Great experience!
I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend this tour company to anyone visiting the Victoria Falls region.
Everything was very well organized. The hospitality was excellent, the accommodations were comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. What stood out most was the quality of the guides. They were knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing information about the wildlife, conservation efforts, local culture, and history of the region. I left feeling that I learned so much more than I would have on a typical sightseeing trip.
The wildlife experiences were unforgettable, and it was clear that the team genuinely cares about creating meaningful experiences for guests while respecting the environment and local communities.
My only suggestion for improvement would be communication around a few itinerary changes that occurred toward the end of the trip. Nothing major impacted the overall experience, but a bit more proactive communication would have helped set expectations.
Overall, this was an incredible trip and one of the highlights of my time in Southern Africa. Thank you to the entire team for the memories, the warmth, and the outstanding service.

An unforgettable day
This day was seamless - from our 7am pickup at our Victoria Falls accommodation to the Border help to the game drive, lunch, cruise and then transfer home. Everyone involved was friendly and looked after us including the 7 month old baby in our group.
The wildlife encounters on the game drive and the cruise were incredible. Our 22 year old daughter said it was one of the best days of her life!!!

Terrific!
We had a wonderful time and Sheldon was an excellent guide! Friendly and great personality! Got us to the fall right before sun rises and we had a perfect view before the big crowd arrived! The lookout breakfast was phenomenal and it was a perfect morning to get us going

Macdonald was very helpful and responsive from the travel planning stage to the end of the trip. Not just him but all his crew like drivers and tour guides were super friendly and helpful. Professional, well organised and great safari
Just back from a Rockfowl Chobe trip from Victoria falls. Trip was very well organised compared to other safaris we have been on. Border crossing was easy, guide explained everything real well, the lunch was great and we enjoyed the river cruise the most. Was so good that we’re booking with them again for tomorrow 😊

Amazing experience!!
The safari experience was exceptional from start to finish. The transfer from Victoria Falls to Hwange was smooth and comfortable; the driver was professional, drove very well, and was extremely polite throughout the journey. We also arrived perfectly on time, which set a great tone for the day.
During the safari itself, our guide went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. He was constantly attentive, making sure we had great photo opportunities with the best angles, and he shared many interesting and insightful explanations about the wildlife and surroundings. What truly stood out was his dedication, he even extended the safari beyond the scheduled time so we could see the lions a second time. That extra effort made the experience even more special and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, thoughtful, and truly enjoyable safari

Easy way to enjoy Chobe area.
I recommend working with Rockfowl Safaris. Good communication about the trip including visa information. All my questions were answered promptly. The drivers we had were on time and helpful and everything was coordinated smoothly throughout the day. We paid by card at the lunch buffet. The lunch was fantastic with several salad options, desserts, meat, fish, and vegetables. Tea and coffee are included but other drinks were an additional cost. Free WiFi at the lunch venue. Drinks and snacks provided during the morning game drive with additional drinks in the afternoon. We didn’t have much luck with animals during the game drive but saw giraffes and elephants up close and hippopotamus from a distance. The afternoon trip to Namibia on the boat was beautiful. The border crossing took a while so not a lot of time to see the island. We did enjoy seeing the village but I think the visa expense ($85) is not worth it. You get a multiple entry visa good for 3 months so if you plan to visit Namibia in that timeframe it is worth it. We had about an hour on the island. We came in from Victoria Falls and the KAZA visa worked fine for us even with crossing into Namibia. Overall we had a great day. There were no unexpected charges or problems with the border crossings. I highly recommend this operator.

Reliable, Punctual, Knowledgeable, Responsive
I decided last moment to go to Botswana. I communicated via whsts up from airport only evening before arrival to Kasane, that I want to do Safari and boat trip in Chobe + to go to Namibia impalila. Mr Macdonald was very patient and despite my bad internet connection he explained all details, options , timings and prices. We did deal , he even did not ask any deposit and driver picked me up in the morning for game and boat drive which was fantastic included great BBQ lunch. I can only recommend Rockfowl services.
