Superbly organised, great value for money.
We’re so happy we chose Nafika for our Kilimanjaro climb. Everything was superbly organised, with Swiss-level punctuality, and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely made every day of the trek a pleasure.
Their singing during the final summit push kept us motivated when we needed it most, and it will stay with us forever.
A huge thank you to our guides, Justin and Frenki "Meru", for leading us safely to the summit, to Elias for the outstanding organisation, to Jonas for some of the best food we've ever had on a trek, and to all the porters for carrying everything up the steep Umbwe Route. Your hard work and positive attitude made this adventure possible.
Two tips if you're planning to climb Kilimanjaro:
The portable toilet that Nafika provides is absolutely worth it. Trust us—you'll understand why once you're on the mountain. (Not every company provides one.)
If you're fitter than expected and descend earlier than planned, be aware that the extra hotel night in Moshi is not included in the package, as it replaces a night you would otherwise have spent on the mountain.
If you descent earlier go and experience Moshi for a true glimpse of what is life looking like in this part of the world.
Thank you, Nafika, for an unforgettable adventure. We couldn't have asked for a better team!
Faultless
Used this company on the Northern Circuit. We had great communication before we even arrived in Tanzania. Transport from the airport was A1. The hotels were amazing, 3 star before the trip, even had a lovely pool, 4 star after the trek which was beautiful. We were met by the guides at the hotel who checked our equipment, luckily so as i needed better gloves which they supplied. The team work so hard and made us feel so welcome. You never know how good a company is until they have a problem, we had a major problem on the second day, will not go into details however this company were magnificent in dealing with it. Our daily itinerary had to change and this meant a lot more work for the whole team which was done with no malice whatsoever. Special mention to our chief guide called Innocence and his second in command called Walter. The one thing above all is they want you to succeed and their success rate is second to none. Not once did we get down hearten as everything was positive, we always thought we were going to make the summit. Do your homework and check this company out on other sites. Amazing.

8-Day Lemosho Route – The Adventure of a Lifetime!
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Nafika Tours was truly the adventure of a lifetime! Every day was unforgettable, with breathtaking scenery from the rainforest to the alpine desert and finally the incredible sunrise at Uhuru Peak.
Our guide, Meshaki, was outstanding. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always encouraged us throughout the climb. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and motivated to reach the summit.
The equipment provided by Nafika Tours was excellent and of a very high standard. The tents, sleeping gear, and dining setup made the trek much more comfortable than we expected. The food was delicious, varied, and there was always plenty to eat.
The entire team, including the porters and cooks, worked incredibly hard and made the experience truly special. Their kindness and dedication created memories that will last a lifetime.
I highly recommend Nafika Tours and the 8-day Lemosho Route to anyone dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro. You’ll be in the best hands!

Amazing experience
I had an outstanding experience with this company from beginning to end, both on my Kilimanjaro trek and my private safari. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team.
Before the trip even started, Elias was absolutely amazing. Communication with him was flawless—he always replied incredibly quickly, answered every single question, and made the entire planning process so easy. I arrived a few days before the trek, and he helped organize my airport transfers, extra hotel nights, and every little detail. It made traveling solo feel completely stress-free.
The Kilimanjaro experience exceeded every expectation I had. The entire team was phenomenal. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had on a mountain. Every meal was delicious, and they also did a wonderful job accommodating different dietary restrictions within our group.
The guides, porters, cooks, and everyone involved in the logistics worked incredibly hard every single day. We would arrive at camp to find everything already set up and ready for us, making such a demanding expedition as comfortable as possible. Their attention to detail and level of service truly went above and beyond.
One detail I especially loved was the beautiful summit medal they give you in addition to the official Kilimanjaro certificate. It’s such a thoughtful keepsake and shows how much they care about making the experience special from beginning to end.
Our guides—Efatha, Meshack, and Benson—were exceptional. Each had a different guiding style, and together they complemented each other perfectly. Throughout the trek they constantly checked on us, encouraged us, monitored our hydration, and made sure we kept the right pace to maximize our chances of reaching the summit. On summit night, they divided up based on everyone’s pace so that each person received the support they needed. I genuinely felt that they cared about every single climber succeeding safely, and that made a huge difference.
After Kilimanjaro, I also did a two-day private safari, and it was just as incredible. Since I was traveling solo, feeling safe and comfortable was especially important to me, and they absolutely delivered. My guide, Nicholas, was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and always made sure I was comfortable. The safari vehicle was very comfortable, and the lodge where I stayed was beautiful.
Traveling alone can sometimes feel intimidating, but throughout the entire trip I always felt supported. It was reassuring to know that if I needed anything, there was always someone I could trust to help.
I truly have nothing negative to say about my experience—only gratitude. I would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. I’m already hoping to come back to visit the Serengeti, and when I do, I will absolutely book with them again.
Thank you for making this one of the most unforgettable adventures of my life!

The best experience in Tanzania climbing Kilimanjaro
I travelled with 3 other friends June 12th - 22nd 2026 and was combined with a total team of 7 people who turned out to be brilliant. In addition the porter support team totalled 25 guys, massive operation! Nafika tours took care of all airport transfers and hotel in the beginning. The hotel was very clean, comfortable with a great restaurant, pool and bar. What followed was an unforgettable 7 day trek across rain forests, moorland and artic regions of Kilimanjaro. Our tents were carried up to each camp everyday and re- set , food was fresh with the right balance of carbs and protein, water was boiled. And we were provided with hot water bottles at night making those cold nights more comfortable. The guides were the best, with great knowledge on plants / trees and animals we spotted on the way. We were tested twice per day for oxygen saturation, these guys took our health seriously and carried oxygen cylinders as back up. We all made the summit due to their songs and humour which carried us along. I cannot recommend Nafica enough as real Tanzania based tour guides that give you the real experience for the right price.

Small dedicated team
Our 3 pax group booked a 6-day Marangu Route trek and a 5D safari game drive with Nafika Tours.
Elias did very well in this regard and he had planned the entire experience for our small private group. Elias was in constant communication with us before our arrival into Tanzania and he greated us at our hotel upon arrival.
The Trek: Summiting Kilimanjaro. Our 6-day trek on the Marangu Route was a success. Backed by a great crew. Our guides, Eli and assistant guide Nemes were knowledgeable, and attentive especially during our day of summit. A special shoutout goes to our most beloved Alpha, our waiter, who keep us fueled and comfortable.
Our porters (Patrick, Peter Parker, Dula) and "Peter the cook" with the rest of the support team worked seamlessly behind the scenes.
The Safari: Checking Off the Big Five. Our same group transitioned to a 5D safari game drive led by our guide, Kevin. Kevin has a great eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw the entire Big Five.
Even better, four out of the five encounters were incredibly close proximity, making for great photos and memories.
Kudos to the team at Nafika Tours!
