Incredible trip to Uganda with a great guide
I recently did a 10 day trip around Uganda with Alonso and it was one of my favourite trips yet. Uganda is such an incredible country and the itinerary was perfect to see the beauty of it. The game drives in Murchison Falls were definitely the highlight. Alonso was such a great guide, made sure we were safe and happy at all times, as well as being so knowledgeable about Uganda, the region and all the animals we saw

Unforgettable Big 7 Safari Experiences!
We are very happy that we found Munda Africa! Alonso has been extremely helpful and friendly from the start and created an amazing itinerary for us. We traveled as a group of four friends and didn't have a lot of time, only 8 days. Alonso enabled us to see and experience as much of Uganda in this short time as possible. He took all our wishes into consideration and combined them with his extensive knowledge of his home country. We couldn't have asked for a better travel organiser and guide! He explained a lot about the culture, history, politics and nature of not only Uganda but the other East African countries and answered all our questions patiently. He was also extremely attentive and soon started to anticipate our wishes - such as surprising us with a cold bottle of beer after a hike, a must for any self respecting German :-) We were especially happy to be able to support a local business for this trip and can only recommend Alonso and his company, Munda Africa, most warmly.
Our itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda. Visit the Genocide memorial in Kigali. Cross the border to Uganda. (Five to five hotel in Kigali)
Day 2 - Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park. (Bweza Gorilla Lodge in Bwindi)
Day 3 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park, Ishasha sector. Game drive. (Enjojo Lodge)
Day 4 - Transfer to the northern sector in Queen Elizabeth Park, boat tour of the Kazinga Channel. (Bush Lodge)
Day 5 - Morning game drive, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. Community experience in Kibale. (Bweza Kibale Lodge)
Day 6 - Chimpanzee trekking. Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. (Bamboo Village)
Day 7 - Morning game drive, Nile boat tour, top of the Murchison Falls. Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. (Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary)
Day 8 - Walking safari with Rhinos. Transfer to Entebbe. Relaxing at the pool. (2 Friends Hotel in Entebbe).
Day 9 - Flight back home.
We can recommend this itinerary and all the accomodations without hesitation. The food has always been very good, if not excellent. To anybody who has the time and necessary pennies, we'd recommend visiting the country for longer. There are so many more activities, hikes especially, to do in Uganda! The next time we'll visit, we'd love to explore the eastern and maybe northern parts of the country. We're already in talks with Alonso to plan this next trip!
Another very positive aspect of Munda Africa is Alonso's extensive knowledge of not only Uganda, his home, but also the othern East African countries. We're already planning traveling to Tansania and Kenya with him as well.
So, it only remains for us to wish you the best of experiences visiting this lovely and friendly country with Munda Africa!

Wonderful experiences with a completely reliable tour operator
We had an amazing 9 day trip through Rwanda and Uganda with Munda Africa.
Alonso, the founder of Munda Africa and our tour guide, developed a perfect itinerary for our trip, even though we aren’t the easiest clients to please! 😅 He‘s incredibly knowledgeable about his home country and we’ve learned a lot.
Of course, the vistas were wonderful. The ever changing landscapes and their different usage completely fascinated me. We spotted so much wildlife while simply driving down the sometimes quite adventurous roads.
Our accommodations were always clean, comfortable and run by an extremely kind staff. The food was always great.
All in all, we had an absolutely wonderful trip and are already planning our next trip with Munda Africa, to explore Tanzania!
