The Best Safari Company in Tanzania!
Our safari with Raymond African Safaris was truly one of the very best experiences of our lives!
My husband and I and two of our teenage daughters embarked on a three day Tanzanian safari with Raymond in July. We flew from Arusha to Seronera Airstrip and were met by Raymond to begin our journey through Serengeti National Park and onto Ngorongoro Conservation Area. At all times throughout our journey we felt safe, welcome, and well-informed.
Raymond is extremely knowledgable about the animals, the geology, and the local culture and this was a real highlight, as we had loads of observations and questions that Raymond was very happy to answer and elaborate upon. He made sure we saw as much as we could and that we had as much time as we wanted/needed to admire all the awe-inspiring sights and sounds. The landscape was spectacular as we traveled around the Serengeti and through the Ngorongoro Crater over the course of our safari. We saw the 'Big Five' and countless birds and animals in their natural habitat. Raymond prepared delicious lunches to enjoy in the wilderness and our lodges were spectacular.
On top of Raymond's expertise on safari, he is also an excellent driver. We felt safe with him behind the wheel at all times. The safari vehicle was well-equipped and comfortable.

We spent seven days with Raymond this past December, and it was by far the best travel experience we’ve ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable, not only about wildlife and the park but also about culture, food, politics, and virtually any topic you might be curious about. This level of insight is a rare quality among safari guides.
Beyond that, he maintained the jeep impeccably, ensuring it was always clean and well-stocked. Any extra requests we had, he went out of his way to accommodate. This was truly one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve ever had, and I deeply appreciate all the special moments we shared with him.
