Exceptional
Had the most amazing time climbing Kilimanjaro with the amazing team behind kiliclimb! The experience really exceeded expectations, the food was amazing, the guides, porters, and janeth were all super attentive. I rented a sleeping bag for the hike which wasn’t particularly warm which I did mention after the hike and they discounted the price I paid and hopefully they can invest in better ones for future! A lot of effort is put in by the porters (13 in total) to get equipment to camp which we preemptively underestimated when we calculated tipping - we didn’t realise how many there would be! All in all great experience and would highly recommended :)

The sleeping bags are currently rented from an independent equipment store that is not affiliated with or a member of Kiliclimb Africa Safaris. Nevertheless, we understand that the equipment you receive directly affects your experience with us. That is why, after receiving your feedback, we decided to cover half of the sleeping bag rental cost for you.

An unforgettable Kilimanjaro and Tanzania experience
We recently completed a private Kilimanjaro climb and safari with KiliClimb Africa Safaris and came home with some incredible memories.
The highlight was undoubtedly successfully reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro via the Machame route. Our mountain team was excellent. The guides were professional, encouraging and attentive throughout the climb, and the entire crew worked incredibly hard to make the experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We felt very well supported from beginning to end, and reaching Uhuru Peak was an experience we will never forget!
Following the climb, we continued with a private safari through Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The wildlife viewing was remarkable, and experiencing these very different parts of Tanzania immediately after Kilimanjaro made for an extraordinary trip. Although the some parts of the safari can get really busy at times. Our driver was at his best to find us discreet animal viewings. His game drives were very, very well balanced to deliver a solid safari experience.
Throughout the journey, the KiliClimb team was responsive and helpful, both during the planning process and while we were in Tanzania. Whenever we had questions or wanted to discuss something, they were available and receptive to our feedback. We particularly appreciated the personal attention that came with having a private trip.
Most importantly, the people we met along the way! From our mountain crew to our safari team, both were a huge part of what made the experience so memorable.
Kilimanjaro was a bucket-list experience, and standing together at Uhuru Peak made all the preparation worthwhile. We leave Tanzania with wonderful memories and a great appreciation for the people who helped make the trip happen.

Highly recommend for an amazing safari
We went on a 5 day safari with Kiliclimb around mid-August and it was the most amazing experience! Janeth, our tour consultant, was great and helped answer a lot of questions, and provided us with options as we settled on the final itinerary. She checked in with us during the safari and made sure we were comfortable. The safari was awesome! Our guide, Bakari, was excellent, and took great care of us during the safari as well as beyond. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and it was wonderful to have him as our guide. We highly recommend Bakari! We saw the big 5, and were lucky enough to witness a wildebeest river crossing during the migration! Our stays were great and we had tasty packed lunch. A very memorable trip!

Picking Kiliclimbs for our safari tour was the best thing we done. Been texting Naite the Kiliclimbs tour operator on what’s app and she had everything organised for us. She made everything so easy for us from the first day we arrived in Tanzania. Also our tour guide Logan who we had for the safari was incredible . His knowledge of the animals was brilliant and also his knowledge of cities and towns we passed through on route to the safari in different national parks and reserves. The safari professionals
The safari we enjoyed with Kiliclimb was perfect, starting from our first contact with Janeth, who immediately explained to us in detail the various options available.
We customized a 5-day safari that would include Tarangire, the central and northern Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Our contact with Janeth continued with a wealth of information, allowing us to fully prepare for the safari.
Upon our arrival in Arusha, we had a pre-safari briefing with Janeth, during which the itinerary we would be following was explained in detail.
We began the safari with our highly trained guide, Logan, who accompanied us for 5 days with great professionalism and patience, allowing us to spot numerous animals and birds of the savannah, including all the Big Five.
Unfortunately, when we reached the Mara River, we were unable to witness the crossing; there were many wildebeest and zebras, but they decided not to cross.
Ultimately, we can say that the safari was organized and conducted with great preparation, precision, and professionalism. The lodges and tented camps where we stayed were excellent, even though they were in the savannah (it has been thrilling to hear the lions roar during the nights in the savannah).

Best Tourguide Haruni
An unforgettable 4-day safari – huge praise to our guide Haruni!
Our 4-day safari was a complete success. Despite the short time, we saw an incredible amount! The 5-star rating is primarily due to our fantastic tour guide, Haruni. He went to great lengths to ensure we saw every single animal and was always in great spirits and funny.
We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti was our absolute highlight – we felt like we saw every animal there.
The organization by Kiliclimb Africa Safaris was very straightforward, and communication was flawless. One minor point of criticism: The very detailed pre-trip information and packing lists initially caused us some concern that there was a lot to consider. However, once the safari began, this proved to be completely unfounded. Everything ran extremely smoothly and without any problems – you can easily manage with just the things you think of yourself.

Extremely communicative and goes out of your way to make you feel safe and confident!
I worked with Janet and she was beyond communicative throughout the entire process—before, during, and after the trip. I planned on camping the entire time. It was an incredible experience, but wanted to end the trip in a nicer hotel and she immediately switched me to exactly what I was looking for while I was still on safari. At the end of the of the trip she accompanied me to the accommodations I booked by myself (Kia lodge) to make sure I got there safe since it was a longer drive from where the safari driver dropped us off.
As for the actual safari, the guides were incredible. Be aware that you most likely will be with people from different travel agencies. However, there was not much waiting around. Camping is the best option if you want to reduce travel time since the hotels are further out.
10/10 experience. I would definitely use this company again!
