Unforgettable
I went for a safari with Mwanzo last year and it was amazing. I told him all my preferences and he made a custom safari like my wishes. We event went for chimpanzee trekking and on a horse ride safari. We saw 3 different parcs in just 4 days. An unforgettable experience!!

An exiting, fun and very educational trip!
The guide was very entertaining and he knew so much stories to tell about them and on his previous adventures. He was very experienced and able to spot the rarest animals very quick.
The lodges were also very clean and beautifull.

He is one of the best
A unique feature of our safari was spotting the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. This rare sight was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In the afternoon, we had the chance to visit a local village and learn about the cultures and traditions of the Ugandan people, which added a meaningful cultural dimension to our trip.

Dependable, responsible, safe, unique, personable and easy-going.
So happy I booked with Mwanzo Tours. Beforehand communication was very clear and they were very available to answer any questions. I had a private safari and the owner came along the whole 8 days. Highlights for me were Murchison Falls, Queen Elisabeth and Gorilla Trekking…. A live-long dream. I spent an hour with the gorilla’s. But I love how Mwanzo Tours supports local communities. I had a coffee experience, weaving experience and visited a local tribe in Bwindi and also an orphanage/school. Locals are so grateful when you give them some money after your visit. It all felt genuine, not commercial or faked. The guides were super knowledgeable as they travel this area often and know the locals. I had a great time, felt safe and was treated like a queen. I saw so much of the country and loved all the spontaneous interaction with the local people. Whatever type of safari you wish to have Mwanzo Tours can make it happen! I highly recommend them!

A once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
This tour through Uganda wasn’t just a holiday — it was a journey straight into the heart of Africa. Tracking gorillas and chimps in the wild was already a dream come true, but the experience went far beyond wildlife. We danced shoulder to shoulder with local villagers, tasted fresh mango straight off the tree — pill and all — and scoured the forests for dazzling birds, building a priceless collection of sightings.
It was the first time I felt I was seeing real Africa, raw and beautiful, life beating to its own drum. And the cherry on top of this incredible cake? A heartfelt Sarah project with children who truly got their lucky lottery ticket — watching their faces light up was worth more than gold.
This was not just a tour, it was an eye-opening adventure, packed to the brim with unforgettable moments. I came home with my heart full, my soul richer, and my camera loaded with memories I’ll treasure forever.
