BEST experience with the BEST tour guides!
Mmilo tours are truly the BEST tour provider in South Africa. They have exceptional, knowledgeable and friendly tour guides, and they are also quite flexible being able to tailor the tours according to your needs and interests. I've had a wonderful and memorable experience in South Africa, thanks to Mmilo Tours - Patrick and my tour guides Anton and Norman.
Mr. Patrick was so helpful in providing me sufficient and detailed information in all my email inquiries about the tours. He was quick to reply and he always answered all my specific questions about the tours. He also helped me tailor the tours according to my needs and interests. My tour guides, Anton and Norman, are the best tour guides you can have. They are knowledgeable, friendly, experienced as tour guides and quite accommodating. They will definitely ensure that you'll have the best and most memorable experience in South Africa.
I have booked 3 tours with Mmilo Tours - a half-day tour in Johannesburg and a half-day tour in Soweto and a day tour to Pilanesberg National Park. Anton was my guide during the two half-day tours in Joburg and Soweto, and Norman was my guide to Pilanesberg. The half-day tours with Anton were exceptional - we were able to visit around 10-12 tourist attractions/landmarks for each day, and Anton had a lot of knowledge about these places - I truly learnt a lot and it made my stay in South Africa more meaningful and fun! He was also quite flexible and would adjust the program according to my preferences.
Mr. Norman was my guide in the Pilanesberg park, and he is the best guide you can have in doing a game drive. He was excellent and quick in spotting the animals, he knew all the names of the animals, even all the types of birds, the type of plants/trees, etc. We have seen lots of animals already during our first 2 hours (out of 6 hours game drive in total) in the park and we have even seen 4 of the big 5 already during these first two hours, thanks to Norman! I have at least listed 20 types of animals (excluding the birds) which we have seen during the safari! It was an amazing experience to see a lot of animals in a short time. Mr. Norman also took me to a quick tour in Pretoria - he taught me a lot about the place.
Both Anton and Norman were very helpful and fun to be with! I would definitely recommend Mmilo Tours, more specifically, Anton and Norman, as your guides. They have made my stay in South Africa truly enjoyable and memorable - such a wonderful experience!

Excellent experience with Mmilo tours!
I went to Pretoria with my family (3 children) and let Mmilo tours organise our tours for 4 days.
They made an excellent program and I really want to thank them for the high level of professionally, punctuality, honesty, friendship and knowledge. The whole programme was also cheaper as compared to other tour operator and, believe it to not, they sent me back some money as refund because my children could not attend one of the tours. Never happened before to find such a good people that you can trust and rely on.
Cars were always clean and comfortable and drivers very nice and friendly.
I do strongly recommend them.
Three years ago I was also in Pretoria and went to Pilanesberg with another tour operator. Not the same story!

A beautifully planned and coordinated itinerary for South Africa, Victoria Falls and Botswana
From start to finish the tour package put together by Patrick was great. We tried to see and experience as many different sites as possible in a short amount of time but Patrick coordinated it all into a pleasurable experience and a fun time for all. We had to go through Johannesburg during our travels and on each occasion and Patrick met us at the airport to assist and check in on us. Charles, the guide in Cape Town and Patrick, in Johannesburg and Pretoria made the trip a memorable vacation, where we all enjoyed ourselves. Their friendly and informative way of showing us the city sights and being accommodating to our needs is definitely worth mentioning. The hotel accommodations were good except for the hotel in Kruger Park, which exceeded expectations and definitely added to the overall satisfaction of our trip. The safari in Kruger with the local guides were helpful and informative. Due to the time of year we were there, we were able to see the natural wildlife but not in the quantities one might expect. But in any case we saw a leopard, lion, white and black rhinos, and the rest of the big five. We also visited Victoria Falls and Chobe Park in Botswana, both places were pleasant and again accommodating to our special needs. We were traveling with two eighty-year young people who required a bit of help. Overall I would highly recommend Mimlo Tours for your travel requirements in southern Africa, for there friendly service and coordinating a wonderful trip.

Outstanding!
This was the first safari for me and my friends and Mmilo and our guide, Willem, did not disappoint. Service was for our sunrise safari was professional-- it was seamless and prompt. As for the safari experience itself, Willem was extremely knowledgeable about the park, its animals and the vegetation. We are a curious group, and he was able to answer all of our questions thoroughly. Willem is patient; he would slow down or back up to ensure that we got a chance to thoroughly observe the animals, and was very respectful of the animals. On the other hand,we witnessed guides from other companies speeding through the experience in an effort to catch the next animal. We were able to see three of the Big 5 during our one-day experience. And lunch at Bakubung Lodge was wonderful. Willem also took pictures throughout our day, which he shared with us. The lodge is beautiful, and modern yet cozy. The scenery, service, food and drinks were great. My only regret is that we didn't have time for a multi-day safari. I'll definitely be backand will plan accordingly!

Great Pilanesberg experience
We decided at very short notice to spend the day before our flight out at Pilanesberg reserve. It turned out to be a great decision - made possible by a great tour operator, Mmilo! Willem was a great and very knowledgable guide and we had a great time with him. Everything went smoothly from pickup at the hotel to drop-off at the airport, a great experience in the reserve seeing and being pointed out lots of different animals, a yummie lunch at a lodge - and a nice goodie on top: being sent a link to view the pictures Willem took on that day with his professional equipment.
Definitely recommended!

Great day tour with Willem
We spent a great day with Willem. He picked us up early morning at our hotel and took us to the Lion's park. Don't expect raging lions in the wilderness over there as they are looked after (so they spend most of their time sleeping) but playing with lion cubs and cheetahs de-fi-ni-te-ly make it worth it. We then went to visit a cave nearby, which has nothing more nothing less than other big caves you may have visited before. We also had lunch there. Perhaps taking a tour of Soweto would make the day more special. But anyhow Willem was very friendly, took good care of us and was talkative about SA in general, which is another great way to learn about the country. He was flexible and patient, thank you! Definitely recommend him and Mmilo tours!

Flash vacation in South Africa
We only had five full days to explore South Africa, and so we booked a tour with Williem for two of those days. I am so glad that we did, we were able to see so much, and the tour really made the country come alive for us. A lot of little things, like Williem bringing binocilars for us to use, and sending his proffesional-grade photos after the tour etc, totaled up to make the trip extra special. I would recomend this tour to anyone that can spend any amount of time in South Africa.

Beyond All Expectations
We had a somewhat customized tour, and it was absolutely fabulous. Because our time was limited with departing flights, Mmilo arranged a customized tour in a minibus where we joined an open top safari vehicle for three hours in the middle. It was phenomenal. We left our hotel at 3:30am and arrived at Pilanesberg by sunrise. In the minibus, our guide Sibusiso gave us a very personalized tour. He was highly educated and taught us about the animals patterns and behavior. By 9:30am we felt like we had seen almost everything (elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, lions, and many varieties of antelope). We switched to the open top vehicle at 9:30am and spent another three hours touring the reserve. These vehicle network over radios, so the drivers know where the activity and rare sightings are in the park. They got us VERY close to the wildlife. The open top tour was less educational but the photo opps from it were worth the trip. At the end of the open top trip we had a lunch and were driven comfortably back to the JNB airport by 3:30pm for our evening flights. This was a 5 Star experience!
