An adventure that you cannot pass up.
Balaam (our main guide) and Fred went absolutely above and beyond to make sure my family and I had an experience that was nothing short of magical. They provided such a genuine level of knowledge, kindness, and personality that made the experience so much more than just a fun trip and into an adventure I will not forget. Thank you so much guys and I will be sure to see you again for when I return!

Knowledge self catering and understanding to your interests and budget, the absolute best service.
I had the most amazing and joyful experience with Fred and his team! He provided great service and knowledge in which I am truely grateful for. Designing my entire trip to fit my interests and my budget I was able to summit some incredible volcanos in Rwanda and Uganda and lucky enough to meet some mountain gorillas on my trek!!! Nelson my driver was incredible. Not only did he get from A to B he was full of wisdom and glad to have him share it along the way! After hours of hiking there were always snacks water and fruit waiting for me which I was very thankful for. I couldn’t have asked for a better guy to take me around this beautiful part of the world! I can’t recommend these guys enough to anyone who wants to explore this region. You will not regret it, One more adventures will make your trip 10 times better.

One Amazing Adventure in Rwanda and Uganda
I always wanted to go to Rwanda after watching “Gorillaz in the mist,” many years ago. So I began to do my usual detail planning ( online research, hours of You Tube, Google Maps …etc) when a good friend stated that I should STOP my planning and simply use “One More Adventure”.
One more adventure, provided us a wonderful trip to Rwanda and Uganda. Below are my reasons in retrospect to use them
1. DETAIL ORIENTED- The things you don’t think of , One More Adventure will - all behind the scenes and you will only realize this when you’re on your trip. Provides a detail plan based on my needs. He also provided me a list of things to consider when packing.
2. Trustworthy - Fred delivers on what he promises. There are no hidden fees or agenda. He truly wants you to be happy and does everything in his power.
3. Safety and Security- huge concern as I have never been to these countries and US Consulate, friends , family and colleagues would raise many concerns. He made me feel at easy. I had nothing to worry about.
4. My physical limitations- I told him I have a bad back - he made sure the vechile was such that I could comfortably travel .
5. QUICK TO RESPOND - Fred was quick to answer my questions and concerns.
6. Finds out what you want and customizes your trip.
7. SECRET WEAPON - Our guide / driver / everything, Derrick !!! He was amazing. Just a wonderful human being with a kind soul and is very knowledgeable. Extremely helpful.
8. FOOD - Make sure you eat the pineapples and mangoes - just to die for. The grilled pork was excellent. Just tell Fred and Derrick what you want and they will make it happen.
9. It was our 30 year anniversary and they made everyday special. We even did a couples photo shoot which Derrick took the pictures- they turned out beautiful.
The bad for our trip was that we had some days when the rain really came down but was fortunate that we were in the lodge or driving, it never effected the hiking experience or the time with the primates.
Both Fred and Derrick made our trip extremely comfortable and we will always have these wonderful memories which might make me want ONE MORE ADVENTURE back in Rwanda/Uganda.

We are very happy we've chosen One More Adventure Safaris for our trip across Rwanda and Uganda. Right from the start they were very responsive in their communication and did their best to create an itinerary which fits with all our wishes (including almost a last minute gorilla trekking booking).
Our guide Emma was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be around. He did everything to make our trip unforgettable, accommodated all our requests and showed us aspects of these two countries we would have not noticed otherwise.
I would highly recommend One More Adventure Safaris for their professionalism, dedication, local knowledge and passion.

Posted on Sep 25, 2024Dear Maria,
I would like to sincerely thank you for the wonderful time we shared with you and Emma through One More Adventure Safaris. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your 10-day Rwanda-Uganda safari journey.
From the Mount Bisoke hike, golden monkeys, and gorillas in Bwindi, to the chimpanzee trek in Kibale, and wrapping it up with a wildlife safari in Murchison Falls National Park—what an incredible adventure! It’s amazing to think that it all started with an inquiry for a 2-day Nyungwe chimpanzee trek and turned into a remarkable 10-day safari.
We were truly fortunate to have such a fantastic group of ladies, and I’d like to give a special thanks to our guide, Emmanuel, for going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Once again, thank you for choosing us for this unforgettable experience. We look forward to welcoming you again soon for another One More Adventure!
Warm regards,
Fay

Amazing, knowledgeable and highly recommended!
Last month, my wife, my mom and I took a safari trip with One More Adventure Safaris and it was probably one of the best trips of my life! Right from the start, Fred Odyek did an amazing job in meticulously planning our trip to Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. He booked the best lodges to stay and the best activities we should be doing during the trip. He welcomed us at the airport and gave us personalized bottles and goodies. Fred and his team of guides (Emmanuel, Charles and Apollo) were all incredibly knowledgeable and amazing! From gorrilla and golden monkey trekking in Rwanda to seeing The Big Five in Kenya and Tanzania, we had an incredible experience! Fred was so kind and sweet that he prepared a custom song for my mom's birthday and played it at the lodge we stayed at and also got her a custom birthday cake! Talk about the personal touch!
Emmanuel hooked us up with the best guides in Volcanoes National Park who took us to see the biggest Mountain Gorilla family in the entire park - The Hirwa family of 19 gorrillas! After hiking for about 3 hours, we were right around this beautiful gorrilla family. We saw a silverback up close, his twins playing around and posing for us who then walked right by our feet, a 3 month baby, 4 of his wives and the list goes on! It was an incredible experience! The next day we got to see golden monkeys up close and it is amazing to see how golden some of them are! And this family of 175 golden monkeys decended from the mountain to greet us as we were about to climb the mountain to see them! So to see them in the open up close was amazing! To think that two of the rarest species are in the same national park is just surreal!
Then, in Amboseli National Park in Kenya, with the sun about to set down and Kilimanjaro behind us, we witnessed one of the highlights of our trip when we witnessed live right in front of our eyes a Pride of Lions hunting a Dazzle of Zebras and successfully catching a baby zebra. That would not have been possible without Charles's amazing instincts, knowledge, driving skills and keenly listening to the radio so that we didn't miss out on any action! Same thing could be said when he got us on time to witness a Confusion of Wilderbeests (about 300-400 or so!) crossing the Mara River from Serengeti into Masai Mara! We actually got to see the most famous portion of The Great Migration! In addition to this, we also got to witness a valley migration of these wilderbeests. Charles was definitely our lucky charm!
Speaking of lodges, we had amazing views of Lake Nakuru and Nakuru National Park at Sopa Lodge. At Mara Mara and Kubu Kubu lodges in Serengeti, we had the thrill of staying at luxury lodges where the shower had no ceiling and so it gave us an adventure of showering under the sky with animals possibly right outside. I mean a safari trip can't be better than that, right!?
On Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha, walking with zebras, giraffes, ostriches, impalas, gazelles, and knowing that somewhere hyenas were sleeping was an experience that I will never forget! It was crazy to think that we were just walking for an hour from one end of the island to another with all these wild animals! And an ostrich really wanted my mom's purse and kept picking on it!
The Hot Air Balloon in Masai Mara is a must! We got an amazing view of Masai Mara from above that gives you a beautiful aerial view of all these animals walking and running around the park. What was crazy was that before getting in the Hot Air Balloon, I asked the pilot what happens if Lions are right by where we land and guess what!? While we didn't have them right by where we landed, we did have a pride of young male lions just eating their breakfast Wilderbeest to the right side of where we had our breakfast post the Balloon ride and on our left were the hyenas waiting for the lions to be done with the wilderbeest! It was unreal that we were sitting right in the open eating our breakfast and enjoying champagne and these wild animals were so close to us enjoying their breakfast! It was like we shared our breakfast area with the Lions! How cool is that!? Well, as long as we didn't become their food!
Serengeti was a bit disappointing for us because we didn't see much other than mating lions but we were glad to have seen all The Big Five animals (buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, leopards, and lions) in Masai Mara! What was amazing though was the beautiful reddish/orange African sunrise and sunsets here that we missed out on in Kenya because it was more cloudy everyday there than in Serengeti. The beautiful Blue Bay resort, Fred booked for us in Zanzibar was a nice way for us to relax after an amazing safari trip.
I could write another whole page about this wonderful trip and how wonderful Fred and his team were but I think no amount of words will do enough justice to the experience they created for us.
I highly highly recommend One More Adventure Safaris if you are planning a safari trip to these East African countries. Fred is amazing and he will 100% make sure that you have the best experience possible. We can't wait to come to Rwanda next time to do chimpanzee trekking and go to Ol Pejeta conservancy in Kenya for which we would not want to use anyone but Fred and his team at One More Adventure Safaris!

Thank you so much for trusting us with your 16-day Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar primate, wildlife, and beach safari. This truly was an extraordinary and one-of-a-kind adventure, and we’re honored to have been part of your wonderful family trip.
From encountering gorillas and golden monkeys in Rwanda, witnessing live hunts in Amboseli, and experiencing the great migration in the Masai Mara and Serengeti—including the breathtaking hot air balloon ride—it was a journey filled with unforgettable moments. Exploring the central Serengeti, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, and finally relaxing in Zanzibar as the memories of this incredible adventure began to settle in was a perfect way to complete the adventure —what a flawless experience!
As you said, it was an adventure of a lifetime. We’re grateful to our amazing guides for making your dreams come true every step of the way, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for One More Adventure, as promised.
