A perfect mix of availability, kindness and reliability
Edwin Safaris is simply the best! We got an excellent price for a wonderful and tailor-made experience of 5 nights through three different parks. Our (perfectly English speaker) guide was always ready to accommodate any our request. He knew each spot where to find animals and taught us about their habits and characteristics.
We definitely recommend Edwin Safaris to everyone is interested in an amazing safari experience in Kenya!

The Safari of a Lifetime
We had a wonderful safari with Edwin Safaris! Peter was great about reaching out and arranging everything before our trip, and Timothy was an excellent driver for our six day safari. This was the trip of a lifetime for us, and Edwin Safaris made it nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this company for a safari in Kenya.

Edwin Safaris is very reliable and does everything to perfectly tailor the safari tour to our needs
From the very first moment, we felt we were in good hands and that Peter would do everything to tailor the safari to our wishes. He was always available and incredibly patient in answering my questions - which were a lot!
The value for money was good. Suitable accommodations were selected, and we could even change them depending on our budget.
The service was outstanding. Our train ticket was booked for us, and the selected accommodations exceeded our expectations. We ate and drank everything from the buffet and had absolutely no problems (Sopa Lodges and Kilmani Amboseli).
Our extremely competent guide, Geff, was very pleasant, very punctual, and reliable. He was also an excellent guide, and we are still amazed at how he could drive so well and spot so many animals at the same time. He could also answer all our questions about the animals. He drove very safely, and we felt comfortable at all times. He treated the animals and nature with great respect and also explained a lot about the country to us.
Our 5-day tour: Mombasa - Emali by train (the premium class is highly recommended!), Amboseli, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Mount Longonot. We started in the morning between 5 and 7 a.m. and arrived at the hotels around 7 p.m. We covered long distances and spent a lot of time in the car, but that was exactly what we wanted: to see different animals in different parks – and not just relax in a hotel lounger.
On the tour, we saw herds of elephants, Mount Kilimanjaro, giraffes, zebras, many lions (including hunting), warthogs, buffalo, antelopes, gazelles, cheetahs, and more.
Perhaps we were lucky, but we would definitely go on a safari again during the "rainy season," as we only experienced a minute of light rain. The grass was a bit high in places, but we still saw the animals well, and the number of other jeeps was manageable. Often we were even alone.

Superb safari, friendly and knowledgeable guide and so close to nature
We have had the most amazing safari experience with Edwin Safaris. We saw so many animals as well as seeing fantastic landscapes in the national parks, seeing Kenya and learning all about the animals and country.
For context we did 6 day Sopa Tour, and we are a couple in our 30s from the UK.
Our driver James was super experienced, and helped us see all of the animals we wanted to see. He told us all about the animals, and answered all of our questions about the national parks and life in Kenya, and made us feel really at home. He was also really respectful of the animals and natural landscape and was clearly passionate about this, as well as being an amazing driver in some challenging muddy conditions.
Doing the Sopa tour was great as we could see the different landscapes and animals that reside in each national park, and although there was quite a lot of driving between the parks, this meant we saw a lot of Kenya that we otherwise wouldn’t see.
The Sopa lodges themselves felt luxurious and there was a good variety of delicious foods and the staff were very welcoming.
Edwin Safaris were super helpful leading up to our safari and very responsive to messages, and also checked in with us during which was great.
Overall we have loved our Kenyan safari - this is an experience not to be missed, and 100% worth booking direct through Edwin Safaris.

Just fabulous. Highly recommend!
We recently completed a 7-day safari with Edwin Safaris, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. It was worth every single penny, and we would do it again!
First of all, a huge thank you to Peter, our contact person at Edwin Safaris. He is incredibly reliable and organized everything flawlessly. Right from the beginning, he answered all our messages super fast, leaving absolutely no questions unanswered. His professionalism gave us peace of mind before the trip even started.
Our guide, Amos, was simply perfect. He has an immense amount of knowledge about the wildlife and took the time to explain everything to us in great detail. Amos went above and beyond, taking us on long, fantastic game drives to ensure we got the absolute best experience possible. His passion and expertise made this trip truly special.

A wonderful safari experience from beginning booking to the whole trip
I have to say it’s a trip that i have been planed for years and Edwin Safaris make it happen! Before the booking, I have checked with other companies. Mr. Peter is always the fast to response to my msg and it makes me feel comfortable and safe when traveling to a country that i have never been to. Also, the price, checking with other companies, they provided a reasonable price, which is definitely worth it! During the tour, Mr Jeffery showed us a great passion in finding the animals and explaining them! Not only a tour guide, but also a reliable driver!
Even though the company is quit young(~3 years with limited comments), i really recommend them for the rest of the group to be considered. Very professional, friendly and respectful

Amazing guide and so many animal sightings!
Edwin Safaris helped my friend and I tailor our itinerary exactly as we wanted. We were able to select which parks and lodges we wanted to visit and Peter gave us a great rate compared to other safari companies. Our guide Geoffrey was the best, we had tons of great animal sightings on our full day in Maasai Mara including 2 cheetahs, a leopard hunting, lions eating a kill, and more. He is a great guy and very experienced, we highly recommend him for a great safari experience!

Best trip ever! Warm hospitality, amazing hotels, and unforgettable safaris with Jeff
This has been our best trip ever so far. We received such a warm welcome from Peter, and our journey through Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli was absolutely incredible with Jeff as our guide.
Jeff is extremely knowledgeable about Kenya’s wildlife and truly goes above and beyond to make every game drive an unforgettable experience. He always made sure we spotted the highlight animals in each park and brought us to the best photo spots. On top of that, his driving was always safe and comfortable throughout the trip.
I would highly recommend booking with Edwin Safari and asking for Jeff if you’re planning to visit Kenya — you’ll be in great hands.
Also, every hotel selection was excellent and made the whole experience even more memorable.

Just amazing
I went to Kenya with my son as a present for his graduation. After a thorough search Edwin safaris stood out by the professional itinerary, fast and flexible communication and in the end value for money (at least on paper). With lots of excitement and anxiety about our trip we met Peter and our guide Timothy. From the first moment we felt comfortable that we made the right choice. We booked an eight day tailored tour in Sopa lodges in Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara. It was beyond expectations. Of course because of the beautiful country and the stunning nature in the parks, but just as much because of Timothy. Everything was well organised and facilitated. From a clean Landcruiser every morning until excellent driving skills. But outmost for his extensive knowledge and skills when it comes to animal spotting. With a lot of passion and endless patience regarding our questions Timothy proved to be an excellent guide and teacher in one. We have learned of lot about the animals, flora and fauna, circle of live and geographic and demographic topics. I can really recommend Edwin Safaris without any hesitation!
