Once in a Lifetime Experience with Kafu Safaris
From the first enquiry we made to Kafu about booking this tour, the communication was excellent. Kafu were always quick to reply to any questions we had and provided a very detailed itinerary of the tour we were booking. Our tour guide Deo was fantastic and made us feel welcome and informed from the very start of our tour. We can't speak highly enough of Deo for being a professional, caring and friendly guide. He always went out of his way to make arrangements and adjustments for us and allowed us to be flexible with our itinerary, always providing guidance and great company along the way. This helped make our experience even more special.
The accommodation we stayed in was of a really good standard and it was clear that Kafu put a lot of research into choosing the best accommodation across both Rwanda and Uganda. We were really impressed with how much we were able to pack into our 6 day itinerary, with everyday feeling like another once in a lifetime experience! Some of the days are long but well worth it and made you feel like you're getting the maximum out of your time. Given the quality of the accommodation, food, itinerary and the professionalism of the guide and overall service, we felt this tour provided excellent value for money.
Overall we had an amazing and truly unforgettable time and would definitely recommend Kafu Safaris to anyone. We'd love to return for another tour with them in the future.

Felt like I was in very good hands and everything was taken care of, all I had to do was turn up!
From the very start the company was very professional and I felt like I was in good hands. Having originally booked with a company that ended up hardly responding or was confusing it luckily fell through and I discovered Kafu. I wish I spotted them first as my first communication with them was great and my faith was restored. When arriving in Rwanda my guide was welcoming and sharing facts on the way to Uganda. The gorilla trekking was absolutely amazing and we were put in a small group of 5 so had plenty of opportunities for photos. The whole experience was incredible and worth every penny!

Great Safari Experience with Kafu Safaris!
We had an amazing experience with Kafu Safari Tours and can wholeheartedly recommend them! From the very first contact, the communication was clear, fast, and very professional. Every question was answered in detail, and we always felt well informed and supported.
Our driver, Emmanuel, was absolutely fantastic. He was punctual, kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. His driving was excellent, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible sightings and experiences during the safari.
The whole tour was perfectly organized. Transfers were smooth, the schedule was realistic, and everything ran reliably without stress. The hotel selection was wonderful – comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully chosen. We felt very welcome everywhere and could truly relax.
In terms of value for money, the tour was excellent. The quality of service, organization, and accommodation was more than worth it.
Overall, this was a truly memorable safari experience. Thank you to Emmanuel and the whole Kafu Safari Tours team – we would book with you again anytime!

Excellent trip, well organised and smooth (except the roads in Uganda :) )
Kafu we really responsive when we were trying to plan our trip allowing us to make additions and changes to suit us.
We were met in Kigali by an excellent guide who enjoyed showing us his country.
We were in mid range lodges which we very comfortable and good value.
Seeing Gorillas in Uganda was one of those great life experiences.

Deogratius at Kafu Safaris replied to my message promptly regarding a 3 day safari tour to Murchison Falls NP, which I booked while in Uganda at short notice. He explained everything I needed to know and always replied quickly to any queries I had. I felt confident about my booking.
Our driver and guide Ivan was friendly and attentive from when he picked us up from our accommodation in Entebbe to dropping us at our accommodation in Fort Portal 3 days later. Ivan is a very knowledgeable and experienced guide and a lovely person. He did everything he could to make sure we had a good safari experience and because of his experience as a guide, we were lucky enough to see a female lion and a leopard, both of which were relaxing and close up, so we were able to watch them for a while. We also saw plenty of giraffes, elephants, buffalo and a variety of antelopes. The accommodation that Kafu Safaris use (Nkundwa Nile View Lodge) is excellent and a very good choice. The tour was very good value and Kafu Safaris go above and beyond to give the best service they can. Thank you Kafu Safaris and especially Ivan, for a wonderful tour.

Excellent Ugandan Safari
Simon was an excellent driver and guide. He answered all of our questions and was very respectful to us and all of the people we encountered. Kafu had a great itinerary, we loved the early mornings to see the animals at their most active.

Kafu Safaris were very professional in booking our safaris responding to emails quickly, and changing the itinerary when required to do so. The Safari was veryu well run with excellent accomodation and tour guides who allowed us to throroughly enjoy the beautiful scenery and wild animals!

Well planned and expertly executed.
Our tour was a great value and we stayed in some very nice places. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. He knew where and when to be to have a high percentage chance of seeing animals. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the whole experience.
