Really excellent Safari
Myself and my friend had a really fantastic Safari experience with Nafika tours. The whole thing was organised so professionally and all the communication and planning for the trip was excellent. Our Safari guide Octavian was just brilliant - he had an amazing knowledge of all the animals and environment and he did a really fantastic job of managing to deliver an amazing number of animal sightings - we saw so many animals and he always managed to be in exactly the right place at the right time. The accommodation and service at all the places we stayed was also fabulous. So glad I booked with Nafika tours ten out of ten for me and fantastic value for money.

Amazing Service, Staff, Support, and Coordination from the beginning to the end.
We found Nafika through a reply on this website for a 7-day Lemosho route. We didn't know much about it.
However, what we experienced was phenomenal hospitality.
They're competitively priced, and have some of the best coordinated staff (as we witnessed by looking at other tours along the way).
We were very pleased by the level of service (quality of food, camp set up [good tents], ability to adapt to our needs, etc).
Our lead guide, Mescaki, was very practical and supportive.
I had my struggles along the way, and he provided reassurance and encouragement as well as active medical check-ins, and helped us finally summit and descend. There were also many members of staff (11 in total for the 2 of us), that were instrumental in our entire trek.
When selecting a provider, do not underestimate the importance of how the trek is paced, and how they can accommodate to your needs - it is absolutely critical.
The founder, Elias, has done a great job in putting together a quality team.
We found Nafika by pure luck, and given we're normally picky, I wouldn't hesitate to book them again and recommend them to friends & family (by the way we were vegetarian, and never felt short of options)

We cannot not recommend Nafika highly enough. Professional and fun. Look no further.
Our family of 5 trekked to the top of Kili with Nafika and had a memorable experience even with a cold and cloudy summit day. Elias made the pre-voyage organisation easy. Our guides Aloyise, Max and Frank were kind, fun knowledgeable - they were concerned for our health and made the trek easy and enjoyable. Arnold our cook was a star, even magically baking a cake for my wife's birthday even though he only learned about it the morning of.
Nafika is highly professional, locally owned and makes the trek a luxurious experience. The team ensured our camps were always set up in the best spots, that we never went hungry and always felt safe and cared for including the daily health checks for everyone (oxygen levels, blood pressure etc) and private toilet.

Fantastic traveling with Nafika

At a very fair price, Nafika provided me with a very luxurious pool hotel.
All the people here in climbing are the best and helpful. Experienced guides, skilled cooks and considerate entourage.
All this makes climbing Kilimanjaro a real treat.
It is worth noting that Elias is very helpful. Elias took care of me as a foreign visitor. This made my visit to Moshi town smooth and enjoyable. I really appreciate it.

Very detailed Nafika tour

The accommodations we booked were of excellent quality and comfortable, and the included meals were excellent.

NafiKa Tours made every moment unforgettable.
I joined NafiKa Tours for a safari in the Serengeti. It was nothing short of unforgettable. Despite the long hours of driving, our guide remained patient, warm, and full of knowledge. He pointed out the geography of the Serengeti and helped us observe the incredible wildlife with care. Whether it was handing me a telescope to catch sight of distant animals, or showing me illustrations from his guidebook to explain species and their behaviors, he made sure this wasn’t just sightseeing—it was a deep, meaningful encounter with nature.

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Nafika Tours was one of the best experiences of my life. From start to finish, everything was well organized and handled with great professionalism. The food on the mountain was not only delicious but also far beyond my expectations — every meal gave us the strength we needed for each day’s climb.
A special thanks to Elias, who managed all the arrangements smoothly and was always quick to respond to our questions before the trip. During the climb, our main guide Innocent was absolutely outstanding. His experience, encouragement, and constant attention to our well-being played a huge role in our successful summit. Innocent and Aifada, the guides from Nafika, provided extremely professional guidance during the seven-day Lemosho route. We enjoyed the whole trip, discovering new things every day. Our chef's soup was amazing, and we were full every day. We had enough calories to prepare for the next climb. I wish Max can grow up to be a new guide as soon as possible. Every porter is also very hardworking, they are all very good people, I wish them not to be injured in the process of work, I enjoyed the whole journey, I really enjoyed climbing the mountain, this experience is unforgettable, I will tell my son, grandson, and great-grandson.

Professionally organised 6 day machame Trek
We just completed the 6day Machame route, and we couldn’t thank our guides Karrimor & Mr. Dixon enough for being the reason we made it to the summit! (along with the best of the best team!!)
We chose to hike Kilimanjaro with Nafika tours due to their amazing reviews and being a local company, and they did not disappoint. From the start, everything was very well organised, we had so much detail about the trek itself, packing list, food menu and a meeting with the guides to check out gear before the trip.
Once on the mountain, the team kept us motivated through the harder parts of the trek, even through the torrential rain/hail/snow, they kept us going! Our porters rushed past us everyday to make sure our tent was ready and there was hot tea and snacks waiting for us to arrive, they are absolutely amazing and couldn’t have asked for a better team! A special thanks to our waiter David & Chef who made sure we had tasty food, full water bottles and comfortable nights in the tent. Everyone was so friendly and always smiling/singing/laughing!
Summit day was very challenging but SO rewarding and emotional once you get to the top, Karrimor & Mr Dixon, thank you again for being the best guides!!

Extremely professional, they make sure your dreams come tru
Nafika went above and beyond any possible expectations. Starting from the impressive availability of Elias in organizing each detail of our trip with very short notice and accomodating all our requests. Then Eli and Diklan, our super attentive guides who made it possible for us to reach the summit. But behind the scenes there’s much more that increases your chances to successfully climb the mountain: Jamali surprising us with warm boiled water after every trek and ensuring we had everything we needed all the time, Kennedy’s delicious dishes (we even had pizza, fries and popcorns on the mountain!) - big and balanced portions to make sure you intake all nutrients required for the trek, the support of John during the summit who carried on is own the oxygen tank in case of need plus thermos with hot tea to fight the cold, the endless efforts of Frankie, Simon, Lucas, Justin and Paulo who carried every day enourmous weights just for us being able to continue the trek - we opted for the luxury experience which includes standing tents with camping beds (highly recommended to ensure proper rest and avoid the cold soil) and portable toilet (as well, highly recommended since there are just public toilets on the route).
Last but not least: their smiles during the entire journey, their continuous support through laughs, jokes and songs sang all the way to the top (even in the most difficult moments of the summit). And just to mention: the crew always found the best spots in the camps with breathtaking views of the mountain and more privacy compared to other groups.
We will keep this experience forever in our hearts - thank you Nafika and the entire crew for making this possible. Forever grateful.
Finally, also the 3-day safari after the trek was very well organised: our guide Edi knew every route of the parks (tarangire, ngorongoro and lake eyasi) and made sure we had another incredible experience.
Simply choose Nafika - you will not be disappointed.
