My decision to go with Nafika for my 9-day Northern Circuit Kilimanjaro climb was thoroughly reinforced throughout the trek. It was a unique, highly rewarding experience that i will always treasure. The entire Nafika team - from the guide and chef, to my personal attendent and porters - simply could not have been any better. They were professional, highly competent, motivated to see me safely reach the summit, and interested in my well-being throughout the trek. Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Nafika Tours was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and an experience I will never forget.
From the very beginning, everything was well organized and professional. I would like to sincerely thank the entire Nafika team for their hard work, kindness, support, and professionalism throughout the trek. Every member of the team played an important role in making this adventure such a success.
A very special thank you to our guide Benson, who was absolutely fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable, supportive, patient, and always there when I needed him. His experience and encouragement gave me confidence, especially during the most challenging moments of the climb.
Reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro was an incredible and emotional moment, and I am very grateful to Nafika Tours and the entire team for helping me achieve it.
This was much more than just a mountain trek — it was a truly beautiful human experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.

Incredible experience with Nafika Tours!
Incredible experience with Nafika Tours. They were so communicative and responsive. The guides were amazing - so helpful and brought good energy to the group. They managed to get us all to the summit too! The porters and team around us were also amazing. The food was delicious and very generous portions!
Overall an amazing experience and would definitely recommend Nafika Tours. Also the route was great and helped us all to acclimatise ready for the summit. Amazing atmosphere and energy.

100% recommendation
I could not recommend Nafika highly enough. The team were amazing throughout and we had the experience of a lifetime.
From my own perspective, I can see no value or benefit in going through an overseas company. Everything is subcontracted out to local people anyway, so (personally) I would 100% recommend going directly through a local company like Nafika. They were first class.

Great company, all interactions with Nafika were timely and professional.
My husband and I, both 58, selected the 8 day Lemosho route with Nafika after reading so many positive reviews. Elias was great to deal with, even giving us a full refund when a knee injury forced a cancellation.
We then rebooked, 2 yrs later, with a stronger knee.
We were collected from the airport, then Meshack, our lead guide, checked our gear and filled any gaps.
Once you start out you quickly realise that ALL the companies use local guides and porters.
We had 18 crew, inc 3 guides for our group of 5.
Minus 34 sleeping bag provided was super cosy.
Pee bottle essential, especially on diamox. A challenge for me, 3 layers and on my knees!
Twice daily health checks, inc blood oxygen levels. The guides are well trained and experienced, and also monitor you as you go.
Altitude sickness is random and potentially serious, with Nafika your health is always the priority.
The tipping ceremony is very heart warming, we have so many great memories to treasure.
We are very grateful and proud to be Bubba and Mumma Simba to our Nafrika family.
We hope to return one day. ❤️

Nafika is brilliant, world class staff, unforgettable Kilimanjaro climb and safari
Brilliant from start to finish!
We were a group of four from Ireland (ages 28 to 70) who climbed Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route in August 2026 with Nafika, and we were paired with a lovely Canadian woman who joined our group. Communication was brilliant throughout, especially from Elias, who was always on hand to answer our questions and give advice.
We had three excellent guides, Misak, Walter and Efatha, supported by 15 amazing staff who made the whole experience unforgettable - with great food! Afterwards we went on safari, staying in fantastic accommodation with an excellent guide.
Both trips were very competitive in price for the quality we received. We couldn't recommend Nafika more highly!

Good choice
A few days ago, my friends and I climbed Kilimanjaro with Nafika Tours, and I couldn't be happier with our experience!
The company provided everything we needed to feel safe and comfortable throughout the trek. Communication was excellent. We were always well informed about the plan for each day, and there was flexibility to adjust it when needed. The food was also really tasty, which is especially important at this altitude!
The entire team was wonderful and did an amazing job, but I'd especially like to give a shoutout to a few people we had the most contact with: Justin and Frank, our guides, and Adam, our head waiter.
Justin and Frank were great guides. Throughout the trek, we had plenty of opportunities to chat with them and learned a lot about Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, and local life. They were always happy to answer our questions, which made the experience even more interesting and enjoyable.
Adam helped us with everyday things like refilling our water bottles and preparing warm water for washing. I got a bit sick during the trek and mentioned to him that I had run out of tissues. For the rest of the trip, he made sure to bring me a few extra napkins with my morning hot drink.
I can't recommend Nafika Tours highly enough! I'm sure that when I return to Tanzania to explore its other national parks, Nafika Tours will be the first company I contact.

An unforgettable Kilimanjaro experience
My friend and I completed our first-ever high-altitude climb, at Mount Kilimanjaro, and it was truly a dream come true!
A huge part of making this incredible journey possible was the exceptional support of Nafika Tours, who arranged our climb via the 7-day Machame Route.
Words can hardly describe the amazing experience we had. From the very beginning to the moment we reached the summit, everything was exceptionally well organised. We had the most wonderful, friendly, and supportive crew who made our stay at every camp comfortable and enjoyable. By the end of the trip, they no longer felt like just a crew but like one big family.
The tents were clean and comfortable with separate dining and sleeping areas, and everything was well-organised each day. The meals were delicious and well-balanced, honestly even better than my own home-cooked food! Every little thing was taken care of, allowing us to focus on the climb and enjoy every moment of this amazing adventure.
A special and heartfelt thank you to our incredible guides, Eli and Efatha. Their experience, encouragement, and expert guidance made all the difference. They tailored the climb to our pace, supported us through the challenging moments, and helped us achieve our dream of reaching the summit. Honestly, we cannot imagine having made it to the top without them. Their dedication and belief in us gave us the confidence to keep going especially on the summit day.
