The animals are great, people are nice, tours are ok
The only advantage of an all-inclusive tour group is that you don't have to arrange everything yourself, but that’s the only good.
As an average daily itinerary of 200usd, with buses still being used between cities, the hotel in Nairobi is very old and dirty. This is obviously not worth it at all.
And almost every day, people in the car were changing. They try to fill the entire vehicle as much as possible. So you need to wait sometimes.
The worst part is that the plan is fixed. Even if there are no animals in this place at this season, we still can't change anything.
Although traveling independently in Kenya is not that easy, I would definitely choose to travel independently next time.

Posted on Nov 10, 2025Dear Turkey,
Thank you for sharing your feedback and for taking the time to write about your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations.
Please note that for our budget group joining safaris, accommodations in Nairobi are not included in the package — clients usually arrange their own hotels before and after the safari. We are happy to assist with recommendations upon request.
Regarding transportation between Kenya and Tanzania, all budget group safaris use shared shuttle services. This helps keep costs affordable for travelers who wish to experience a safari at a lower price point, though it may sometimes require waiting for all participants to board.
As for the fixed itinerary, group joining safaris follow a pre-set schedule agreed upon by all participants and partner lodges, which unfortunately limits flexibility in changing destinations on short notice.
We truly value your input and will continue working to improve the overall experience for our guests. We hope to have another opportunity to serve you in the future — perhaps on a more flexible private safari, where the itinerary and pace can be fully customized to your preferences.
Warm regards,
Operations Manager – Pedaso Safaris

Going above and beyond to ensure we were looked after, comfortable and safe.
The safari experience was something I will never forget. David was an amazing tour operator, we came across a few issues and David gave us so much of his time ensuring we were okay. Both my girlfriend and I are extremely grateful.

The safari was amazing thanks to David and all his fantastic staff.
We completed a 9D 8N safari from Kenya to Tanzania and the whole safari was exceptional. The food exceeded our expectations and anll our tour guides and the staff at our accomodation each night were so welcoming and friendly. David regularly checked in with us and made sure we were happy and enjoying the best safari possible! Deo is David’s main contact in Tanzania who helped us tremendously and personally ensured we were well looked after. We saw an amazing range of animals including a rare black rhino thanks to the hard work of our guide in the Masai Mara. The cars were comfortable and allowed you to get up close to the animals and peer out the roof. Thank you so much David :)

It was an incredible experience.
My safari experience was simply spectacular. Seeing wildlife up close in its natural habitat was magical: lions, elephants, giraffes… every moment exceeded my expectations. David's organization was excellent, the guides very professional, and the itinerary perfectly planned. Without a doubt, an unforgettable adventure that I recommend to anyone seeking nature and excitement.

Great adventure with Pedaso Safaris
Great adventure with Pedaso Safaris, extraordinary encounters in both Kenya and Tanzania. Smooth communication before, during and even after the tour. Good value for money (budget tour).

Excellent safaris
We chose the 9-day Kenya-Tanzania safari tour. It was enough to see the Big Five and more. Everything was organized clearly and according to the itinerary. The safari jeep drivers were great. We also enjoyed our camping in Tanzania. We knew the basic accommodations included shared showers and toilets, but everything was clean and there was hot water. Thank you for everything.

Memorable safari adventure: good value, smooth, and well-organised
I found Pedaso Safaris to offer the best value for money for my budget 13-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania, and the communication with David was far above and beyond what I had expected - he was kind, clear, and helpful in his responses and always answered any questions or feedback very quickly. Honestly, it is some of the best customer service I have ever experienced!
The Kenya portion of the safari was especially smooth (not including the bumpy roads on the way to the Maasai Mara :p) with Martin as our excellent guide and driver - the vehicle was spacious and we saw a lot of animals. The Tanzania portion of the trip was spectacular in terms of wildlife and national parks, but the vehicle was a bit smaller and there were a few minor communication issues with the guide/driver there, including a request for specific amounts of tips that seemed a little bit pushy. However, this was not the fault of Pedaso Safaris and simply an internal matter that was resolved quickly. I especially enjoyed the Tanzanian accommodation, as sleeping in tents in an open camp was an unforgettable experience among wild animals. And despite this being a budget safari, we actually stayed in some very comfortable accommodation, with decent food provided too.
Overall, I can only recommend Pedaso Safaris to others and say that it was an experience I will never forget!

SUPER AMAZING ADVENTURE!!!
Do not look for anything else if you are after a memorable Safari experience. The whole experience was an unforgettable one from beginning to end. Needless to say, David, the trip organiser is truly professional, very helpful and responsive. Any questions since the first chat, to during the trip through the last day were immediately answered, I really felt valued, safe and cared for. I travelled solo and have also asked David to make minor changes in my itinerary and of course, he managed to make my requests happen. The Safari itself was an incredible adventure which is difficult to explain in few words!!! I got to see soooo many animals everywhere. It truly felt like living in a real life movie! The driver, guides and chefs were all amazing always ready to help and make your day superb. They were all really knowledgeable, always eagerly looking to spot different animals while also preparing wonderful and delicious food especially while we were camping... I really wasn't expecting such nice meals everyday. Every accommodation was perfect, from beautiful rooms, to amazing Safari lodges, to unforgettable wild camping tents. Everything went smooth from start to finish, David picked me up from my hotel on the first day and it all started from there. 14 days full of beautiful landscapes, scenery, endless animal encounters, daily adventures and abundant meals for breakfasts, lunch and dinner. I really ate a lot! Don't doubt it just go for it. Well done to David, so grateful to have met you and organized such an adventure with you. Truly worth every single euro spent. An adventure carved into my heart forever <3

Amazing safari, high-class assistance
Pedaso Safaris absolutely overdelivered what they promised!
The 14 day safari was absolutely amazing. The drivers and guides were all very skilled. The safari experience did not underdeliver compared to a high-end 5* safari agencies - while for a fraction of the price.
We were able to spot the big five, but seen so much more than we could have imagined.
The budget safari does of course mean some accommodation is quite basic, such as the camp in the Serengeti (which was an experience in itself). But overall we stayed at very comfortable, and to be honest: better than expected, lodges.
Where Pedaso Safaris, and Dave in specific, really stood out was in their punctuality and accessibility. Of course during a trip of 14 days some things might go unexpected, but Dave was always instantly(!) available and managed to solve or answer any of our questions.
This level of customer service really deserves a medal.
I cannot recommend Pedaso Safaris enough. I know for a fact, whenever I’ll return Pedaso will be the first I’ll contact.
To Dave, and the whole crew that assisted us: you were all wonderful, thank you for this amazing experience ❤️

Economic, reliable, continuous contact, good payment terms, good hotels
I chose the option of 2 weeks safari Kenya and Tanzania.
I was looking for a travel agency that would allow me to travel alone at a reasonable price. Pedaso had a formula where people signed up for destinations according to their interests, and that allowed me to get a reasonable price. I met many travel companions. I chose the option of good hotels (large tents or chalets), and that’s exactly what it was like: all of them were fantastic, well suited to their surroundings—some rustic, others more luxurious—outside or inside national parks depending on the location, all with very good service.
The only exception was the Charity in Arusha (Tanzania), where I stayed the first night. On the last night, after returning from the safari in Tanzania, I booked another hotel myself (Palace Arusha, which was very good). After staying in wonderful settings and good accommodations, the Charity stands out in a very negative way and I do not recommend it. It looks much better online than it actually is.
As for the parks visited, they were fantastic—very beautiful, with lots of wildlife. The people were friendly. The organization and the 4x4 vehicles were better in Tanzania than in Kenya. In fact, in Kenya one of the 4x4 drivers rejected one day to take me to my hotel and offered me another one!! (whatever he decided!!!), but Pedaso solved it and took a taxi for me to go to my hotel.
The return trip from Arusha (Tanzania) to Nairobi is done on a rather old local scheduled bus, but everything is well organized, from hotel pickup to boarding the bus, crossing the border, and arriving in Nairobi.
I never felt unsafe at any time, always following the advice given.
On my own, in Nairobi I stayed at a hotel in the Westlands neighborhood.
Contact with the Pedaso agent was immediate whenever I had questions about the trip organization, as was contact with the agent in Tanzania.
I recommended to buy SIM cards to be connected to the agency or for any emergency. WIFI was good in the hotels anyway.
