Incredible Experience of a Lifetime
5/5

I had an absolutely amazing safari experience from start to finish. The customer service was excellent throughout, and I was genuinely blown away that the owner personally joined me on the safari—such a rare and thoughtful touch that made the experience feel very special and personal.
Our driver was fantastic—funny, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to find the animals and shared great insights about their behavior and habitats, which made the whole experience even more meaningful.
The village visit was probably the least enjoyable part of the trip, but it was still interesting to see and learn how the local community lives, even if it felt a bit less comfortable or polished compared to the rest of the experience.
The stay at Serena Lodge was beautiful—comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly set in a stunning location. Food was buffet style and a ton of variety. It was a great place to relax after the safari days with monkeys just outside your back door.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a well-run, personal, and memorable safari adventure.

Excellent tour
5/5

Absolutely excellent experience! Everything was well planned! We didnt have to worry about anything, our guide Chris was amazing, his driving and animals spotting skills were on point! He really tried his best (and succeeded) to help us see every animal we wanted to see while respecting them.

Fantastic experience that I would recommend without hesitation — with just one accommodation caveat
4/5

Highlights
The decision to do a private tour was absolutely worth it. The flexibility, personalised attention, and pace made a real difference compared to group tours. The hotels in Nairobi and Nakuru were excellent — well above expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and service.

The One Exception
The camp arranged for the Masai Mara leg — Enchoro Wildlife Camp — was a significant step down but it's not fault of the tourist operator

A Word on Local Vendors
Be aware that in certain stops, locals will approach you aggressively trying to sell crafts at wildly inflated prices — think $30 for items you can find at Nairobi airport for a fraction of the cost. This is not the operator's fault, but worth knowing so you're not caught off guard. Smile, decline, and move on.

Bottom line: A well-organised, worthwhile private safari experience.
