Good organisation with professional guide, Fessal.
We had a trip to Mnemba island, we visited a sandbank in the middle of the Sea, saw Starfish and dolphins! We got Some delicious fruit on the way!!!
Guide and captain were great, boat was fine. But a lot of other boats… of course everybody wants to do this trip, but that was a little bit dissapointing.

Great experience!
We had a safari tour at Mikuma national park! We saw a lot of animale from a close distance! We got a lot of information about the animals and there behavioir. The guide Fessal told us everything we wanted to know. He and he his friend godfry gave us a wonderfull time. They are very friendly, kind and funny 😉.

Excellent organization, great communication, and an unforgettable safari at a fair price.
We are a French family with three children, and we booked a 3-day / 2-night safari to Mikumi with Imara Tours. We highly recommend them!
The organization was excellent from start to finish. Fessal was always responsive, helpful, and flexible, making sure every one of our requests was taken care of. All the logistics (ferry, train, transfers, luggage storage, etc.) were handled perfectly, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any stress.
Our French-speaking guide and our driver were fantastic. Thanks to them, we were lucky enough to see 3 of the Big Five along with many other incredible animals.
The value for money was excellent. After comparing many different tour operators, Imara Tours offered one of the best prices without compromising on quality.

Absolutely amazing
From the moment we were picked up in Zanzibar to the moment we returned, we knew we were in great hands. Everything was so well organised, and we never had to worry about a thing. We were safely guided onto the ferry, train and throughout our journey to Mikumi National Park, which made travelling so easy and completely stress-free.
The whole team at Imara Tours were amazing. They were so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and always happy to help. We felt safe at all times, and their passion for Tanzania and its wildlife really made the experience even more special.
The safari itself was beyond anything we could have imagined. Seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, crocodiles and so much more up close was simply incredible. It truly was the experience of a lifetime, and one we’ll never forget.
We booked our holiday through our UK travel company, Holiday Dukes, who arranged everything with Imara Tours. The communication from Imara Tours was excellent, especially through WhatsApp, where any questions we had were answered quickly and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Amazing safari

Review of our 3-day safari to Mikumi
We did a 3-day safari in Mikumi and it was a really great experience, especially if you don’t have many days but still want to see lots of animals and enjoy something truly authentic.
Everything was very well organized from the start, with early pick-ups for the ferry and train, and Faisal was always making sure everything ran smoothly. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, with mosquito nets, and during the safari we saw a huge number of animals (lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes…), more than we expected. The visit to the Maasai village was a nice extra, and the pace of the safari was relaxed and never felt rushed.
It’s worth being prepared for the sun and bringing a small daypack, although water is provided and the accommodation has everything you need, including towels. Overall, it’s a great option if you want to make the most of your time and experience Mikumi without any hassle.
