A memorable experience
We were fortunate enough to go on a 3-day trip to the Murchison Falls National Park with Likana Safaris Uganda in February of this year.
We had three days packed with wonderful experiences.
We saw a large number of animals and birds during the game drive: elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, crowned cranes, to name just some.
Another highlight of the safari was the boat cruise up to the Falls with sightings of hippo and numerous bird life. And on our last day, we were taken to the top of the Falls: a spectacular view of the river as it plunges down the gorge.
The whole trip was a great success due to the outstanding organization by Likana Safaris and the knowledge and experience of its excellent guide.
Great accommodation too at the Sambiya River Lodge.
Uganda is well worth visiting and Likana Safaris did an excellent job in introducing us to this beautiful country.

Very experienced and eager to show us as many animals as possible.
We had the chance to go on a 3 day trip to Murchison falls which was an intense but definitely worth it. It was a great trip. We were 8 people in one car and saw so many animals from lions, to elephants, buffalo's, leopards,.... Overall a great experience and our guide was also flexible and knowledgeable about the animals and the park. Without him we definitely would not have seen so many great animals. The accomodation jibiri was also super. We had a shared room for 2 people with nice AC, bathroom and comfortable beds. The AC was definitely necessary. The staff was nice, only the food orders took quite some time, but the food itself good. I can definitely recommend the trip. In a short trip one gets to see so much and Murchison falls with it's impressive water falls, animals, and landscape is definitely worth a visit.

3-Day Gorilla Trekking
We booked our 3-day gorilla trekking through Likana Safari at a great price-performance ratio. We experienced a lot in a short time, including a visit to Lake Mburo, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a guided community walk and a stop at the equator on the way back. We really liked the accommodation at Ride 4 a Women. The times we were given beforehand were not always very precise, but we had already prepared ourselves for longer journeys anyway. I can only warmly recommend this trip.
