Professional excellence
Undugu Safari was an extraordinary experience. All expedition details were communicated with great clarity and ease beforehand. Our accommodations were fabulous, and our vehicle was perfect. We loved the pop-up shade cover and built-in cooler on hot days. The guide and driver were fantastic at locating animals and explaining their behavior. We saw the “big five” animals and so much more—including a male lion eating a zebra! The provided lunch was delicious and accommodated a vegetarian in the group. I would highly recommend this company for their knowledge, professionalism, excellent communication, and care.

Amazing!!!
Our experience with Undugu Safaris was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The vehicles were clean, spacious, and comfortable — perfect for long game drives. Our guide was knowledgeable and truly went above and beyond to get us to the best viewing spots. We were able to see so many incredible animals up close, including cheetahs, lions, elephants, and giraffes.
Every moment felt well organized, safe, and exciting. You can really tell the team loves what they do and cares about giving guests the best possible experience. I can’t recommend Undugu Safaris enough — it was truly the highlight of my trip! The food on our lunch break was awesome too.

Knowledgeable, fun, helpful.
The team was fantastic, our guides Michael and Nickson were so enjoyable to be around and very accommodating. The chef cooked great food even with some dietary restraints our group had, and the lunch was a full meal, while many other company’s served box lunches. The safari experience was incredible, the driver and guide did an awesome job getting us around and in great places for photos. Fantastic Company would definitely book with them again!!!

Warm and welcoming! They felt like family.
We were a group of six traveling together, and our day in Tarangire National Park was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we set out, everything was so well organized… smooth logistics, comfortable vehicle, and a guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife.
Tarangire itself is stunning! The landscape dotted with giant baobab trees and endless herds of elephants made it feel like we were inside a nature documentary. We also spotted lions, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. Our guide shared fascinating insights about animal behavior and the ecosystem, which made the experience even richer.
The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day. It was the perfect balance for a safari, learning, and relaxation.
We can’t recommend Undugu Safaris enough!! They made our trip seamless, memorable, and full of joy. If you’re thinking about exploring Tarangire or Tanzania in general, this is the company to go with!

Top notch guides
We went is safari with Undugu Safaris and the whole experience was amazing. From the planning to the return to our lodge the guides thought of everything. They actively sought out the best views and the places where animals were so we could get to them. We were able to see a cheetah and her cubs, lions, elephants, zebra, giraffes , buffalo, warthogs, so many beautiful birds and more. Many of these encounters were up close (as close as we could get to protect us and the animals ) the guide never rushed us with picture taking or held back when we were “good to go” he would position our vehicle where we could get the best photos/views. We ate lunch at a lookout point that was breath taking and he kept the mischievous little monkeys away! The facilities in the national park were adequate. The vehicle had a modified roof so we could stand and see out and still have shade. Overall the experience was a 10/10. If you’re looking for a safari company book this one you won’t be disappointed!
