Amazing safari
Our 8-day Tanzania safari with Summer Winter Africa Adventures was nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email, the response was quick and thorough, making us feel confident about the planning. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our guide team – Festo and Noreen – who turned out to be the heart of the entire trip.
Festo is an absolute master behind the wheel. His driving skills on rough terrains and muddy tracks were extraordinary; we never felt unsafe even during intense game drives. He had an eagle eye for spotting animals from afar and always positioned the vehicle perfectly for the best photo angles. Noreen, on the other hand, brought warmth and deep knowledge to every moment. Her cheerful personality made long drives feel short, and her encyclopedic understanding of bird calls, animal behavior, and local ecology enriched every sighting. She could name every tree and explain the migration patterns with such clarity that we felt like junior biologists.
The highlight came on just our second day in the Serengeti. By noon, we had already completed the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the elusive black rhino – a feat many safari-goers wait weeks for. But the real magic happened that afternoon: we witnessed not one, but two separate river crossings of wildebeest and zebras within a single afternoon. The thunder of hooves, the crocodile ambushes, and the sheer determination of the herds left us speechless. Both Festo and Noreen coordinated seamlessly, anticipating the crossing points and getting us front-row seats without disturbing the animals.
The vehicle was well-maintained, with pop-up roofs and charging ports. The lodge and tented camps chosen were comfortable and authentic, with great food and friendly staff. Considering the quality of guiding, accommodation, and the raw wonders we saw, the price felt more than fair. I cannot recommend Summer Winter Africa Adventures enough – they delivered reliability, professionalism, and genuine passion. A thousand thanks to Festo and Noreen for making our dream safari a reality.

We had an absolutely unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania, largely thanks to our outstanding guide Festo and trainee guide Noreen.
Festo is incredibly talented and warm-hearted. He has an unmatched eye for spotting hidden wildlife and can instantly identify every animal we came across. He patiently shared vivid explanations about animal habits and answered all our endless questions without rushing us. He always reserved plenty of time for us to take photos and observe creatures quietly, delivering amazing emotional support throughout the whole trip. His passion and careful service made every game drive relaxing and joyful.
Noreen, the trainee guide, also impressed us deeply. Her fluent English made communication effortless. She kindly helped us take perfect photos and supplemented wildlife knowledge with constant bright smiles.
Thanks to their joint efforts, we were lucky enough to spot all the Big Five. We highly recommend Festo to anyone visiting Tanzania. His professionalism and kindness turn a regular safari into a once-in-a-lifetime journey. We will definitely request him again if we come back.

Unforgettable Wildlife Trip Led by Professional Guide Festo
This Tanzania safari journey has turned out to be the most unforgettable wildlife adventure of my life, and all the credit goes to our incredible guide Festo.
Festo is incredibly professional, patient and warm-hearted throughout the whole trip. He has an eagle eye for wildlife and rich experience in the savanna. Thanks to his sharp observation and expert route planning, we successfully spotted the full Big Five during our game drives, plus huge herds of gentle elephants, towering giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and countless other wild animals. He always parked the vehicle at the perfect spot for us to take clear, stunning photos, and shared vivid, interesting knowledge about animal habits, local ecology and Tanzanian culture along the way.
His service and attitude were flawless from start to finish. He was thoughtful and attentive to all our needs, always checking whether we felt comfortable, preparing water and small snacks for long safari drives, and answering every question we raised with great enthusiasm. No matter early morning departures or late afternoon explorations, he stayed energetic and friendly, never rushing us to move on when we wanted to watch wild animals for longer.

Safari with Summer Winter
My trip to Tanzania was a real eye-opener. Thanks to the expertise of our guide and driver, we were able to get up close to wildlife that I had previously only seen in documentaries. The people here are all very warm and friendly. Thanks to the plan the team put together, we get to observe something different every day. The price is also reasonable.
A potential issue for all travelers: there is a lot of dust along the way. Drivers here are accustomed to driving with the windows open, and the roof of the safari vehicle remains open during the tour, which allows a significant amount of dust to enter the cabin. This can cause personal belongings to become covered in dust and may irritate your respiratory system.

Saw all big fives! Deeply experience the culture, animals and humanities of Tanzania
For Agency choosing, I was recommended by Rednote platform. At the beginning I also compared many travel agencies, but Summer Winter turned out to be the most cost-effective and the most satisfactory in terms of its itinerary design. According to our needs, besides the most important part Safari, they also arranged a one-day trip to Kilimanjaro, hot springs, coffee, cultural experiences and so on. During the planning stage, boss Johnson went out of his way to coordinate and revise for us. The final plan was extremely satisfactory.
The experience after the official start of the trip was also very good. The guides Pancrass and Norin were both very nice. Pancrass had an extensive network of contacts, and he helped us arrive at the location of the animals in time. We saw almost all the animals we wanted to see, and also received very detailed explanations, allowing us to better understand the habits of the animals. His driving skills were excellent, also very humorous and cheerful, took good care of us. The two guides gave us a very satisfactory experience!
Summer Winter also helped me reserve a restaurant for a birthday celebration. It was very surprising. It was the first time I celebrated my birthday in Africa. Truly very touching and unforgettable.
