Good trip
We had a good trip with Simon as our guide. They were very communicative, responded to all our questions. Simon also helped change our itinerary during the trip, to make it more convenient for our flight schedule. We had some trouble with the hotel not understanding what vegan food was the first night, but Simon helped communicate with them and we did not have any trouble with our meals after that.
Overall we would recommend this safari group.

Excellent and reliable tour operator
We recently traveled with Kafu Safari for an unforgettable journey through Uganda and Rwanda, exploring Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Bunyonyi, and Volcanoes National Park. The trip was impeccably organized, with every detail thoughtfully planned, ensuring a safe and seamless experience throughout. Our guide, Champion, was exceptional—his background as a former gorilla ranger added incredible expertise and insight to our gorilla trekking and wildlife adventures, making them truly memorable. Kafu Safari is a highly professional agency, always quick to respond to questions during the planning phase and beyond. They were also incredibly flexible, going above and beyond to accommodate changes to our itinerary—for example, they rearranged our original plan to ensure we could meet up with friends at one of the stops. Excellent customized safari through Rwanda and Uganda
Highlight of the trip was the visit of a gorilla family in Uganda. Our guide was super nice and made our trip an excellent experience.

Well planned and expertly executed.
Our tour was a great value and we stayed in some very nice places. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. He knew where and when to be to have a high percentage chance of seeing animals. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the whole experience.

Excellent Ugandan Safari
Simon was an excellent driver and guide. He answered all of our questions and was very respectful to us and all of the people we encountered. Kafu had a great itinerary, we loved the early mornings to see the animals at their most active.

Deogratius at Kafu Safaris replied to my message promptly regarding a 3 day safari tour to Murchison Falls NP, which I booked while in Uganda at short notice. He explained everything I needed to know and always replied quickly to any queries I had. I felt confident about my booking.
Our driver and guide Ivan was friendly and attentive from when he picked us up from our accommodation in Entebbe to dropping us at our accommodation in Fort Portal 3 days later. Ivan is a very knowledgeable and experienced guide and a lovely person. He did everything he could to make sure we had a good safari experience and because of his experience as a guide, we were lucky enough to see a female lion and a leopard, both of which were relaxing and close up, so we were able to watch them for a while. We also saw plenty of giraffes, elephants, buffalo and a variety of antelopes. The accommodation that Kafu Safaris use (Nkundwa Nile View Lodge) is excellent and a very good choice. The tour was very good value and Kafu Safaris go above and beyond to give the best service they can. Thank you Kafu Safaris and especially Ivan, for a wonderful tour.

Excellent trip, well organised and smooth (except the roads in Uganda :) )
Kafu we really responsive when we were trying to plan our trip allowing us to make additions and changes to suit us.
We were met in Kigali by an excellent guide who enjoyed showing us his country.
We were in mid range lodges which we very comfortable and good value.
Seeing Gorillas in Uganda was one of those great life experiences.
