A truly immersive safari experience we'll remember for a lifetime
We booked a 5-day private family safari with Ndutu Green Explorers (2 adults and 2 children, aged 12 and 8), visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara.
From the planning stage, the team was responsive, flexible, and willing to accommodate our requests. Everything was organized exactly as agreed, and we always felt supported.
A special thank you goes to our guide, Culvert. He was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and always focused on making our experience the best it could be. He answered our endless questions, shared his knowledge of wildlife and local culture, taught us a little Swahili, and constantly looked for something special to show us. He found the perfect balance between being an excellent guide and a wonderful travel companion.
The safari vehicle was comfortable, clean, and always stocked with cold drinks and snacks. The packed lunches were varied and tasty, and all the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well located.
A safari involves long drives and plenty of patience but thanks to Ndutu Green Explorers and Culvert, every day was engaging, enjoyable, and memorable.
I would highly recommend Ndutu Green Explorers, especially to families looking for a well-organized and authentic safari experience in Tanzania

Friendly, good communication and flexible.
Me and my husband booked the 5 day safari with Ndutu green explorers and had the best time. John was our driver and he was so friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings and all the animals! He was also a great driver and made us feel safe on steep roads. The accommodations were great with fantastic customer service and the food was incredible. We are so happy with the memories we have made and are sad it’s over.

Unforgettable week of amazing safari
From our first contact with Ndutu Green Explorers, we got professional, efficient and attentive help from Rachel with our itinerary. She adjusted it according to our preferances and budget and even helped us with arrangements before and after our safari. The accomodations were very good and offered different experiences. The Mbundi tented camp run by Ndutu was especially memorable.
The itinerary resulted in an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable week of safari with our outstanding guide Gilbert, a very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced guide & driver. Whether it was Tarangire, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro or Lake Manyara, Gilbert seemed to know where to go, when to be there, what to look for and what to expect. We saw all the animals we hoped to see and more. He was able to answer our endless number of questions, ranging from details about animals to plants and Masai culture. He appeared to have Superman eyes and impressed us again and again with what he managed to spot while driving. He was also an excellent driver and managed to maneuver the jeep regardless - the roads were at times extremely difficult. As we travelled with children, it meant a lot to feel that we were in safe and very capable hands. We truly enjoyed our time with Gilbert and would warmly recommend him to anyone wanting a great safari experience.

Very good - Amazing experience, where we saw every animal possible - many times round, with two leopards very close in one day! Everywhere we stayed and went was great, very nice quality - where everything was tailored to our asking and requirements. Once in a lifetime!

We were fortunate and pleased to travel on a four-day safari with Omar. We visited Tarangire Park, the Serengeti Park, and Ngoro Ngoro Crater. We stayed in beautiful, comfortable accommodations, such as the Friends Camp and coffee lounge. Omar was a caring caretaker, a wonderful companion, and most importantly, an excellent guide who showed us the Big Five in spades. We saw entire families of lions with their cubs, herds of elephants, rhinos, hyenas, giraffes, dozens of hippos, jackals, herds of buffalo and wildebeest, as well as zebras, four cheetah cubs, and, of course, a leopard! Omar was greatly invested, helpful and told interesting facts!
The whole trip was a great experience. We had a chance to admire the animals and nature - we were surprised how closely they come to cars which allowed us to see them in detail! Accommodation was great as well, we had a chance to try local food and drinks. Staff was super helpful as well, everything was clean and greatly organsied. Our tour guide, Omar, was amazing - he really tried his best ( and succeeded) at showing us all the possible animals, was always happy to share his culture as well as knowledge about parks nature and animals. He was always very helpful and nice! Overall, we had amazing time and are very happy with our choice - strongly recommend!
