A dream honeymoon!! An unforgettable safari with the whole family!!!
We celebrated our honeymoon with a beautiful safari in Serengeti National Park, together with my husband, our children, and the whole family. And what an experience it was! Everything was perfectly organized from A to Z.
From the very first contact with Isaya, everything felt trustworthy and smooth. Everything was arranged from the Netherlands with clear communication, kindness, and a lot of patience. And when we arrived in Tanzania, he come to pick us up and personally welcomed us with a warm smile. That level of care and genuine involvement is something you rarely see.
We stayed in beautiful, clean lodges! The accommodation in the middle of the wilderness was breathtaking. You are surrounded by the sounds of nature, truly a unique experience you can’t find anywhere else. Everything was safely arranged and felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The food was also amazing. It was delicious and hygienic!
Our tour guide Eli was fantastic. He felt almost like family. Warm, friendly, very professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took his time with us, explained everything clearly, and knew exactly where to go to spot animals. We saw the Big Five and so much more, moments we will relive in our minds forever.
The jeep was very comfortable and clean, perfect for long game drives, and had plenty of charging points for our phones! The whole family enjoyed every moment intensely. It was such an incredible experience that none of us will ever forget.
This was also our second time booking with this organization. Our first trip was in October 2022. Because that experience was so amazing, we chose to celebrate our honeymoon with them again, this time bringing our family along. It was absolutely the best decision we could have made.
If you’re looking for a safari company that is reliable, professional, warm, and truly dedicated, look no further. We sincerely recommend them from the heart.
Thank you for creating memories we will cherish forever. ❤️🦁🐘🦓🦒

Great experience
We did a 4 day, 3 night trip with Go With Me Safaris, consisting of a 1 day trip to Materuni followed by safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater.
Prior to booking, communication with Michael was great, and he was very responsive to my many questions, but was not pushy as some other operators we got quotes from were. We chose Go with Me based on their good reviews and I was very pleased with the experience.
Our flights to and from Zanzibar were included so obviously the price was a little more, and I also found all Tanzania safaris were more expensive than other countries, but it is worth it.
We opted for mid range accommodation and we found that the first night was closer to budget (a hotel in Arusha before we started on safari) but the two lodges when were on safari were closer to luxury! They were so incredible I almost wished we weren't on safari so we could spend the day s there as well! The second was even upgraded from what we originally booked by the company, which was great.
For the experience itself then - the day trip to Materuni prior to the safari itself is 100% worth it. The hike is mid-difficulty, very slippery so make sure you have good shoes and just enjoy it. The view at the end is worth it! Our driver/guide and Michael were here for this, and their enthusiasm only made the day more enjoyable. We had an amazing lunch at the Materuni village and then saw the coffee making process and drank coffee with the locals. This village visit felt more authentic and less exploitative than others we have done in the region and the village were so welcoming. Make sure you buy some goods from them as well to support their business (banana beer is an acquired taste, but worth a try!) Finally, Michael had arranged a cake for my birthday which we shared with the locals from the village which made the day truly special.
For the safari then! Our driver/guide Kefas was wonderful. It is worth noting that he did not work for Go With Me, which is quite a common practice amongst safari operators. I guess this raise some risk of how issues would be resolved if something went wrong, but honestly we had no problems whatsoever. Kefas was such an interesting person to talk to and knowledgeable about the animals and wildlife. An ethical safari was very important to us and he was very respectful and responsible towards the animals, but still got us close when he could which was great. We managed to see the big 5 (just about, the rhino was a long way away!) and more. The camp cook, Yusuph, was also great. The food was sooo much better than a normal packed lunch and he catered for me being a vegetarian every day. As well as cooking great food, he was also friendly and welcoming.
We did a shared safari and there were 6 of us in total (2 groups of 2 and 2 solo travellers). The jeep was spacious and comfortable, even on the rough Serengeti roads. We were in different accomodation than the rest of the group, but organisation was great.
There was slight confusion on one night because one of the lodges has 3 locations but the driver made some calls to ensure we didn't waste time driving to the wrong one! Unfortunately our lodge on the last night was about an hour away from the rest of the group meaning we got there and hour later and had to leave an hour earlier. It would have been better if groups could be arranged with proximity to different lodges in mind but considering we were all with different companies this isn't really feasible. It wasn't much of a problem anyway, and the lodge was so lovely it was worth the drive and the early start!
Our only hiccup was related to our flight back, which was delayed by over 6 hours. Obviously this is beyond the control of Go With Me, but the airline showed us that they had informed the tour company a day earlier, but the message didn't make it to us, so we were stuck at the airport for a long time unable to even check in. An unfortunate situation, and better communication would have been good here. However Michael was apologetic, and not much we could have done here - these things happen!
Overall, a great trip, on the pricey side yes, but I would recommend the company to anyone.
