A professional and well-run company.
We saw all the animals we wanted and stayed in safe, nice places. The price was affordable and the variety was plenty. Problems were minor. I would definitely choose this company again and recommend it to anyone. Our driver/guide, Stanley, was reliable and amazing in his ability to spot wildlife.

Exceptional value and experience
"Now that we have returned from Tanzania, my husband and I wish to thank you so very much for arranging our amazing trip. We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Elyasi National Park and Lake Manyara. We loved all the accommodations you suggested to us, especially Eileen’s Trees Inn and Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp. First rate adventure!!!

A wonderful Safari!
I recommend Richard and Tanzania Timeless Safaris to anyone who wants to take one. He took care of all details and was very helpful before we left the US. He was also very flexible in handling needs that arose while we were there.
I would also strongly recommend our guide Stanley, if he is available. He was outstanding.
Our Safari was also an excellent value for the money, compared to some other providers we saw online.
One of my friends kept track of how many species we saw - 135! We also enjoyed spending a day visiting Bushman, Maasai and Datooga villages.

Good bang for the buck!
Our tour was a 13 day/12 night adventure, covering Tarangire, Central and Northern Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, plus a side trip visiting 3 different tribes. A highlight for me was actually visiting the indigenous Hazabe tribe. The safari itself was great. Saw the Big 5, although the rhinos were very far away. Very much enjoyed witnessing the Great Migration of wildebeest, crossing the Mara River. The camps, food, and service were all excellent. Our driver was very knowledgeable on identifying game and birds; plus, he was a great mechanic - which can be very handy if the jeep develops mechanical issues, given the rough and dusty roads. My only downside, was there were a couple of issues with lodging snafus, and the jeep itself (a Toyota Landcruiser) could have been in better shape. One window couldn’t be opened/closed without the help of the driver, and when dust is flying about (often), that’s a problem. Another window was hard to roll up/down. The roof top only had one of two locks working, and one gas shock was broken. Arm rests were stuck in the “up” position, and seat belts were inoperable.
Other than that, the safari itself was great!!

Posted on Sep 24, 2025Dear Ray,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback and for rating us so highly. We’re delighted that you enjoyed your safari overall, and we truly appreciate your honest comments about the vehicle.
We sincerely apologize for the dust and the armrests not functioning properly. Please rest assured that we have already passed this on to our operations team to ensure the vehicles are checked more thoroughly and kept in the best condition possible for future guests.
As you experienced, the road to Serengeti can be quite bumpy and dusty — it is part of the adventure of reaching such a remote and wild destination — but we fully understand how it may affect comfort, and we will continue to do our best to minimize the inconvenience.
We are grateful for your understanding and for giving us the opportunity to host you. It was our pleasure to share Tanzania’s beauty with you, and we hope to welcome you back for an even smoother safari in the future.

Best tour company in the world
We took a two-day safari tour with Timeless Safari. It was the best experience of my life. Two days is normally a very short time, but we were lucky, and our tour driver took us to all the important events, and we saw incredible things. The hotel we stayed in was very luxurious, and we had no problems. The vehicle had plenty of drinks and food prepared for us. I don't know what else to say, but if I come back, I'll choose this tour again. It was incredible.
