Excellent and Professional service
The tour operator had to pick us at a bus stop in Nakuru at 3am, and they were there promptly, checked us into a hotel. The tour guide was on-time to take us through our agreed itinerary in Nakuru. Very friendly and answered all questions
We were booked for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge which was a great experience!

Knowledgeable, personable & good sense of humou
I recently traveled with 5 friends on a Safari in Kenya with Twight Tails Tours and Travel. We had a fabulous time from start to finish. Annette promptly answered all our queries when we were considering booking our trip and also after we had booked.
Bonface was a very good driver and we felt safe with him on our long drives between National Parks. He is very personable and knowledgeable about the animals and birds and very good at spotting the animals. It was a wonderful holiday and I highly recommend the company.

A wonderful trip
We had a wonderful trip with Twilight Tours. Annette did a great job in organising our trip and Bonny was an excellent driver and guide. We travelled to Samburu National Park, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara National Park, Lake Navaisha, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West National Park and Diani Beach. There was quite a lot of driving time but that was unavoidable with such an itinerary and we were happy that we flew back to Nairobi. Bonny was knowledgeable and entertaining. He also knew about the birds (which my husband and I were interested in) and helped us to see and identify them. The accommodations and food were all very good but my favorite was the Mara Crossing Camp with its luxury tents and lovely setting beside the river. I would highly recommend Twilight Tours and would certainly travel with them again.

Twilight Tails Tours was able to create exactly what we wanted for our Kenyan Safari experience.
We had an incredible Safari experience. Bonface is super capable and personable and fun to be with. All accommodations were carefully thought out and a very consistent and comfortable standard. Bonface was very knowledgeable on wildlife whereabouts and likely behaviours. If you are looking to book a Safari leave the big names and go for Twilight Tails Tours. Get exactly what you want for your experience.

Young, knowledgeable, responsive team who were pleasant to be with and delivered what they promised
Have just returned from 13 nights in Kenya on a great trip organised by Annette Makau at Twilight Tails and Travel ably assisted on the road by Bonface. There were 6 of us, mostly in our mid 60s. We visited 6 parks and then went down to the coast at Mombasa and Diani Beach. As a result we spent a lot of time on the road in our Land Cruiser (6 is a good number) but always felt at ease with Bonface behind the wheel. Because of time restrictions we had some one night stopovers which are not ideal. It would be more relaxing to spend 2 nights at each game park and 3 in the Masai Mara or perhaps just choose fewer parks to go to. However, the parks are all different and making that choice in advance would be difficult. Mombasa and a day at the beach at the end was a nice change.
As for Annette and Bonface and Twilight Tails I have no hesitation in recommending them. Annette was very responsive and helpful in organising the trip and adapting it to suit our requirements. As well as taking on the huge driving job, Bonface was very knowledgeable about the animals and birds and very good at spotting them. We saw whatever was there to be seen.
Twilight Tails Tours and Travel is a relatively new tour company run by these young locals who are doing a very good job. Their communications and service couldn't be faulted, the price was right and we all enjoyed the trip in Kenya that they delivered. If you give them a go you won't be disappointed.

Very diligent and also knowledgeable of his work.
The tour operator communicates well in advance during planning. Pick ups are always on time. They also make sure to give the best experience during game drives and very gentle with children answering all their questions.
They driver is very cautious while driving to give the guests a good experience.
Had a very good experience, would highly recommend and will definitely us them again.

Does not rush clients during game drives unlike others who will rush to the next stop before you get to enjoy the scenery, views and animals.
Very accommodating of individual request.
Perfect for those with minor children as they are extremely patient.

Amazing experience
We booked this tour the night before and was very grateful that Twlight tours were able to accommodate. We did the 1 day trip to Nakuru lake, just the 2 of us. Our guide Albert was very knowledgeable and talked us through not only all the animals but also about the local areas on the drive to the reserve. Water was provided and he regularly asked if we needed restroom breaks, which was vital on a 3 hour drive!
Communication with the company was done through watsap, with a bank transfer required (I used Monzo as they have small fees) and the whole process was super easy. The lunch stop was stunning! Throughly recommend.

Amboseli Safari tour
We went on a two day one night tour to Amboseli National Park. Our driver, Albert, was amazing. He always managed to get our truck in the perfect spot for photos and animal viewing while being courteous to other Safari trucks. We had a very lucky day seeing cheetahs, lion cubs, and the large elephant herds. Kilimanjaro with no cloud cover was also beautiful! We stayed at Sopa Amboseli which was nice. Make sure to bring some cash for the trip to the Maasai village if you go as there is a market at the end where they have their goods for sale. Great communication from Annette for booking and tour details.
