I had Oswold, and he was amazing! So kind and he had so much knowledge.
The service was really goodđ„° We had an amazing time at the Napuru waterfall trail, and to Kikulweta hot springs! The communication was no problem, and i feel that we got a good price for the service we got. I even lost my wallet in Oswoldâs car, and he came back to where I was staying to give it back to me. I really recomend Africa Merit Safaris!

Excellent care and experience
Our experience with Africa Merit Safaris was excellent. Communications and the itinerary was very clear, so we did nothave to worry about anything. They are a reliable team and it shows that they have experience in the national parks so you can get the best experiencie. We sar other options but the quality and price of the safari were great.

The Serengeti had been my dream since I was a child. I waited a lifetime, and when the time came, I wanted to be sure I would have the experience I wanted.
I contacted Osward through a personal acquaintance, explained what I wanted, and together we created a program tailored to my needs. I was not disappointed. It was an exceptional trip, from arrival to departure. The four of us traveled with a guide/driver and cook in tow. We slept in tents in a variety of locations, in close contact with nature, without barriers, from the lakes to the plains of the Serengeti to the peaks of Ngoro Ngoro. We saw every animal imaginable, an amazing Mara crossing included, thanks to George, an expert guide and fantastic travel companion who overcame every little inconvenience that can happen when traveling for 15 days on roads that are barely passable. Our cook was better than a 5-star chef in my opinion, amazing us with excellent food in every situation, from breakfast to dinner. Incredible sunsets and sunrises, unforgettable emotions, ending with a short trek on Kilimanjaro, a bike ride through fields and villages, and a dip in the hot springs in the middle of the savannah.

Perfect day
Africa Merit Safaris organised a perfect day for my wifeâs birthday. We were hesitating to the last minister but Oswald was still able to organise everything without any hitches. We decided to go for a walking safari in Arusha National Park. Driver waited patiently because we were a bit late. We arrived to the rangers centre in Arusha NP and driver helped us to find the ranger who took us for a walk. Despite we were told that we could be paired with other people (due to way park operates) we had a private tour. Ranger was very well informed and was happy to change route and take into account our requests. We have seen plenty animals including giraffes, warthogs and buffaloes. We got very close to the giraffe, much closer they would allow a car on a car safari! It was incredible experience. Arusha NP in the foothills of Mt Meru is a truly magical place. Later after 3 hrs walking our driver waited with boxes lunch that was delicious and well presented in cardboard lunch boxes. Oswald was incredible, very responsive and took into account all our requests. He has extensive knowledge about safari business and all parks. Price was very reasonable and came $70 cheaper (per person) than nearest competitor. We also learned that all the profit Oswald makes goes towards a local nursery and pre-school for disadvantaged children. We can thoroughly recommend Africa Merit Safaris
