Guaranteed best safari of your life!
Our safari tour with Shafino was a once in a lifetime experience and will stay with us for a long time. He was the best guide, with the best facts and information on the animals as well as extensive knowledge of the landscape. Shafino made us feel safe while navigating the rough terrain of the national parks. He would always try to get us as close as possible to the wildlife, and was very patient as we watched in awe at the natural beauty. We enjoyed this so much we want to come back already! Definitely will book with Shafino the next time we return.

Shafino Wildlife Safaris is A#1!!!
This fabulous safari was worth every penny! Shafino took us to the best viewing spots for all the animals in the Serengeti: we saw cheetahs, leopards, lions (many, including a kill and two pairs of mating lions), many Cape buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, a black rhinoceros and her baby, baboons, jackals, hyenas, and tons of wildebeest and gazelles of various kinds on their migration. Shafino offered excellent service in his clean vehicle, he was super knowledgeable about everything we saw and did his best to accommodate every request (we are super into birds, and he stopped for photos any time we wanted). Communication was perfect, the whole experience from start to finish was flawless.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Tanzania and we were lucky enough to have Shafino as our guide. We got the full safari experience! We were able to see and do more than I could’ve expected going into our trip. We saw the big nine and so much more! Not only can he spot things from a distance, he also knows the roads like the back of his hand and is able to navigate quickly to the hot spots where the action is happening. He has a wealth of knowledge of the animals and their habits, and was an incredible teacher. Shafino has a good heart and a real passion for the safari experience. We are going home from the trip of a lifetime with so much gratitude and so many amazing memories!

Incredible Tour Guide for Tanzania Wildlife Experience.
We had the privilege of spending 9 days with Shafino on safari and had some of the best memories of our life because of him. His experience is unmatched in the Serengeti, he has been doing this for 26 years and it shows. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows Tanzania extremely well. He has the eyes of a hawk and was able to spot animals from miles away. He is a great driver and was always making sure that we were taken care of. More than his knowledge and skills from years of experience, his heart for people and Tanzania set him apart from the rest. He is a good man who cares about family and cares about all people. He knows so many guides and people of Tanzania and you will get the privilege to see the impact he has made in people's lives. We consider him a friend and would recommend him to anyone coming to experience the beauty and special culture Tanzania has to offer.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Shafino – Expert Guide, Incredible Wildlife, and great company
I had the absolute best safari experience with Shafino — hands down, you won't find a better guide.
From the very start, Shafino impressed us with his ability to find even the most elusive animals. He led us to three leopards, multiple groups of 10+ lions every single day, 11 cheetahs, and a stunning range of wildlife — from zebras and elephants to gazelles and the great wildebeest migration crossing the river. We didn’t just see animals — we saw the action. We witnessed a cheetah chasing a wildebeest, another with a gazelle kill, and three cheetahs feeding on a fresh kill. Thanks to his incredible driving skills, we got remarkably close while always feeling safe.
What really sets Shafino apart is his depth of knowledge. He understands the animals, their behaviors, the land, the plants, and the culture of the region. He’s extremely well-educated and shared so much insight throughout the trip. He could predict what animals were going to do before they did it, helping us get in perfect position for the best photos. Every outing had a purpose — no aimless driving — and every day, we hit our goals.
We always felt safe and well taken care of. Shafino’s background as a mechanic gave us extra peace of mind, and although we never had an issue, it was reassuring to know we were in capable hands. He went above and beyond — keeping our drinks cold, tracking down the red bananas we were curious about, and always making sure we were happy and comfortable.
I also want to highlight that his company was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They organized everything seamlessly — from logistics and accommodations to small personal touches — and were always responsive, professional, and accommodating. They clearly care about their guests and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of.

Our entire safari experience would not have been the same without Shafino. He has an incredible eye for spotting animals and his knowledge about everything from the Big Five/ Nine to birds, plants, and local culture was impressive. He had an answer to all of our questions and explained in detail. Every game drive felt like an adventure guided by someone who genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. What really stood out though was how easy it was to connect with him. He’s one of the nicest guides you could have. He’s funny, patient, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were seeing what we wanted to see and having a good time. By the end of our trip, he felt less like a guide and more like a friend. A Truly Fortunate Journey!
Shafino provided excellent service! From the very first day, he clearly explained our daily itinerary and the animals we might encounter. During the safari, communication was highly responsive, and with his help, we witnessed many unforgettable scenes—including a lion cub nursing, lions mating, and wildebeests crossing the river. All these iconic moments were right before our eyes. Shafino himself has a great sense of humor and made the journey incredibly enjoyable. The entire experience was perfectly rounded off.
