Caping Safari
5/5

Our family (mother, father and 2 children - 13 and 14 years old) were on camping safari and slept in small tents in Serengeti and Ngorogoro and we didn´t miss a thing! Mike (the owner) took good care of us from the arrival in Arusha airport to the flight back from Arusha. He is extremely service minded and he helpful. Our guide and chef then took good care of us on the safari trip. We saw Big Five and of course and a lot of other animals, we learnt a lot about all animals and at dinner time our guide also told us "scary" safari stories, very exciting especially for the kids! The food was also very good. And our chef was also a very nice guy! They both made the safari to a very nice trip. I can also really recommend the tent safari, you feel very close to the nature and it is really exciting at night time! We also want to recommend you to go with Northern Circuit Adventure.

Perfect Safari Experience (and more)
5/5

Quite simply faultless, from start to end.

Michael was an absolute delight to deal with, not only organising a terrific safari, but also buses from Nairobi and to Dar, as well as additional nights' accommodation as needed.

The safari itself was incredible. Everyone on the tour (a terrific group of six well-matched people in a very spacious jeep) asked the same questions: Why on earth do people pay for fancy dan safaris? And how on earth do fancy dan safaris cost so much more? We had a similar jeep to the posh people; everyone had a great view; we had a wonderful driver; good food; and we saw all the animals we could have wanted (the exception being a leopard that came down from its tree while we were beetling along the road to find where it had been spotted).

For those wondering (as I was): the accommodation was great. Not what I'd call budget. The first two nights were in a permanent campsite, which meant it was pretty close to a hotel. Private tent with shower/loo under a permanent wooden roof (it looked awesome), plus food cooked in the restaurant there. The other nights were tented under the stars, but with a nice mattress and pillow provided. We had help putting the tent up (took a grand total of about five minutes) and everything was taken down and packed up for us while we were out on a game drive. I much preferred the tented experience to what I assume a lodge is like: felt a lot more adventurous, but was comfy enough. No spiders/snakes/scorpions etc.

I half-assumed the reviews of Northern Circuit Adventure were too good to be true, and that I'd have my girlfriend shouting at me for booking us on a cramped bus ride through jam-packed roads somewhere near the Serengeti with someone on a megaphone shouting that there was a lion somewhere in the distance.

But nope, we had an absolutely perfect time. Honestly could have expected or asked for more. I would highly highly hiiiighly recommend to anyone else. Save yourself a lot of stress, and just go with Michael's operation. They offer the 'standard' park itineraries that you'll see in tons of places, and they provided a faultless safari experience. I really can't expect that anyone else is better.

Thank you to Michael, Elias and Musa.

4 day safari
5/5

Just before Christmas, we went for a four-day safari with Northern Circuit. It was a perfect experience. We flew to Kilimanjaro airport, where some-one was waiting for us. In Arusha, Michael told us how everything was going to work. We had a jeep for the five of us, with our own cook and driver. The food we had there, was the best during our whole stay in Tanzania. We slept two days in tented camps (perfect accomodation, you have your own bed, toilet and shower per tent) and two days in smalll tents, in the middle of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw the big five and a lot more (big migration). We felt very comfortable. Northern Circuit Adventure is very much recommended by me. Michael responds very quick at questions send to him by mail. He is nice guy. The safari was very good value for money.

Great safari - Tarangire+Serengeti+Ngorogoro
5/5

As there seem to be millions of safari operators around Arusha I studied some trip advisor reviews and then chose Northern Circuit Adventure, for a 5 day / 4 night safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro, who happened to have a group I could join (Sept 4th-8th 2015). It was a great trip, Mike the owner took care of us in Arusha, our driver/guide Elias was very competent and nice, our old Landcruiser worked (didn´t on my last safari in Masai Mara), the food really good (thanks Sweetbart!) - so basically everything worked perfectly. Only room for improvement - warmer sleeping bags for the 1 cold night on the Ngorogoro crater rim (2300 meter above see level).

Fantastic, well organised, great staff and a value for money tour.
5/5

My wife and I went on a 5 day / 4 night tour of Tanzania in March 2015. After doing alot of research online prior to leaving Australia we found that Northern Circuit Adventure covered all the same places that the other safari companies did but cost a lot less. For this reason we decided to give them a go and were certainly not disappointed.

The manager Mike was great to deal with via email prior to us leaving and was able to customise a tour based on the dates that suited us and places we wanted to go. He organised somebody to pick us up from the airport and take us to his office and then the hotel in Arusha.

Our tour itself was also even better then expected. The driver and tour guide (Elias) was extremely knowledgable and managed to spot pretty much all the animals we could hope to see. Our cook Sweetbart dished up tasty meals every night and breakfast in the morning, as well as providing plenty of laughs and conversation during our dinners etc. These guys (along with the animals of course) really did make the tour a very personalised and enjoyable experience.

We would highly recommend saving your $$$ and giving these guys a go. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Best of the best
5/5

It's a shame more people tend to visit South Africa rather than Tanzania for the safari adventure. I've been to both, and my safari in Tanzania put Kruger to shame! The scenery in Tanzania is so different between all the parks, and the unique opportunities you have here simply cannot be found anywhere else- seeing a lake with a million flamingos or the wildebeest migration. And so on. Absolutely incredible! We visited four parks- Serengeti, Tarangire, N'goro Crater and Lake Manyara, and it has been one of the best vacations I've taken. Well worth every dime, and we were well taken care of by our guide, Solomon, and our cook, Gabriel. They were fantastic, always stopping for photo opps or the many unexpected happenings, explaining African history and wildlife and were just easy guys to talk to. I will recommend this company and safari in Tanzania to anyone and everyone looking for the African experience.

I live in Mozambique, and have traveled around Africa a fair bit. Tanzania is at the top!! Thanks for an unbelievable trip!

A wonderfull Eight-Day-Safari
5/5

Asante Sana!
Our safari was a dream! We experienced a 24 – hours – all – inclusive – service. Who would ever expect a three – star – menu at a campsite in Serengeti!? Our cook Ben real did surprise us ever every day with new meals! Our guide and driver Isaac was well informed and we were always at the right places to see all the animals. It is not surprising, that we saw all the big five and additional Cheetas and a lots of other animals. At every day of our eight days safari we had a new highlight. We real enjoyed a very individual safari and never had the feeling of just being part in a standard program.

We were the only guys traveling far into the Western - Serengeti to see the migration and during our morning safari we were the first ones to find two Cheetas! Very impressive, also the night at Simba Campsite with a view into the Ngorongoro Crater. To sum up, we had experience for our life. Thanks again Mike for taking care of us! We really “felt safe in your hands!! (As we say in Germany) and wish you all the best for your future!

Great experience
5/5

We have been with three friends on a safari organized by Michael from Nothern Circuit Adventure. It was a six day trip to three national parks: Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Additionally we have visited Olduvai Gorge and three tribes: Masai (very briefly), Hadza and Datoga. We were accompanied for time of the trip by a driver (also being a guide) Justin and a cook Sweetbart.

We all think this was a fantastic adventure. The plan was well balanced between exploring nature, free time, meeting native people etc. We have seen more animals than expected and more importantly experienced much more than we thought. Justin and Sweetbart were very helpful, thinking how to make our trip the best and never complain for any inconvenience (like our delay). It was interesting to talk with them about nature, Tanzania, Africe and life :). Justin is professional in his guiding skills, we has a broad knowledge about african nature and also wants to learn more. Sweetbart prepared really nice meals, we didn't have any stomach problems despite coming from very different place (Poland). Michael, the director, was helpful during the prepartion. He responded quickly to my messages on WhatsApp and his answers were to the point. It is important to emphasise that our safari trip was much less extereme than we expected. We felt safe and also importantly level of hygiene in toilets etc. was high on camping places. I trully recommend trip with Northern Circuit Adventure and especially with Justin and Sweetbart.
