a very unforgettable trip with Shafino WIldlife Safaris
This trip was absolutely perfect. We had a very enjoyable few days. Our guide Shafino was very professional, kindness and hospitable. The service was superb and he had eagle-like eyes, always able to show us the animals we wanted to see. Everything on the grassland was so beautiful. It was an unforgettable trip. We are looking forward to coming again. For our next trip, we will definitely choose this company.

Amazing Safari tour August 2025
I had a great time on our safari tour. We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. Our guide, Shafino, was amazing. He had an impressive knowledge of all the animals we saw. We saw so many things, so many more than I ever thought we would, because of his skills at spotting and identifying the wildlife. His experience made this trip incredible for us. We saw everything we were hoping to see, and so many more besides.
Safari trip of a lifetime with Shafino
We covered Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Central and Northern Serengeti over 5 days. Our guide Shafino was excellent!! From the moment he picked us up from the hotel in Arusha, he showed us a fantastic time - we were able to see all kinds of animals and birds, including the big 9. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the wildlife and shared obscure details about them all. He is an expert driver, and very professional! He went the extra mile in trying to find hard-to-find animals like leopards and rhinos and I’m happy to report that we had multiple sightings of them. He is the master of his domain!
Fantastic week long safari with Shafino
Shafino was a fantastic guide who really cared that we saw as many animals as possible. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and had answers to every question we asked. We ended up seeing 9 lion cubs, 4 leopards including 2 cubs, and so much more. We had a great time on the safari because of him. Would recommend him to anyone.

One of the most important aspects of a safari that many don't consider is the off-road driving. We witnessed several other vehicles struggling in difficult terrains, but thanks to Shafino’s remarkable driving abilities, we never once felt at risk of getting stuck. Exceptional Experienced Guide
When you go on safari the success of your trip depends on your guide. We had an amazing trip and we attribute much of that to Shafino. He has over 20 years experience, extensive knowledge in all areas and was professional at all times. He could answer every question posed to him and there were many. We can not thank him enough for ensuring we saw such amazing encounters. We saw 2 kills by lions, leopards eating prey, 3 migration river crossings, the great migration in all its spectacular glory and had a very close encounter with a cheetah and her cubs and saw many lions. This is only some of what we saw. He knew where to position us for the best view. He made such an effort to ensure this trip met our expectations. Every day of our tour with Shafino was amazing.
His knowledge of wildlife is matched with his knowledge of vehicles. You feel safe knowing he knows how to fix any problem due to being a mechanic previously and he really understands how to drive on difficult roads. His superior knowledge was very evident on our trip.

A brilliant Guide in Tanzania.
Shafino is a senior guide whose experience and professionalism really gave us the best experience we could have hoped for in Tanzania. Every day of our safari was packed with highlights. We had many interactions with the big cats on most days and we saw multiple river crossings by the migrating wildebeest and zebra in northern Serengeti. We could not have been happier with the service that Shafino provided in showcasing the best that Tanzania has to offer. He tailored each day to suit our needs and ensured that we were always happy. We are confident that there would be no better Guide to travel with. Shafino is widely revered by other guides and often helped others out of tricky situations while we were on safari.

An amazing trip of a lifetime!
Shafino led our group of four, for six days in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We stayed in four different types of accommodation, in different parts of the Serengeti - the accommodation was great, with pools in three of them, great food served in a buffet style, and in the pop up tented accommodation, great entertainment!
Shafino made sure that we saw everything you could possibly see - cheetah, leopard, rhino, elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, giraffe - so much wildlife. He is extremely knowledgeable about the animals and also birds (which was particularly great for us). He didn’t give up when searching for a particular animal. And we benefitted time and again. We also enjoyed the cultural village that he took us too, as well as a very impressive cultural centre outside Arusha.
It was a fabulous trip, fantastic in every way and Shafino made it that way, he worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best experience in his beloved country.
I would go back in a heartbeat - the trip of a lifetime. Thank you Shafino for everything.

Excellent
Shafino is an extremely experienced and very knowledgeable tour operator. He was very welcoming and did everything in his power and more to meet our needs. We set a target of what we wanted to see on when we stated the tour and we met those targets early in the tour. We left Tanzania wanting more and we will definitely go back!
