Africa Merit was the perfect partner to experience the beauty of Tanzania in a unique experience.
About a year ago, I planned my trip to Tanzania with Africa Merit, and I still think back on this unforgettable experience today. I have traveled a lot around the world, but these adventures remain incomparable. A particular highlight was definitely climbing Kilimanjaro, which was perfectly planned from start to finish. The guides led us well throughout the week, the cook prepared delicious food, and the rest of the crew also contributed to the success of the hike with their positive energy. It was truly the most special thing I have ever done in my life. After the hike, I was also able to get to know the country's nature and wilderness better on a multi-day safari. The Big Five will stay in my mind forever. It was an all-around perfect experience, communication with Africa Merit was always flawless, and I would book another trip anytime. Amazing
The safari tour was incredible and well beyond our expectations. We got to experience the beautiful and fascinating African wilderness. We encountered giraffes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and more. My trip to Tanzania was truly unforgettable, and that's largely thanks to the excellent organization and guidance provided by this travel company. From the very first contact, they really listened to my wishes, provided clear information, and made me genuinely excited about the journey ahead.
The highlight was without a doubt climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. I hadn't originally planned to do the climb, so I didn’t bring any of the necessary gear. Luckily, I was able to rent everything I needed. Everything was perfectly arranged: experienced guides, friendly support staff, quality equipment, and a strong focus on safety. Thanks to their expert guidance, I made it to the summit — something I’ll never forget!
Afterward, I went on a 4-day safari through various national parks, including Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. What an adventure! Every day was different: we saw lions up close, elephants walking right by the jeep, and even spotted a leopard. The guide was not only extremely knowledgeable but also passionate about nature and shared so much insight into the animals and ecosystems.
The safari accommodations were comfortable and full of atmosphere, often in stunning locations right in the middle of nature. Everything was just right — from transport to meals to communication.
In short: I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an adventurous, well-organized, and safe trip in Tanzania. Thank you for a journey that far exceeded my expectations!

Amazing and authentic experience in beautiful Tanzania - Kilimanjaro & Safari
Osward is a fantastic host who organized the best trips we could have wished for! Communication was easy, and the service was perfectly coordinated—from pick-up at our accommodation, throughout the entire trip, all the way to drop-off. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing.
The guides and the staff were also consistently friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel like queens. We felt extremely comfortable at all times! The value for money was excellent as well.
We took the Machame Route up to the Kili peak and were able to experience all types of vegetation along the way. It was a unique experience we will never forget.
The safari afterward was a wonderful way to relax after the challenging Kilimanjaro climb, and we even saw the Big Five! The nature was absolutely breathtaking.
I would book with Osward again anytime and can highly recommend him!
