climbed uphill. In the evening, we checked into Ngorongoro Wild Camp, located on the highlands on the outer edge, offering panoramic views. We waited at the camp for the sunrise the next day.

D6 (May 19): Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha - Summit Safari Lodge

This day's experience will be unforgettable. We descended to the bottom of the crater at dawn, before the morning mist had completely dissipated. While everyone was searching for animals near Hippo Pool, Boaz, with his eagle eyes, spotted a black rhinoceros on a distant hillside! He skillfully adjusted the car's angle, allowing us to successfully capture this precious moment. The awe-inspiring sight of life from the "bottom of the world's bowl" was indescribable. Returning to the rooftop terrace of the Summit Safari Lodge that evening, feeling the breeze, I felt incredibly satisfied.

D7 (May 20): Materuni Falls & Chagga Village - End of Trip

The last day was gentle and warm. In the morning, we hiked to Materuni Falls, where the cool water was refreshing. Afterwards, we visited the local Chagga village. When I handed biscuits to the innocent children, the light in their eyes instantly struck me. Here, food is a silent language; I felt the simplicity and kindness that transcended cultures.

Summary and Reflections:

This trip made me fall deeply in love with Tanzania. This is not only due to Unveiled Tanzania Safaris' professional service and Boaz's superb leadership, but also to the beauty of this land and the kindness of its people. Tanzania's scenery is magnificent and pristine, and its people—whether guides, drivers, or villagers—exude a touching kindness and sincerity. If you ask me if going to Tanzania in May is worthwhile, I would say absolutely. With Irene and Boaz, you will gain more than just scenery; you will experience a profound emotional connection.
