An Exceptional Safari Experience
We have just completed an incredible 5-day safari in Uganda with Likyadi Adventures, and I would like to share our experience because it truly deserves to be highlighted.
First and foremost, I would like to personally thank Sam, our private driver-guide, who played a huge part in making this trip so special. Sam is a truly wonderful person: smiling, professional, punctual, knowledgeable, extremely pleasant, and an excellent driver. We spent a lot of time together during the long drives, lunches, dinners, and throughout the trip, and we had some great conversations. His knowledge of Uganda, kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude made a real difference. Thank you, Sam, for your excellent company throughout these five days!
As for Likyadi Adventures, the agency fully honored its commitments. The logistics were extremely well organized, everything was handled smoothly, and the overall quality of the service went far beyond our expectations.
The lodges we stayed in were also excellent: Mpogo Safari Lodge, Pumba Safari Cottages, Rushaga Gorilla Lodge, and Chimpanzee Forest Lodge. We received very high-quality service, stayed in comfortable rooms with beautiful views, and enjoyed excellent food throughout the trip. We were truly spoiled with delicious meals and wonderful hospitality.
But of course, the highlights were the extraordinary wildlife experiences. Meeting the mountain gorillas and chimpanzees was absolutely unforgettable. These are once-in-a-lifetime experiences that will remain engraved in our memories forever.
I would also like to highlight something that was particularly important to us and played a major role in our decision to choose this agency: their transparency and honesty.
Before booking, I contacted several safari agencies in Uganda. Likyadi Adventures was the only agency that clearly informed me that, as a Tunisian citizen and therefore an African citizen, I was eligible to pay USD 500 for the gorilla trekking permit instead of USD 800. I really appreciated this transparency and honesty. They could easily have kept this information to themselves, but they chose to inform me about it. This was one of the main reasons why I decided to book with them, and today, I have absolutely no regrets.
This was my second safari in Africa, after previously experiencing a safari in Tanzania, and I can honestly say that the overall quality of this Ugandan safari was far superior to our previous experience in Tanzania.
As a frequent traveler who has visited more than 110 countries, I have had the opportunity to experience many different destinations, hotels, tours, and travel companies, and I am quite demanding when it comes to the quality of a trip. I can therefore highly recommend Likyadi Adventures without hesitation.
If you are considering a safari in Uganda, I strongly encourage you to go with them. You will receive excellent organization, transparency, high-quality accommodation, great food, professional service, and, above all, an unforgettable experience.
A huge thank you to Sam and the entire Likyadi Adventures team for making this journey so memorable. We will definitely come back to you for our future adventures, especially for Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Incredible experience!
Really loved my trip on all levels. From the first contact until I was dropped off at the airport. I really felt I was taken care of and I was in good hands. I received lot of information during the trip and I highly recommend the agency. Our driver and tour guide Sam looked after the little details making sure everything went smooth. The agency built a customized trip and we stayed in really good accomodations and had super yummy food. I'm sure I'll be back!

Unforgettable Uganda experience – Gorillas, Shoebills, and 5-Star Guiding!
We had a fantastic experience traveling through Uganda. The undisputed highlight was trekking to see the mountain gorillas, followed closely by spotting the shoebill stork, but we also saw chimpanzees and the golden monkeys.
A massive thank you to our guides, Sam and Davis. Their support began well before we even arrived in Uganda; they helped us prepare by offering great advice on what clothing to pack and patiently answered every minor doubt we had. Throughout the trip, they were super helpful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly.

Amazing experience!
Our trip to Uganda with Likyadi Adventures was an amazing experience that we will always remember. We saw beautiful places, had wonderful experiences, and created many special memories.
From the start, even before the trip, the team was very helpful and supportive. They provided all the information we needed, answered our questions, and were always available to help us prepare. This made us feel relaxed and confident before arriving in Uganda.
